    Each year, the Padma awards are announced on the eve of Republic Day for distinguished service in art, social work, public affairs, science & engineering, trade and industry, medicine, literature & education, sports & civil service. The awards are conferred by the President of India at ceremonial functions at Rashtrapati Bhawan around March/April.

    KPGU, Vadodara partners up with IG Drones to build a world-class Drone Ecosystem in India

    February 1: Drs. Kiran & Pallavi Patel Global University (KPGU) and IG Droneshave signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU)to establish a ‘Drone Centre of Excellence. It complies with the provisions of the recently drafted National Education Policy, which has expanded the scope for imparting information about drone technology through vocational courses for various age groups.

    As part of this MoU, both parties have agreed to collaborate and synchronise training infrastructure with the purpose of upskilling youngsters and making them industry-ready. India will soon be the world’s Drone Hub, with a new drone ecosystem in place and a new wave of 10 million skilled young people on the way.

    KPGU was established with a view to being a leading educational organization imparting holistic education to help students become responsible world citizens who are sensitive to the needs of society. It promotes participative-cum-partnership collaboration with industrial fronts & organizations like IG Drones, which provides enterprise drone solutions and pan-India training to ensure active participation in the industry.

    The MoU was signed between Prof. (Dr.) Kehul Shah, Registrar, Drs. Kiran & Pallavi Patel Global University (KPGU) and Bodhisattwa Sanghapriya, CEO, IG Drones on Jan 31, which beamed a new varsity into the drone ecosystem in India.

    This centre, which is aligned to the government’s Skill India and AtmaNirbhar Bharat initiatives, will upskill and empower drone industry youth. The IG Drones Centre of Excellence (CoE) is an initiative that aims to educate more than 10 million schoolchildren about drone technology. The skill development programmes offered by IG Drones are aimed at making India self-sufficient and ushering in a paradigm change that will see India emerge as the world’s next Drone Manufacturing Hub.

According to 6Wresearch, the Indian UAV market is expected to develop at a CAGR of 18% in revenue from 2017 to 23. Ongoing research is constantly bringing new facts and theories to the front, which shows us a better way to fight the virus. One significant aspect of research findings is air quality, as revealed by the recent research and development work of Mr Mansoor Ali and his team at AMFAH India.

    Schools are reopening, and with kids being unvaccinated, parents are fearing the worst. According to the survey conducted by community platform Local Circles, around 36% of parents who have children attending school said that classes do not have good air ventilation. 41% of them have children who have their lunch indoors, which, the survey noted, puts them at a higher risk of getting infected with Covid-19.

    India, February 1: As a responsible Indian citizen, I, Mohit Kamboj Bharatiya, think today half of the Indian youth is high on life. However, there is no reason to celebrate this fact because it does not mean they are enjoying their life to the fullest and making choices that they do not regret, but it means they are only enjoying their life by substance abuse. Adolescents think that it’s cool to be intoxicated in any way, so they make these choices and make their life miserable. In a country like India, where drugs are not legal, shockingly, it is simply available, and people tend to consume them and integrate them into their lives. Despite the obvious implications, they use it and overlook the reality that they are dealing with in their lives and jeopardize their future in the end.

    I, Mohit Kamboj Bharatiya, want to appeal to the Indian youth to ‘Say No to Drugs and Yes to Life’. Out of 66% of people engaged in such practices of selling or intaking such substances, more than half of them are the youth of our country, or we can say the potential human resource our country is expecting to be the future of the nation. It is a vicious cycle that affects not just one individual but the entire society, putting the nation’s future at stake.

    Drugs are the most dangerous type of abuse for the human body. They annihilate people from the inside out. When taken in high quantities or over an extended period, it begins to harm the organs and finally reaches the brain and can even be fatal. Drugs are sometimes used because they appear to be a temporary solution to a problem or bring solace by relaxing the senses, but this also demonstrates how harmful they can be to one’s health. Playing with the nervous system can never be helpful in the long run.

    Our country’s youth drug usage has created an alarming situation. People who use such narcotics jeopardize not only their future but also the future of our country. Cannabis, heroin, alcohol, and opium are among the most often abused drugs in the country. Modernization has twisted the individual against traditional methods of social sensibility by making them vulnerable to the environment in which they grow. The stresses and strains of modern life pull them away from their personality and force them to make decisions that are not beneficial for the long run.

    There are Indian laws to prohibit drug use to some extent, but in my opinion, there should be preventive measures to stop the youth of our country from indulging in drugs. And instead, I, Mohit Kamboj Bharatiya, the owner of a private conglomerate firm – KBJ Group, think young people should restrain themselves from making choices that harm their health and future. Drug abuse should be seen as an enemy of society because it’s eating up the youth. More and more people every passing day are getting indulged, therefore getting rid of it should become our priority. Through this medium, I would request the Indian youth to be brighter and put down the lighter.
