  • “Ghanikhama, Welcome to the grand show of e-commerce knowledge.” – This is how Prashant Gandhi greets his students

Ahmedabad (Gujarat) [India], June 4: ‘GhaniKhama,’ which translates to welcome, aspires to educate, mentor, and motivate everyone who wants to get into online business.

It won’t be an exaggeration to say that business flows in the veins of this young Marwari from Gujarat. Obviously!

“There’s nothing too technical, too serious or difficult about online selling. A 16-year-old or a 60-year-old, stay at home mother or working women, newbie or a seasoned entrepreneur- all can do and flourish in the online market. You just need some guidance, some motivation and a little push and that’s exactly what GaniKhama does,” says a beaming Prashant, the man behind the show – the founder and CEO of GhaniKhama.

So how does GhaniKhama do this?

“We believe that the basics form the foundation of any knowledge, and hence we begin with the ABC of E-commerce. All the aspirants are educated such that they learn to do online business from scratch. Our e-book has all the theoretical and logical information about the online business, including some case studies.” The e-book has been written by Prashant Gandhi and Aanchal Hingle, who share an experience of over a decade.

Then there are live video training sessions that illustrate the theory and get the aspirants into practical learning mode. All the aspirants are given a road map to establish their business, and they take steps under the mentorship of Prashant. They report about their daily task flow and update how their objectives are being pursued in accordance with the set road map.

Whenever they face a problem, they discuss it in video meetings. This not only gets a solution but also spreads the knowledge to other students of the batch. In addition, each student discusses the progress of his endeavour.

Although Prashant believes that the aspirants should figure out the ‘whats ‘and ‘hows’ and ‘wheres’ of their business on their own because that is how they will master the art, he helps them if they need his support.

Traveller at heart, talkative and jolly, Prashant left his top job in an Ecommerce giant to pursue his own business. Famous as Ghumakkar Gandhi amongst his peers, he loves travelling to historical places, caves, mountains, and MARKETS!

From an E-commerce professional to an entrepreneur and now a mentor, Prashant’s journey is as interesting as navigating through the products on an online portal.

He began his stint with Ecommerce in 2013 and has explored a variety of categories. Living in the commercial hub – Ahmedabad, procurement was easy. Though E-Commerce was in its nascent stage in India, the bylanes of Gujarat were rife with opportunities for smart sellers.

With GaniKhama, he had tapped the nerves of the online market and knew where the bull’s eye was and hit right there with élan beginning with gifts, jewellery, and other merchandise, all of which need nuances in photography and inventory management. In just one year, they reached seven figures! Presently the company has a catalogue of over 8000 listings across the different E-commerce platforms. Amazon, Meesho, Flipkart, he takes these names as frequently as he breathes! Ask him about the most profound or technical question about these, and he will have the correct answer!

“The figures I have reached were after a lot of research, failures, some luck and a lot of hard work,” says Prashant.

Prashant kept sailing across the sea of e-commerce, and he made several friends on the way.

A typical Gujarati believes that business is not just about how you sell things as much as it is about how you can sell yourself. He built a persona and an identity, open to discuss his success, secrets, failures, and strategies. Quite unknowingly, people who heard him understood that this man is different. His expertise and knowledge are contagious, and his willingness to spread both make GaniKhama a great learning place for online marketing.

He began training one on one without expecting anything in return and GaniKhama came into being. He knew how the beginners struggle and how to guide them. There is one thing called educating and mentoring; GaniKhama goes beyond that. They hold the hands of their students until they hit the goal.

There is a chunk of young inexperienced, and even experienced entrepreneurs getting into the online selling bandwagon. They are pumped up, hopeful, and their entrepreneur wings are eager to flap in the online air. But, unfortunately, many invest money, time, and effort but end up with losses. Prashant knows what mistakes the beginners make, thanks to his decade-old experience.

The uniqueness in Prashant’s method is, he never puts financial pressure on anyone. Instead, he asks the person, what amount can you invest at ease? All the plans right from selecting products, procurement, and scaling up are devised to match the person’s comfort.

While consultants may give you advice and help with problems, Prashant lets his students face the blockages and then brainstorm for solutions. He helps them where they struggle but letting them free in the business field helps them understand the ‘hows’ and ‘whats’ of business.

