    Dr. AK Dwivedi, the author, expressed that there is limited literature available in the Hindi language regarding the principles of Sanatan Dharma in Bali, Indonesia. Therefore, he made an effort to present his and his family members’ experiences in the form of a book, titled as mentioned. The editor of the book, Mr. Anil Trivedi, played a crucial role in providing a tangible form to these experiences. The book’s release is timely, considering the ongoing discussions by some political leaders who are delving into unfounded debates about Sanatan Dharma for their narrow political gains. It is hoped that the book will serve as a mirror and provide wisdom to guide such individuals.

    The distinguished program also featured Dr. V.P. Singh, Dr. A.K. Singh, Mr. Mohini Mohan Mishra, Dr. Mridula Billaure, and other respected individuals. The NAMTECH campus in Gandhinagar, equipped with state-of-the-art vocational training laboratories and ITEES Skill Qualification (ISQ) programs, is poised to transform vocational education in India. Enrollment for the inaugural batch of ITI-certified and diploma engineer students for the International Professional Technologists Program (iPTP) commences in March 2024.

    ITEES Singapore – with a history of catalysing TVET excellence in states like Odisha, Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan, Assam, and more – recognises the imperative for quality training aligned with the tenets of Industry 4.0. Therefore, this collaboration also envisions the co-creation of institutions inspired by ITE Singapore’s renowned model, celebrated for TVET excellence worldwide. These institutions aim to elevate the ITI ecosystem, introducing innovative outreach models for an inclusive, nationwide impact.

    The MoU outlines a comprehensive roadmap, with ITEES Singapore being a strategic knowledge partner of NAMTECH in training NAMTECH staff and providing robust support for institutional project delivery with various state governments and credible private players. Simultaneously, NAMTECH will establish a dedicated project development unit, recruit and train subject matter experts, set up content creation labs, and meticulously craft world-class technicians’ programs aligned with the ISQ framework.

    This visionary alliance further envisages the establishment of a trainer development academy at the NAMTECH campus, promising a rich tapestry of industry-connect programs and action research initiatives. It serves as a dynamic platform for industry partners to actively contribute to academic and placement initiatives, shaping a workforce that meets the demands of a rapidly evolving industrial landscape.

Unfortunately some children are born with impaired hearing known as “Prelingual Deaf,” while others experience hearing loss after acquiring speech, referred to as “Postlingual deafness.” Early detection of deafness plays a crucial role in successfully addressing the challenges faced by such children. The Cochlear Implant mimics the normal function of the inner ear or cochlea, bypassing damaged areas in the hearing pathway to directly stimulate the cochlea hearing nerve. The process involves a sound processor that converts sound into digital information using microphones. This information is then received by an implant placed just under the skin, which sends a digital sound signal to the cochlea through an electrode. The hearing nerve fibers in the cochlea pick up these signals and transmit them to the brain, allowing for the interpretation of the signals as sound.

    Bank of Baroda Launches the NCMC RuPay Prepaid Card for Seamless Payments across Public Transport, Tolls, Parking and Shopping

    Mumbai (Maharashtra) [India], January 13: Bank of Baroda (Bank), one of India’s leading public sector banks, today  announced the launch of the National Common Mobility Card (NCMC) RuPay Reloadable Prepaid  Card. Aligned with the “One Nation, One Card” initiative, the Bank of Baroda NCMC RuPay Platinum  EMV chip-enabled Contactless Prepaid card is an inter-operable and multi-purpose transport card  that can be used across the country to pay for public transport on the Metro and upcoming use cases  for Bus, Train, Cab, Ferry, tolls and parking as well. The card can also be used for day-to-day ATM cash withdrawals and payments through POS and E-commerce. 

    The card can be availed by both customers and non-customers at Bank of Baroda branches, and will be immediately activated for real-time use. The card supports both online transactions as well as offline transactions at NCMC-specific terminals. The maximum online wallet balance allowed is Rs 1,00,000/- (Rs One Lakh only) and the maximum offline wallet balance allowed is Rs 2,000/- (Rs Two  Thousand only) at any point of time.  

    Shri Lal Singh, Executive Director, Bank of Baroda said, “The Bank of Baroda NCMC RuPay Prepaid card adds a new dimension to cashless, on-the-go transactions and has the potential to transform the public transport commuting experience for users. With multiple use cases, the card offers   enormous convenience, flexibility and security to cardholders.” 

    Cardholders can load/reload money in the online wallet through a dedicated portal provided by the Bank. The offline wallet can be reloaded at designated NCMC terminal operators at transit locations.  

    The card is accepted at all RuPay ecommerce and POS terminals and ATM machines. Customers will receive transaction notifications through SMS on their registered mobile number.
