Country Club Celebrates Republic Day with the Real Heroes, Launches Chalo Pattaya VIP International Membership Card

Announces Asia’s Biggest ‘Darlings Day Out 2026’

Mumbai (Maharashtra) [India], January 29: Country Club, Andheri West marked the spirit of India’s 77th Republic Day with a meaningful and inspiring celebration that beautifully reflected its philosophy of binding communities and contributing to nation building.

This year, the Republic Day celebration stood apart from conventional events. Instead of inviting celebrity figures, Country Club chose to honour the true heroes of the nation—children. The national flag was hoisted in the presence of 50 government school children, along with Country Club members and residents, symbolising hope, unity, and the promise of a brighter tomorrow.

The gathering brought together families, members, and young minds in an atmosphere filled with pride, unity, and respect for the Constitution of India. The presence of children during the flag hoisting served as a reminder that nation building is a collective effort—one that starts at the grassroots level and grows stronger through community bonding.

The event resonated strongly with the ideals of Dr. A P J Abul Kalam Sir, India’s former President and missile man who firmly believed that education is the foundation upon which a strong nation is built. His legacy echoed through the gathering, inspiring the young students to dream fearlessly and believe in their power to shape the nation. He was a practising Muslim, but he lived and led beyond religion. He strongly believed that India’s strength lies in unity, mutual respect, and harmony among all faiths. His closest influences included the Bhagavad Gita, the Quran, and the Bible — he often quoted from all three. As President, he never allowed religion to divide public life and always upheld the secular spirit of the Indian Constitution.

  • Bharat Nutrition and Lifestyle Classroom by Team Luke Goes Live on Republic Day, Free for All

Bharat Nutrition and Lifestyle Classroom by Team Luke Goes Live on Republic Day, Free for All

A first-of-its-kind virtual nutrition and lifestyle classroom session for children across India, created in support of PM Narendra Modi ji’s vision of a healthier Bharat.

Mumbai, January 27, 2026: Luke Coutinho, Foundational Medicine and Lifestyle Expert, and Team Luke announced the release of the Bharat Nutrition and Lifestyle Classroom on the 26th of January, 2026. This is an exclusive Republic Day special, with a structured classroom session designed for children across India, free of cost and accessible to every home, school and community.

Created in support of the Hon. Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi ji’s vision of a healthier Bharat, the classroom brings a simple belief to life: when lifestyle education reaches children at the grassroots level, it strengthens families, schools and the nation.

How it All Began: The Story Behind the Bharat Nutrition and Lifestyle Initiatives

Reflecting on the origin of the initiative, Luke, a Wellness Champion for the Hon. Prime Minister’s Fit India Movement, shares, “At the end of February 2025, after a long day of consults, I received a call from our Hon. Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi Ji’s office. It wasn’t routine; we were asked to create a Bharat-inspired dish and lifestyle guidelines aligned with the national vision for a healthier Bharat. In that moment, it didn’t feel like work. It was a responsibility.”

That call set in motion a clear national intent, amplified at NXT Conclave 2025, where Luke was invited by Shri Kartikeya Sharma, Hon. Member of the Rajya Sabha and Founder of the ITV Media Network, to create a Bharat-inspired dish and lifestyle framework aligned with the Hon. Prime Minister’s vision. The NXT Conclave brought together 20+ global leaders and changemakers, and Luke was honoured to be the only keynote speaker in the health and wellness category, addressing the importance of lifestyle and preventive care for our nation.

On 28th February 2025, the Bharat Dish and Lifestyle Plan was unveiled at the NXT Conclave and later shared widely in English and 5+ Indian languages. Built to be simple, familiar, and deeply rooted in Bharat, it included millet khichdi and sattu kadhi, traditional foods, daily lifestyle foundations, and 100+ recipes, anchored by the message: Made in India. Heal in India.

During the same time, Luke also had the opportunity to visit Anganwadi centres and witness Poshan Abhiyaan at the grassroots. The 24-language Poshan Tracker reinforced a truth the team carried forward: lasting health begins early, with children.

    From a Bharat-inspired Plan to a Nation-wide Education Mission

On 1st March 2025, Luke met our Hon. Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi ji. His message to Luke was clear: “If we are to build a healthier Bharat, then we must begin with children and start at the very grassroots, because they are our future.”

In March 2025, Team Luke expanded access further by launching the Bharat Nutrition and Lifestyle Plan, a free, downloadable offering designed for schools, principals, teachers, parents and institutions across India, helping school canteens, home kitchens, and tiffin boxes return to balance, nourishment and common sense. The initiative has since reached thousands, continuing to expand.

