Natural Ways to Regrow Thinning Hair

New Delhi (India), April 29: Excessive hair on your pillow or hairbrush can indicate hair loss. Alopecia, as it is clinically termed, is a frequent disease among both men and women nowadays. Genetics is one of the most common causes of receding hairline. Androgenetic alopecia, often known as male or female pattern baldness, is an inheritable condition that causes hair to weaken and fall out. Individuals begin to lose hair when the hair development cycle is disrupted. Hair shafts and hair follicles make up hair. Your hair is held together by follicles, and the hair shaft is the skin where hair development begins.

A few types of hair loss problems individuals may suffer from:

    • Anagen effluvium: This hair condition is associated with medical treatments like chemotherapy and radiation used for cancer treatment. It commonly affects your hair during the anagen phase with symptoms like diffuse hair loss and tapered fracture of hair shafts.
    • Telogen effluvium: Hair follicles rest during the telogen phase; but when the hair regrowth stops, it can lead to this hair fall condition. You may start noticing hair loss all over your scalp. It can turn out to be chronic if the condition lasts longer than six months. In this type of hair loss, you may start seeing clusters of hair on your hairbrush and in the shower.
    • Medication infused hair loss: Steroids, cancer treatments, anti-depressants, thyroid medications, cholesterol drugs, Parkinson’s disease, and high blood pressure can be reasons for hair loss. If you experience hair loss due to medications it is recommended you visit a doctor to get the condition under control.

Homeopathic remedies treat all of these medical disorders, thereby addressing the underlying cause of hair loss. Homeopathic medicine also considers mental as well as emotional issues such as stress and anxiety, which are frequently the root of hair loss. It targets the mind and gently restores mind-body equilibrium to treat the patient as a whole.

Health disorders are frequently the cause of thinning hair. Hair thinning is primarily caused by a hormonal imbalance in the body. Anaemia, thyroid illness, ovarian cysts (PCOS), and menopause are among the risk concerns. All of these medical conditions are cured by homeopathy, addressing the underlying cause of hair loss. Homoeopathy additionally takes into account emotional and mental disorders such as stress and anxiety, which are commonly the root cause of hair thinning.

Research has proven that homeopathy offers excellent hair treatment. A study published in the Journal of Recent Advances in Applied Sciences, 2015, found that homeopathy showed a positive result in the treatment of hair loss within 6 months.

Be it a result of a genetic problem, hormonal imbalances or lifestyle issues; homeopathy aims to treat hair loss from the root without any side effects. Due to homeopathy’s individualized and holistic approach, medicines are prescribed based on individual symptoms.

Thuja Orientalis offers promise for promoting overall scalp health, addressing many of the underlying causes of hair loss and thinning hair, and may even have the potential to promote hair growth.Silicea helps in providing the hair follicles with vital nutrition strengthens the hair and reduces dryness.

    Other Homeopathic remedies are:

Kali Carbonicum – This medicine treats hair thinning problems, reduces brittleness, and enhances hair growth on the scalp and eyebrows.

Fluoric acid – This Homeopathy medicine treats patchy hair loss and helps enhance hair regrowth in bald patches.

Sepia – It is one of the most effective medicines for treating hair fall during postpartum. It also effectively treats alopecia areata, the matting of the hair, and dry, white, and scaly dandruff.

Ignatia Amara – This medicine helps when people face sudden hair loss in patches after a stressful event.

Apart from using Homoeopathy remedies, people should eat a well-balanced diet rich in seasonal fruits and vegetables to keep healthy hair. • Softone launches Re-Hear, India’s first hearing aid with advanced features

Softone launches Re-Hear, India’s first hearing aid with advanced features

Surat (Gujarat) [India], April 29: Softone Speech and Hearing Clinics Private Limited, a leading hearing aid firm located in Surat, has unveiled India’s first ultra-modern hearing machine dubbed ‘Re-Hear’ with cutting-edge sophisticated capabilities.

Deafness is a severe issue that affects millions of people worldwide. Finding techniques to enhance one’s hearing is critical for individuals who suffer from this issue in order to live a normal life. People used to rely on conventional hearing aids, which had restrictions such as limited battery life and the inability to chat on the phone while using the device. However, there is now a new hearing gadget on the market called Re-Hear that has improved capabilities that may considerably enhance the lives of deaf individuals.

Re-Hear is a cutting-edge hearing aid that not only improves hearing but also connects to a phone for making calls and listening to music. This function distinguishes it from other standard hearing aids on the market. It is rechargeable, and its low price makes it available to anybody who needs it. This is great news for the deaf community, who have few alternatives owing to the expensive expense of hearing aids.

“About 6% of India’s population is deaf,” claimed Softone director Jalpesh Patel. “These people require a new hearing aid every five to six years and must see an audiologist on a regular basis.” They may configure the device themselves using the Re-Hear phone app, which eliminates the need for frequent visits to an audiologist.”