“The best business lessons are learnt while rummaging around the market. No videos no Zoom sessions can teach you that. Online selling is different from traditional selling. There are some intricacies, challenges, and principles that form the ground rules of E-commerce. While we help them with the science of business with whatever knowledge we have, we want them to learn the logic and develop the art of business. Isn’t business an art too?” he says.

The digital and online market is full of noise. For a seller to make his voice heard, he has to channelize his aspirations and strength in the correct direction. Prashant taps the pulse of his students and understands that each of them is unique. He knows how to make each one heard, rise, and thrive in the giant E-commerce industry, initially with his support and later alone; though he promises that his sessions may last a few weeks, but his hand holding is for a lifetime.

We asked him, “Do you intend to make mentoring your full-time profession?” He says, “No! Mentoring will never be my main profession. It is a part of GaniKhama, as well as my hobby and passion. For us, our students are our investment and their success will make us rich. It’s not for my pocket but for my heart. I see the beginner me in each of them.”

If you are thinking about launching your business online, you know that Prashant is your go-to person.

  • VOCABMETRY: The most effective methods of being affluent in vocabulary by Rahul Parashar

Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh) [India], June 01: We all have at one point pulled out our dictionaries after reading tweets or listening to speeches of erudite scholars like Shashi Tharoor. However, cramming a dictionary seems like a humongous task for any individual. Rahul Parashar was on a similar journey of developing his vocabulary when he came across the idea of Vocabmetry. He wanted a mathematical substratum through which words can flow like an algebraic equation. By applying his ideas and imaginations, he found some of the most unique and eccentric methods for learning English words. He has broken down over 5,500 words into different parts and named them as three different coordinates and associated them with various comic characters. In these 5,500 words, each word has its own short story which simplifies the process of learning. This method of learning is so unique that Rahul even attained a patent for the same.

With the growing competition in 21st Century through exams like UPSE, CLAT, CAT, GRE, etc. a good command of English along with all the other subjects is a must. Considering the workload of a student prepping for competitive exams, they have to work smart and not hard. This is where Rahul brings in Vocabmetry. One can very easily forget the meaning of a word after reading it from a dictionary in a few days, but when learning a word from Vocabmetry with 110 comic characters and three coordinates, it gets impregnated in the mind of learners.

Rahul while sharing his experience of teaching over 600 students in Bhopal and Delhi felt proud. Many of his students have bagged awards by learning through Vocabmetry. He also shared that one of his youngest students Anmol of KG II was able to pick up so many English words that he has gone into Limca Book of records.

He believes that in the current environment of education, no one can escape from English. If one has to acquire a skill for their lifetime it is only logical that they should be good at the same. Thus, intervention at a ground level is required and for the same Rahul is in the process of tying up with over 10 schools of the city to incorporate Vocabmetry in their syllabus.

Rahul loved mathematics as a student and when he was preparing for the exam of Charted Accountancy, he applied his formulas to understand words. Now that he has successfully done it for the words in English, he plans to simplify concepts of science by his unconventional methods. It will be very interesting to see what Rahul Parashar will bring to us in the future next.

  • INCOMET: Proving to be one of the best Stock Market trainers in India by helping its students earn Rs 1 – Rs 2 lakh per month

Mumbai (Maharashtra) [India], May 18: Incomet recently became the country’s top stock market training firm. A great feat for the startup, no doubt, but it also rings a question in our minds.

How did Incomet leave behind so many giants? There are tons of firms with big backers and decades worth of experience, how did they lose the number 1 spot?

Well, to find our answers we looked at how Incomet functions and what sets their learning environment apart. We also talked to a student whose life has taken a turn since he joined Incomet.

While looking at their learning techniques, we found that their approach is majorly hands-on.

The platform has a set of trainers and mentors who have been brought on board after rigorous interviews. These trainers have proved their mettle in the stock market and aren’t preparing their students for some written examination. They are imparting knowledge that made them successful.

Instead of just teaching theories that were written decades ago, Incomet has developed unique learning material. When they were developing their teaching content they welcomed a team of 10 entrepreneurs, stock market trainers and investors to the table who helped develop a course that was based on real-life experiences.