On 1st May 2025, Team Luke launched India’s first Bharat School Menu and Lifestyle Plan, a free monthly initiative offering balanced, child-friendly menus and simple lifestyle guidance in English and Hindi, designed to be simple, seasonal, and rooted in Indian food wisdom. The plan is inclusive, with vegan, vegetarian, and non-vegetarian options to support diverse Indian households.

Recognising that awareness without continuity fades, Team Luke then introduced free online weekend Bharat Nutrition and Lifestyle Classrooms in English and Hindi, designed not as lectures, but as conversations with children and caregivers. These sessions were primarily led by Luke and Priyanka Vithlani, Meal Analyst and Lifestyle as Foundational Medicine Expert at Team Luke.

A New Phase of the Bharat Nutrition and Lifestyle Classroom

This Republic Day marks a new phase of the Bharat Nutrition and Lifestyle Classroom, introducing India’s first structured, curriculum-based, virtual lifestyle education program for children. The special classroom session is built on five pillars: nutrition, exercise and movement, sleep, emotional wellness and yoga. From awareness to education. From sessions to structure. From inspiration to curriculum. It is free, culturally rooted and age-appropriate, focused on foundations, not quick fixes.

As Luke shares, reflecting the intent behind the classroom, “What you are seeing here is not a campaign or a project. It is a responsibility we felt deeply as Indians to contribute something meaningful to the future of our country.”

This initiative has been championed since its inception by Shri Kartikeya Sharma, Hon. Member of the Rajya Sabha and Founder of the ITV Media Network, and Dr. Aishwarya Pandit Sharma, Chairperson of the ITV Foundation, whose support and endorsement have played a pivotal role in taking this vision forward.

Availability: The Bharat Nutrition and Lifestyle Classroom is now available free of cost on Team Luke’s official YouTube channel.

  • Hyderabad Shatters Global Records: Google Developer Groups Hyderabad Set New Milestone with World’s Largest Agentic AI Hackathon

Hyderabad Shatters Global Records: Google Developer Groups Hyderabad Set New Milestone with World’s Largest Agentic AI Hackathon

Hyderabad (Telangana) [India], January 28: In a monumental display of technical prowess and sheer human endurance, Google Developer Groups (GDG) Hyderabad has officially etched its name into the history books. On December 21, 2025, the city of Hyderabad became the epicenter of the global AI revolution as “Agentathon” successfully broke the GUINNESS WORLD RECORDS™ for the Largest Agentic AI Hackathon ever conducted at Malla Reddy University. This became the first record in the field of Artificial Intelligence in Hyderabad.

Spanning a grueling 36 hours of continuous coding, Agentathon was more than a competition, it was a crucible of innovation. While the event drew an overwhelming 2,649 participants on the ground, filtered from over 12000+ participants, the record-breaking feat was solidified by 2,089 elite developers who survived the intense, high-pressure environment to deliver viable Agentic AI solutions. This remarkable figure shattered the previous world record of 1,941 members set earlier in 2025, marking a new era for India’s developer ecosystem.

At the helm of this historic achievement stands Aarshad Dinesh Devani, the Lead of GDG Hyderabad and the applicant of the Record, whose strategic vision and community-first approach catalyzed this massive undertaking.

“Beyond the code and the metrics, this event captured the true heartbeat of India’s tech scene,” said Aarshad Devani. “Watching developers push past exhaustion, skipping sleep and working through the night – was a powerful reminder of what humans are capable of when they’re driven by a mission. Our rules were tough, but the community was tougher. When you see someone travel over 1,000km just to be in the room, you realize this isn’t just a competition, it’s a movement. India isn’t just participating in the Agentic AI revolution, we’re ready to lead it!”

The event transformed Hyderabad into a national hub, attracting over 450 participants from states beyond Telangana and Andhra Pradesh. The demographic was a powerhouse of experience and potential, featuring:

    • 36% Seasoned Professionals bringing industry-grade expertise.
    • 64% Brilliant Engineering Students representing the next generation of tech leaders.

The success of Agentathon was fueled by the unwavering support of global tech titans and educational giants.