“Traditional hearing aids have limitations that cause the user additional problems.” For example, they enhance ambient noises, resulting in more hearing loss, and their batteries run out regularly, creating annoyance,” explained Softone’s director, Chetan Patel.

“Re-Hear overcomes these limitations by incorporating new features that transform even the most audible voice into a human voice, and the device can be programmed using any mobile phone without the use of a computer.” This function enables patients with hearing loss to get the assistance they need, regardless of their location or availability to audiologists.”

Softone reports that India has just 4,500 audiologists for a population of 140 crores. This scarcity makes it difficult for patients to get treatment, resulting in substantial financial, physical, and emotional distress. Re-Hear alleviates this discomfort by allowing patients to programme and test their hearing loss from the comfort of their own homes, removing the necessity for in-person visits to an audiologist.

Re-Hear is a market disruptor in the hearing aid industry, offering a contemporary hearing machine with sophisticated features at an inexpensive price.  Re-Hear is available for Rs. 19,999, a considerable decrease from its initial price of Rs. 75,000. Re-Hear is an effort that strives to enhance the lives of those who suffer from hearing loss by offering them an accessible, contemporary, and cheap solution to their difficulties.

  • GenWorks Health Organizes “Hrudhaya Siri” In Collaboration with Srinivas Hospital, Mukka, Mangalore

GenWorks Health Organizes “Hrudhaya Siri” In Collaboration with Srinivas Hospital, Mukka, Mangalore

GenWorks Health, and Srinivas Hospital tied up for an initiative called “Hrudhaya Siri” – A step to make healthcare accessible to rural areas. The initiative translates to “A Lead to Connect the Beat” and focuses on saving patients from cardiac problems by starting the treatment at the right time.

Mangalore (Karnataka) [India], April 29: GenWorks is one of the leading healthcare solution provider in India dedicated to building awareness by leveraging the technology available and offering affordable solutions across geographies. Along with this, GenWorks also has a homegrown connected care platform to enable digital health. Using the power of digitization, the company is focused on improving specialist access to the last mile. The company strongly believes that it can create a strong impact by connecting all patients to specialists at the need of the hour and leaves no stone unturned to make that happen.

“Hrudhaya Siri” – An initiative in collaboration with Srinivas Hospital enables a holistic healthcare delivery solution enabled by digital connectivity by moving healthcare to the point of care. An event was organized on 21st April, Monday at the Srinivas Institute of Medical Sciences and Research Centre for launching the Tele-ECG which is the product that will be placed in the rural areas surrounding Srinivas Hositpal in Mukka. Over 100 Tele-ECG machines are going to be set up in rural areas and they are expected to start working at the beginning of May 2023. Senior executives from GenWorks and Srinivas Hospital were present at the event.

Established in 2011, Srinivas Hospital has been serving in and around the Mukka region for more than a decade. The hospital’s motto is to do the most for serving deserving people at the right time so that the lives of patients can be saved. Most patients of the hospital come from a rural background where they are devoid of quality healthcare services. Many times, the hospital receives people at a later stage when they cannot be saved. This considerably increases mortality and morbidity. The aim of the hospital has always been to offer the best quality healthcare to people so that they can come out with the best possible results. In this regard, the hospital started contemplating all possible things that could have been done to achieve the goal. Srinivas Hospital collaborated with GenWorks to make sure this happens.

GenWorks helped Srinivas Hospital by offering technological solutions that were aimed at cutting down the time period between the onset of symptoms and initiation of treatment thereby decreasing the time lag and providing the initial care to people in rural areas. GenWorks and Srinivas Hospital have come up with a program called “Hrudhaya Siri” and the tagline means “A Lead to connect the beat. This is a model that helps in providing ECG machines to rural communities. Once the ECG is taken at the peripheral centre by the doctor, the ECG comes directly to the central hub of Srinivas Hospital. The entire cardiac team at Srinivas Hospital goes through the reading and immediately gives a response to the doctor working at the community level. This is how the life of a patient is saved immediately because the doctors get real-time input at the right time which then initiates the needed action.

Rasikiran, National Product Leader for Cardiology at GenWorks says, “GenWorks has always worked with an aim to bridge the gap in healthcare by making healthcare services more accessible and affordable. The company realizes that all metro cities have healthcare facilities available but the moment we step out and move towards rural areas, it becomes difficult to find basic healthcare facilities. With Tele ECG services, we can reach all rural areas surrounding Srinivas Hospital and save lives timely. We will be placing over 100 ECG machines in villages and as soon as the ECG is taken in these villages, it’s checked by the cardiologist team at Srinivas Hospital. If the case requires immediate consultation then the patient is rushed to the hospital and saved at the onset of the problem.”