To have such practical knowledge be presented so readily benefits the students greatly. They don’t have to mug down theories and then spend hours trying to figure out how these theories pan out in real life. Instead, they are already taught how the stock market will play out, what problems they might encounter and their solutions. Such a course gives the students all the necessary information in a short amount of time.

Further, Incomet gives its students the chance to learn about the stock market in real-time and interact with it. One can only become good at analysing the market when one is actively a part of it. Where other training firms give maybe a week or two of trading opportunities, Incomet dedicates three months of its program for live trading. The students are given reigns to trade using the account provided by Incomet. There they learn how to actually navigate through the market and at the end of the three months they come out as polished stock market traders.

Even though we took a deep look at Incomet’s learning environment, we would be breaking their rule if we didn’t provide any real-life input.

To back up our findings we talked to one of Incomet’s students.

The student Arpan Verma from Uttar Pradesh happily told us about his experience.

The boy got his early education in the town of Atrauli and hails from a business family. Given his family’s background, he had a good understanding of money from the start and did his senior secondary schooling in the commerce stream.

The stock market comes on the radar of anyone who is even a little interested in business. He too was fascinated about the stock market but didn’t dip his feet in because he couldn’t get satisfactory knowledge from anywhere. People he talked to, the so-called educational videos everywhere on the internet, all gave him half-baked answers.

However, once he stumbled upon an ad for Incomet on Instagram and seeing good reviews decided to give it a shot.

Of his experience, he tells us, “My mentor in the Incomet was so knowledgeable about the subject, that he taught us with the same ease with which one learns about addition. Even though we were dealing with complex matters in the course, he broke it down so simply we were never intimidated. Success in the stock market felt achievable with his teachings. He used to teach us concepts that he had himself used.”

“After joining Incomet my life changed for the better. Whatever money I was making before, it has more than doubled since I’ve been a part of Incomet. My family too is very happy that I had made the decision to join Incomet. Today I am able to handle my and my family’s expenses all thanks to Incomet. I am always going to be thankful to  Kanishk sir, Karan sir and the entire team at Incomet that made such a great thing happen.”

  • COVID Impacted UPSC Aspirants demand Compensatory Attempt

New Delhi [India], May 05: The Civil Services Exam, being the toughest in the country, not only requires physical means to prepare but also requires an environment conducive to mental health so that the candidates can attend to their preparation with 100 percent possible concentration. Covid has affected the mental health of many candidates.

Aspirants have faced various hindrances in preparation and appearing in the exams.  The country and its several areas suffered a complete shutdown on account of the Covid 19 pandemic. Many candidates have faced personal, physical, psychological, emotional, and financial hindrances. Few of them are acting as Covid warriors who have had to remain in long periods of isolation. Aspirants include several Covid Warriors namely Dr. Shailaja and Dr. Vidya who were treating the Covid patients, and persons engaged in essential services, Ajay Kumar who works in Police Department gave his services during the pandemic, these aspirants have worked incessantly and exhausted themselves in the service of the nation and its people.

People in essential services had to face overwhelming hardship as many of them could not obtain leave for the reason of pandemic. With many other personnel on leave, they had to take extra responsibility. They were completely cut off from the competitive environment and were unable to focus. Candidates also include several candidates who reside in remotest areas and far away from their respective centers and these remote areas hardly have proper access to the internet and materials for study.

In the northeastern areas of India, the connectivity of the internet is not the same as in the urban areas, and therefore, candidates hailing from the northeast region have suffered a serious setback in preparation for the CSE. Married women and working women had the extra burden of managing household chores, family, children, and their office work. Certain candidates also suffered huge economic losses. There are UPSC aspirants whose family members contracted Covid 19 infection and survived, some suffered through bereavement of near and dear ones, an aspirant Nishant Tiwari from Uttar Pradesh lost his parents to Covid. Since the preparations are simultaneous for the Civil Services Preliminary and Civil Services Mains, there are candidates, who have cleared the prelims despite the odds. However, they are capable of a better shot at their last attempt as the CSE involves CSM as well.

These aspirants are not seeking to set aside the very conduct of the exams, but are only praying that because of the extraordinary, force majeure like situation, which was beyond the control of any of the candidates one additional attempt may be provided to them for appearing in the subject examinations.