    • Google for Developers & Google Labs: Participants were armed with cutting-edge weaponry, including Google Cloud credits, Google Jules and Google Stitch tools.
    • EPAM Systems, Inc. (EPAM): Their vision and support for participants to create top-notch AI Products inspired teams to refine their products and scale their AI logic.
    • Malla Reddy Group of Institutions: As the Venue and Logistics Partner, their “immense and flawless support” provided the infrastructure necessary to sustain thousands of developers through a 36-hour marathon, including venue, internet, accommodation, and travel logistics.

The caliber of solutions built during the hackathon left the evaluators’ panel in awe. The projects were evaluated by a prestigious panel of Google Developer Experts (GDEs) – the crème de la crème of the Hyderabad technology ecosystem.

The most innovative teams walked away with prizes from a massive INR 1,60,000 cash pool, alongside an array of exclusive goodies, marking a rewarding end to a weekend that changed the landscape of Artificial Intelligence.

About Google Developer Groups (GDG) Hyderabad: GDG Hyderabad is one of the most vibrant developer communities in Hyderabad and part of Google Developer Groups globally, dedicated to fostering innovation through Google’s technology stack. Led by Aarshad Dinesh Devani, the group continues to bridge the gap between students and professionals, creating a platform for world-record-breaking achievements.

  • Union Budget 2026: Gujarat Inc. Calls for Reforms, Capex Push and Policies to Accelerate Sustainable Growth

Union Budget 2026: Gujarat Inc. Calls for Reforms, Capex Push and Policies to Accelerate Sustainable Growth

New Delhi [India], January 28: As the Union Budget 2026 approaches, Gujarat’s leading corporate voices have outlined clear expectations to sustain India’s growth momentum and advance the vision of a Viksit Bharat. Industry leaders across manufacturing, infrastructure, healthcare, agriculture and consulting emphasise the need for higher capital expenditure, policy continuity, ease of doing business and reforms that unlock scale and risk capital. From boosting infrastructure, housing and green construction to strengthening primary sectors, healthcare spending and regulatory simplification, Gujarat Inc. believes the Budget can play a catalytic role in accelerating investment, job creation, innovation and long-term, sustainable economic growth across the country.

    1. Gokul Jaykrishna, Chairman, FICCI – Gujarat and Joint MD & CEO, Asahi Songwon Colors Ltd

We’ve travelled far from the suffocating licence raj, under Prime Minister Modi ji’s decisive push, growth roared back, catapulting us amongst world’s top 4 economies. The Indian engine is now humming at 7%. Yet settling at 5 trillion dollars feels modest. True parity with giants demands vaulting to ten trillion, fast. India needs two things, Scale and Risk Capital, to build an ecosystem that ignites animal spirits. PM gave the runway; now tax breaks and capex fuel must ignite takeoff, turning potential into powerhouse scale to realize India’s true potential.

    Key tasks:

    • Increase infra capex, link it to mega corridors.
    • Widen PLI schemes for electronics, drones, EVs.
    • Cut long-term gains tax, smooth FDI windows to compete with US and China, and attract more risk capital.

     2. Rajiv Gandhi, Founder, MD & CEO, Hester Biosciences Ltd and President AMA

    Rajiv Gandhi

In stable economies, annual budgets do not witness wide variations. The changes are largely aimed at refining ongoing reforms and maintaining continuity in policy direction. So is the case with India. From the upcoming Budget, I would particularly like to see enhanced public expenditure towards agriculture, animal husbandry and infrastructure creation. Strengthening the primary sector can provide a strong foundation for agricultural & industrial growth, leading to a boost to MSMEs. This, in turn, would generate employment, raise disposable incomes, stimulate consumption and ultimately strengthen domestic demand, creating a cycle of sustainable economic growth.

    3. Mohit Saboo, CFO & Director, BigBloc Construction Ltd

We view Union Budget 2026 as a pivotal opportunity to accelerate India’s infrastructure and housing growth through sustainable construction. Higher capital allocation for housing, urban development and green infrastructure can significantly boost demand for innovative building materials. We expect incentives such as higher FSI for projects using AAC blocks and panels, tax benefits for green materials, and phased curbs on polluting red bricks to encourage cleaner alternatives. Continued PMAY support, faster approvals for infrastructure projects, and a targeted liquidity push for real estate will further aid sector momentum. Prioritising sustainable urban infrastructure, logistics and railways can drive job creation while supporting ESG-compliant, efficient construction solutions.