GenWorks is working tirelessly to bridge the gap between disease onset and treatment initiation using technology. This is being done in metro cities and rural areas as well. The company has started Tele-ECG but also has wide scope for doing the same for many other health problems such as Breast Cancer, Cervical Cancer which GenWorks will start soon in the near future.

  • Blue Dart adopts innovative location technology what3words to enhance its deliveries for millions across India

Blue Dart adopts innovative location technology what3words to enhance its deliveries for millions across India

    • Blue Dart now uses global location technology what3words so retailers can offer their customers accurate deliveries to any 3m x 3m location in India
    • what3words is revolutionising the way the world communicates location, it has divided the world into a grid of 3m x 3m squares and given each square a unique combination of three random words: a what3words address
    • The partnership improves the whole delivery process, transforming the experience for Blue Dart’s retailers, couriers, and customers

Mumbai (Maharashtra) [India], April 29: Blue Dart, one of India’s leading logistics companies and part of Deutsche Post DHL Group’s DHL eCommerce Solutions division, has today announced its partnership with innovative location technology what3words. Now, retailers can add a what3words field for customers to use at checkout so Blue Dart couriers can make precise deliveries to any 3m x 3m square. Customers can also add their what3words address in the address section of the ‘My Blue Dart’ App, Blue Dart website and On the Move (OTM) platform enabling them to specify exactly where they want their deliveries to go, whether that’s a front door, specific apartment complex entrance, or a tucked-away side passage.

In India, addresses are as practice slotted under pin codes, which are associated with delivery post offices. These cover very broad areas with the chances of street names being duplicated or incorrect. This makes it difficult for customers to specify precisely where a delivery needs to be made, and for delivery drivers to find exactly where they need to go. These are issues what3words has been designed to solve.

It has divided the world into a grid of 3m x 3m squares and given each square a unique combination of three words: a what3words address. For example, ///swimmer.kindness.habits is the what3words location for Blue Dart Head Office in Andheri, Mumbai. It’s an easy way to find, share and navigate to precise locations, anywhere in the world.  The technology is also available offline and in 54 languages including 12 South Asian languages: Hindi, Marathi, Tamil, Telugu, Bengali, Kannada, Nepali, Urdu, Gujarati, Malayalam, Punjabi, and Odia.

Now, Blue Dart’s retail customers can add a what3words address at checkout so customers can specify exactly where they want their delivery to be made. Blue Dart customers can find their unique what3words address via the free what3words app – available for iOS and Android – or the online map at what3words.com. They can then save their what3words address in the My Blue Dart App, website or OTM, under the address section. Blue Dart’s customer and delivery platforms give customers power and flexibility over their deliveries, and the addition of what3words will provide another level of precision.

Ketan Kulkarni, Chief Commercial Officer, Blue Dart says, “Given the customer centricity values that Blue Dart carries, we partnered with what3words to stand true to our brand commitment of Customer Convenience and Delight. The three-word addressing will not only provide a seamless last mile delivery but will also increase delivery efficacy by reaching the precise location (within 3m of space) as specified by the customer. We believe that as the use of what3words grows, it will provide a unique way for us to deliver to specific locations, particularly in areas with informal addresses.”

Chris Sheldrick, Co-Founder and CEO of what3words adds: “what3words is the ideal technology for deliveries in a market like India where addressing is complex and often inaccurate. Our partnership with Blue Dart means that anyone, no matter how hard their home might be to find, can ensure their deliveries will go to the right place.”

Blue Dart offers secure and reliable delivery of consignments to over 55,400 locations in India. As part of Deutsche Post DHL Group’s DHL eCommerce Solutions division, Blue Dart accesses the largest and most comprehensive express and logistics network worldwide, covering over 220 countries and territories, and offers an entire spectrum of distribution services including air express, freight forwarding, supply chain solutions, and customs clearance.

what3words began operations in India in 2019 and is now available in many automotive navigation systems built by Mahindra, TVS Motor, Triumph Motorcycles, Tata Motors and Mercedes-Benz. Companies such as Imagine Online, Nirmalaya, TWF Flours, Evocus H2O & Dorje Teas have also adopted the technology so their customers can input what3words addresses into their checkouts for hassle-free deliveries. DriveU, one of India’s largest driver aggregator platforms, uses what3words so drivers and riders can save precise drop-off and pick-up locations. Many hosts on Airbnb and homestays in India use what3words to help visitors find their homes. Guests at the Royal Orchid & Regenta Hotels, Amã Stays & Trails by IHCL and The Fern Hotels & Resorts can find the what3words address of the exact property entrance on their booking confirmation. BVG Mems Dial 108 and Medulance use what3words to shorten incident response times in an emergency. Just like street addresses, what3words addresses are being displayed on website contact pages, event invites, and business cards, so people can find exact destinations with ease. And every day, what3words is used to arrange meet-ups in parks and on beaches and to share running, hiking, and sports match locations.
