We cannot afford to overlook education, especially for girls—every child has the right to learn,” said Om Prakash Rajbhar, Hon’ble Minister of Panchayati Raj, Uttar Pradesh, at a programme in Lucknow, organized by the Aspirational Bharat Collaborative (Piramal Foundation) in partnership with the Department of Panchayati Raj, Uttar Pradesh.

As part of the event, Rajbhar released the coffee table book Viksit Panchayat – Viksit Bharat, which showcases inspiring stories of 28 women sarpanches from Uttar Pradesh.