    4. Nrupesh Shah, Founder and Chairman, Nrups Consultants LLP

To achieve the vision of Viksit Bharat (by 2047) with an economy size of US$ 30 trillion per capita income US$ 18,000, must unleash series of bold economic reforms. Restricting to three major suggestions:

    i) Ease of Doing Business:

While several steps have been taken, businesses still require much greater simplification in regulatory compliances. Transformative reforms are needed across Factories Act, GST, Income Tax, Company Law, SEBI, and listing regulations to truly match Southeast Asian economies and China.

      ii) Massive Divestment:

As announced in Budget 23, the government should divest majority stakes in non-strategic PSUs, releasing resources to rationalize taxation and support SMEs, making Indian industry globally competitive.

    iii) Unleashing Land Reforms:

Land acquisition remains a major bottleneck—complex, contentious, and time-consuming. Amid global geopolitical, AI, and economic challenges, above reforms will revive India’s entrepreneurial spirit.

    5. Amarendra Kumar Gupta, CFO, Sterling Hospitals

Union Budget 2026: Gujarat Inc. Calls for Reforms, Capex Push and Policies to Accelerate Sustainable Growth-PNN

    Amarendra Kumar Gupta

“Ahead of the Union Budget, a higher allocation for public healthcare, aligned with the National Health Policy target of 2.5% of GDP, will strengthen care delivery and ease operational pressures. Increased outlay for Ayushman Bharat can help streamline reimbursements and improve system efficiency. Incentives for private hospitals, indigenous medical devices, AI-enabled healthcare, and faster clearances for domestic drug and vaccine development will support capacity building, reduce costs, and improve affordability for patients across the country.”

  • Can Technology Be Sustainable? Youth Delegates Discuss and Decide at MiniCOP30

Can Technology Be Sustainable? Youth Delegates Discuss and Decide at MiniCOP30

Jaipur (Rajasthan) [India], January 28: Every new phone, laptop, or app update promises convenience and progress. But very rarely do we stop to ask where these devices come from, where they end up, and who bears the environmental and social cost of our digital habits. From rising e-waste and unsustainable mining to the growing energy footprint of Artificial Intelligence, the impact of technology today extends far beyond our screens.

It is this question that MiniCOP30, an initiative by the Bajaj Foundation, set out to explore.

Notably, the Mini-COP stood out as India’s first localised youth-focused climate simulation dedicated entirely to the intersection of electronic waste and artificial intelligence, offering a first-of-its-kind space for young leaders to shift the conversation from awareness to action.

MiniCOP30 is a student simulation inspired by the Conference of the Parties (COP) model, designed to mirror how global climate negotiations take place, while giving young people the space to dialogue, negotiate, and collectively shape solutions around sustainability and justice.

Through discussion and dialogue, youth delegates adopted a collective resolution calling for immediate action on the environmental and social impact of electronics and artificial intelligence. Participants agreed that circularity must sit at the heart of the electronics lifecycle, with products designed for durability, repair, reuse, and safe recycling. Students stressed that countries must take responsibility for the electronic waste they generate, strengthening domestic recycling systems instead of exporting waste to vulnerable regions.

A key focus of the Mini-COP was the protection and formalisation of informal e-waste workers. Delegates called for access to training, healthcare, fair wages, legal aid, and alternative livelihoods for those working in unsafe and unregulated conditions. They also urged greater transparency and accountability from mining and electronics corporations including public disclosure of environmental and social impacts and responsibility for ecological restoration.

Can Technology Be Sustainable? Youth Delegates Discuss and Decide at MiniCOP30-PNN

Discussions also centred on Responsible Artificial Intelligence. Students called for the adoption of energy-efficient, low-carbon AI practices, transparent AI policies, protection of indigenous and marginalised communities, and meaningful inclusion of youth in AI governance and decision-making.

Reflecting on the experience, a student delegate shared, “It’s a huge honour to be here, to discuss these topics and hear different viewpoints on how these issues are developing in the countries we represent.” Another participant added that “ecological travesty is a huge issue in today’s everyday life,” and expressed excitement about discussing how these challenges can be addressed.

Educators echoed the optimism in the room. A teacher from Maharani Gayatri Devi Girls’ School, Jaipur, noted, “The energy and enthusiasm of the participants were incredible. Students presented thoughtful ideas on tackling e-waste, a major threat not just to India as a fast-developing nation, but to developed countries worldwide. These young ambassadors and global citizens give me hope that real solutions are possible.”

The MiniCOP30 concluded with a shared belief that technology, sustainability, and justice must move forward together, and that governments, industry, and young people all have a role to play in shaping a more responsible future.
