  • Alieus Hedge Fund to Exit India Investors to Get Full Refund Amid Compliance Challenges

Alieus Hedge Fund to Exit India Investors to Get Full Refund Amid Compliance Challenges

New Delhi [India], April 21: Alieus Hedge Fund has announced its formal exit from the Indian market, citing severe compliance and regulatory issues, including bank account freezes, software hacks, and USDT-related fraud involving certain individuals. This step has been taken in alignment with India’s financial policies and Reserve Bank of India (RBI) regulations, reinforcing the fund’s commitment to global compliance and ethical standards.

Emily Davis, Chief Financial Officer of Alieus Hedge Fund, confirmed:

“All Indian investors will receive full refunds within a 180-day period. The total refund amount will be $50 million USD, covering assets under management, including stocks, cryptocurrencies, and real estate. Refunds will be processed in stages to ensure clarity and transparency amid current global market conditions.”

The fund’s compliance and governance body has collectively supported the structured closure of its India operations. Alieus Hedge Fund emphasized it will re-enter the Indian market only when a robust and investor-protective regulatory framework is in place.

Despite consistent growth and rising investor participation in India, the firm has chosen to place operations on hold out of respect for sovereign regulations, while continuing its thriving operations in the UK, USA, Australia, and other European nations, under the supervision of Luxembourg RAIF and the Cayman Islands Monetary Authority (CIMA).

As part of its investor-first approach, David Moreau, Chief Investment Officer, announced:

“We will be converting all Indian client equity into our proprietary cryptocurrency, Alieus Coin 2.0 (AHF 2), at a pre-ICO rate of $1 USD per token. Our earlier version, Alieus Coin 1.0 (AHF 1), was completely sold out at $108 USD. AHF 2 will be listed on global exchanges on our first anniversary—September 7, 2025—at a minimum of $2 USD, with an expected price of at least $110 USD over the next three years.”

This early allocation of AHF 2 is being made available exclusively to Indian clients who stood by the fund during its early phases. It offers them a significant opportunity to exit at a premium post-listing.

The timeline for refund and token conversion has also been influenced by current global market downturns, which have led to a 50% decline in portfolio valuations. The fund confirmed that all obligations will be honored through phased disbursements.

Ashish Jain, Founder & CMD of Alieus Hedge Fund, remarked:

“The most exciting part is that Alieus Coin 2.0 will be the first hedge fund-backed cryptocurrency in the world. We are merging traditional investment strength with blockchain transparency and setting a new benchmark globally.”

Alieus Coin 2.0 (AHF 2) marks a groundbreaking step as the world’s first hedge fund cryptocurrency token.

The firm has also initiated legal proceedings against individuals responsible for misconduct, affirming its ongoing commitment to integrity, compliance, and investor security.

  • Breaking Barriers: Puja Jain Makes History as First Indian to Win Coffee Journalism Award

Breaking Barriers: Puja Jain Makes History as First Indian to Win Coffee Journalism Award

Bengaluru (Karnataka) [India], April 21: Puja Jain, Founder of Curly Brew, was honored with the Excellence in Nepal Coffee Journalism & Storytelling Award, becoming the first Indian to receive this prestigious recognition. The award was presented in acknowledgment of her unwavering commitment to spotlighting the people, stories, and soul behind Nepal’s emerging coffee culture.

The honor marks not only a personal milestone for Ms. Jain but also a wider acknowledgment of the vital role storytelling plays in shaping and uplifting niche industries like specialty coffee.

Brewing Dreams from the Hills of Nepal

Having spent her childhood in the Terai region of Nepal, Puja Jain shared a deep-rooted connection with Nepal—one that eventually drew her back to the country, not as a tourist, but as a solo traveler in search of purpose and stories. “There was a quiet voice within me urging me to return,” says Jain. “To reconnect with the land, the people, and a part of myself I had left behind.”

It was during this journey, amidst the serene mountains and the warm hospitality of the people, that Jain discovered a hidden cultural asset — Nepal’s high-altitude, organic coffee farms, quietly brewing a revolution.

Regions such as Gulmi, Palpa, Gorkha, and Sindhupalchok, while celebrated for their beauty, are lesser known for their unique coffee terroirs. Here, farmers work with dedication and hope, cultivating beans with care and a vision for global recognition. Jain realized these voices and stories needed to be heard, not just locally, but globally.

    From Notes to a Movement

Armed with nothing more than a phone, a notebook, and a storyteller’s soul, Jain began capturing the heartbeat of Nepal’s coffee scene — from roadside cafés in Pokhara to remote farms nestled in the hills of Gorkha. Her storytelling transcended conventional marketing; it was raw, real, and resonant.

Through Curly Brew, a pioneering digital storytelling and coffee-focused media platform, Jain began to amplify these narratives. She engaged deeply with every part of the value chain — farmers, roasters, baristas, and consumers — turning personal encounters into global conversations about sustainability, craftsmanship, and community.

“It wasn’t just about content,” she says. “It was about honoring every person behind the bean, every story behind the cup.”

A Voice for the Voiceless in the Coffee World

Jain’s work took her from cafés and academies in Kathmandu to conversations with young baristas and entrepreneurs striving for excellence amid limited resources. Her content not only brought attention to their challenges but also celebrated their resilience and innovation.

In her words, “Nepal’s coffee culture isn’t just growing — it’s thriving with heart and hope.”

    Coffee Journalism Award

A Moment of Recognition, A Lifetime of Purpose

Receiving the Excellence in Coffee Journalism & Storytelling Award is a deeply emotional milestone for Jain.

“This recognition belongs to every farmer who welcomed me into their world, every cup that carried a legacy, and every moment that brewed a connection to a land I now call home.”

Standing on the international stage, Jain reflected on her journey — one that began with a backpack and a dream, and has evolved into a global platform for advocacy and impact.

Her message to aspiring storytellers and dreamers is clear:
“Trust your inner voice. It may lead you back to your roots, your reason, and your revolution.”
