  • Influencerquipo Presents Rising Travel Content Creator of the Year – Aishwarya Borgaonkar

Mumbai, Aug 11: Turning a dream into reality!

    How did you start travelling?

When I was in 3rd grade, my dad took me on a road trip of the complete India tour. We covered the trip in a time span of around 45 days.

I had never been away from my home for this long before. But strangely, travelling felt like home.

I understood, at a very young age that this ‘traveling thingy’ of mine will eventually end up being a precious part of my life.

And I proved to be right. Once I passed college, there was never looking back. Hopping from one destination to another, meeting new people, discovering a variety of cultures, and hearing incredible stories from all over the country, gives me the joy that nothing else could ever replace.

How do you manage your profession and passion?

I’m a doctor by profession. To be completely honest, initially, it was very difficult to manage both my profession with my passion. Medical is a demanding profession and it only got harder with time.

Don’t get me wrong. It was all there – A stable and respected job. Good company around. Satisfaction from my folks. All the boxes were ticked.

But something was missing. The void of not being able to travel kept growing. I had to take a risky decision. And I took the leap.

I quit my 9 to 5 job but I didn’t leave my profession. I found a way to achieve balance. Now I only accept home visits to patients, according to my travel schedule, and save the money from the visits to support my monetary needs in exploring new destinations. So I guess, it’s a win-win.

    Your love for travel!

A thought used to emerge in my mind, which I kept ignoring for a while, but eventually couldn’t. A thought that – when you CAN explore the entire world and have experiences of a lifetime, then why the F would you still choose to stay wherever you are for the rest of your life?!

Every trip to a new destination has given me something invaluable. Only travellers can really relate to this.

I look at life, not in the terms of achievements but the terms of experiences. At the end of my journey here on earth, I want to proudly say that I didn’t stop exploring. That’s how I choose to live. That’s how I choose to die.

Our lives are limited but my love for traveling isn’t.

  • Those Fallen Breadcrumbs, It’s your own Story; written by Richa Kashyap fondly known as Richa Kumari

New Delhi, Aug 10: Richa, as the mere name itself, has originated from the Sanskrit word “RUC”, which means “To Praise”. Richa Kumari is a creative person and loves to do everything because of her incessant curiosity. She is a budding author, and ‘Those Fallen Breadcrumbs’ is her first beautiful tale. It is a fiction book and is published by Notion Press.

Richa Kumari is an electronics engineer from BIT (Birla Institute of Technology) Mesra and currently pursuing MBA from IIM (Indian Institute of Management) Raipur. Richa Kumari went to NASA (Kennedy Space Centre Florida) in 2013 and has brought laurels to the nation by participating in the Lunabotics Mining Robotics competition there. Richa is a Product Manager by profession at a London-based multinational currently and a painter by passion. In concurrence to this, Richa Kumari has added a remarkable achievement to her name by winning the title of Mrs. Asia Universe in 2020.

Her book, “Those fallen Breadcrumbs”, shows a mirror to society. It is actually for everyone who has forgotten the dreams of their lives and accepted the path shown by others as their realities. This is the story of a boy named Akshay who, after failing IITJEE, follows the standards of success set by society and, like all of us, is in a dilemma – was engineering really his dream? He is confused and is searching for answers about what he actually wants.

Clarity unfolds when he meets his college friend after three years. This book aims to change the mindset of society so that the younger generation can choose the path that makes them happy and not the path that makes others happy. It will retake us back to their memory lane when we were in similar confusion.

Yes, ‘Those Fallen Breadcrumbs’ is the book where every reader, be it a student or parent, can relate to some of its characters, scenes or plot. Hence the subtitle as ‘It’s your own Story’. This book will not teach you how bad things happen to good people but will tell how a group of engineering students coming from radically different backgrounds had turned and twisted their fates to make everything fall into place. Caged and chained by the societal norms, they ended up together following the most travelled path. Those fallen breadcrumbs were the façade of the correct direction, and they went on a crazy roller coaster ride of laughter, sorrow, fun, suspense and entertainment. Please read it to find out more available on Amazon, Flipkart.

  • AIIEA Welcomes Merchandise Export Target of US$ 400 Billion Announced By the Prime Minister for FY 2021-22

Mumbai, Aug 10: The All India Importers & Exporters Association (AIIEA) sincerely welcomes the merchandise export target of US$400 billion announced by the Hon’ble Prime Minister of India Shri Narendra Modi for the current financial year 2021-22 while virtually addressing the exporters and the stakeholders including all the State Governments, Export Promotion Councils, Exporter Associations, Commodity Boards, Industry Associations, Indian Missions and Consulates, on Aug 6, 2021.

Mr. B. Timothy, Vice President of AIIEA, stated that “The target envisages an increase of 37% over the last financial year and is certainly achievable given the fast pace of global economic recovery and untiring efforts being made by the Central Government despite challenges posed by the Covid-19”.

The Prime Minister’s vision is commendable and relevant as India celebrates the 75th year of Azadi this year with a renewed commitment to take India towards its past glory of being ‘DuniyakaBazaar” and “DuniyakaKarkhana”.

The Prime Minister rightly emphasized four areas where the stakeholders need to concentrate on achieving the target —competitive and qualitative manufacture, removing transport and logistics bottlenecks, cooperation of all governments with the Export Councils and searching for new international markets for Indian goods.

The Association appreciates the Prime Minister’s call to all the exporters, stakeholders, the State Governments and the Indian diaspora to be on the front foot to achieve this target and make India stronger.

The All India Importers & Exports Association expresses its gratitude to the Prime Minister for setting this achievable target and requests all the exporters and stakeholders to rise to the occasion in strengthening the Prime Minister’s vision in guiding our nation to attain greater heights.
