Mumbai (Maharashtra) [India], May 26: Starting today, the daily series ‘Shubh Shagun’ will now be airing at a new time slot- Monday to Saturday at 7:30 PM on Dangal TV. The show encapsulates the sibling love of the protagonists and the extremes to which one can go to protect their interests.

The show is at an intriguing and exciting phase, portraying how the protagonists- Shubh and Shagun, are leaving no stones unturned in their quest to ensure the well-being of their siblings.

‘Shubh has boundless love for his sister Navya, and he can go to great lengths to ensure her happiness because she is the only family he has for him. Spoilt by the immense love of her brother, Navya believes that anything is achievable in the world. Knowing that Shubh would accede to her demands and will do all in his capacity to get her married to Yug, she exploits his vulnerability. Shubh becomes determined to get her married to Yug, Shagun’s brother. Nevertheless, Shagun doesn’t want that as she feels that this would be an unusual relationship where Yug may be treated as a commodity.  She strives to get him married to someone else. Driven by his earnest love for his sister, Shubh makes it difficult for Shagun to protect her brother. The upcoming episodes will feature twists and turn wherein both the protagonists try their best to achieve their goal

Character Sketch:

Shubh Jaiswal (played by Shehzada Dhami):

Shubh was 14 years old when his parents died in a car accident. Shubh was sent to a hostel, and his younger sister Navya who was just six years old was sent to another hostel. As soon as Shubh turned eighteen, he left the hostel and returned home with his sister. He joined the company and took the position of director of the company in place of his father. Everyone questioned his ability, but Shubh proved himself worthy of that post. He has become a cold and tough man now. He only loves his sister Navya & does not allow anyone to come close to him, especially his other family members. He hates his uncles because they are mean and greedy for money for him. In business, he believes that sometimes too much honesty also harms. He speaks very little by reasoning and understanding. He is a big name in the business world now.

Shagun Shinde (played by Krishna Mukherjee):

Shagun is a 25years old girl who could not study much because of the financial issues in her life. She lost her parents in an accident. Yug is her brother, and she loves him dearly. She wants to keep him happy in every possible way and cares for him like a mother. She has other family members too in her life, and they all love her a lot. She lives with her extended family members in a Mumbai Chawl house. They all are happy going family who supports each other in every situation.

Navya Jaiswal (played by Kajol Srivastava):

Navya is a 21 years old college going, girl. She is brought up by her brother, who pampers her a lot. She is a spoiled brat who flaunts her money wherever she goes. While she does not value anyone, she loves and respects her brother. She hates her other family members like Shubh.

Yug Shinde (played by Mouhit Joshi):

Yug is a 24 years old mechanical engineering graduate. He lives with his extended family members. He loves his sister a lot and can do anything to keep her happy. Giving interviews for a job, he takes care of his cousins.

May 25: Making a new wave in the music scene is JoaQimein Martin, born November 22, 2000, and better known by his stage name Kxng Tres. The 22-year-old is an American singer-songwriter who is filled with a love for music and the love of his life while being fearless in showing it to the world!

Music is a part of his soul, and Martin proves it from his very childhood days. Ever since he was little, he has always wanted to sing, dance, and create his own music. As a child, he grew up listening to artists such as Michael Jackson, The Temptations, New Edition, Ne-Yo, Usher, Big Time Rush and many more, giving him the inspiration to do more.

However, Martin’s love for music pushed him to start singing with the Clear Creek Missionary Baptist Church Mass Choir. Even at such a young age, he was talented enough to lead songs in the choir, such as “Walk Like Jesus”, “God Is On My Side”, “Searching”, and “Still Waters”.

Singing at his church for a few years gave him that much-needed push in the right direction of music as he decided that he should share his talents with the world. He set foot into this world with the help of his producer and good friend Jacob Green, aka SIR JAY, and Martin decided to kick-start with two songs just to test the waters and see if there were people in the world who would actually want to listen to what he had to say. The songs he covered were “Rock Wit’cha” by Bobby Brown and “Back At One” by Brian McKnight.

When the cover songs were released into the world, and people heard them, all of them absolutely fell in love with his talents. His fans encouraged him to create music of his own. Hence, after much pondering and praying to find his next path into the music world, he decided to give his fans what they asked for. He was going to do an original song.

On September 14, 2020, Martin wrote his first song with the help of his girlfriend, Aaliyah. He titled it “Me and You”. This much-acclaimed song is about his heart being full of love for his significant other, Aaliyah. The song talks about their tale of love for each other which spans the time of three-plus years, and how it has been nothing but happiness. Just as told, the young artist is in love, and he isn’t afraid to admit it.

On October 28, 2020, Martin released the special song to the world. “Me and You” did pretty decent numbers, although Martin knew he could do better. So, he decided to write a new single titled “Closer”. “Closer” is Martin’s personal favorite. This time he poured his entire heart and soul into the song.

Taking a different route, unlike “Me and You”, “Closer” had a slow, sexy and seductive vibe to it. Martin expresses his want and desire to get CLOSER to his lover in the song. The song often has his lover asking him, “What can I do for you?”. He simply responds by saying, “It’s nothing major. Just let me get closer to you.”

On March 16, 2021, “Closer” was released to the world. The fan reaction to “Closer” was amazing. It was pretty clear that Martin had made his turn around and was on the way to paving his own success in music. After this, on September 22, 2021, Martin released another single, a smooth guitar mix of his first song, “Me and You (Smooth Guitar Mix)”.

However, unlike the original score, the mix version, this version was slower and had a more blues feel to it. It opened up with beautiful blues guitar chords playing out, and Martin opening it up by just talking to his audience, like sitting in a cafe and offering to tell them a story about how he interacts with his lover on a daily basis. He then repeats some of the things that he had said in the original “Me and You”, with some minor adjustments and changes to the mixed version. Basically, it has him telling the audience everything he loves about Aaliyah, from her smile, laugh, jokes, and cries to many other things that he loves about his woman. The song ends with a sweet telephonic conversation between Martin and Aaliyah.

Fans of Martin are eagerly awaiting the next Kxng Tres single. Whether it with overpower the love he has got for his previous singles “Me and You”, “Closer”, and “Me and You (Smooth Guitar Mix)”, only time will tell that to us. All we can do is keep a lookout for this breakthrough of a singer making it big with yet another upcoming single soon in the musical market.

May 24: Indian actor Vishal Krishna released the second look of his upcoming movie Laththi and is delighted with the response he has received in all languages. This big-budget film is Vishal’s 32nd film which is made for the audience in India and worldwide.

His best friends Nandaa Dorairaj & Ramanna have become first-time producers for this movie. The movie is directed by debut director Vinodh. South actress Sunaina plays the female lead opposite Vishal. The movie will be released in five languages – Telugu, Tamil, Hindi, Malayalam and Kannada.

Vishal says “In this cop action entertainer, I am delighted to see myself in a completely different body language which is what I am really looking forward for the audience to see when Laththi hits the silver screens worldwide on the 12.8.2022. I play the role of a police constable in the movie which I have never portrayed before apart from playing a father to a six-year-old. I have been lauded for my action-packed performances all through my career but this movie is very unique. This is the only film so far in my career in which I have been bruised and injured the most while canning the high-intensity action sequences.

He adds “I am collaborating with one of India’s best action choreographers Peter Hein for the first time in my career. It was a different experience for me all together. As already mentioned, it is going to be firecrackers all the way since I have never shot an action sequence for so many days at a stretch. It has taken more than 60 days to shoot the last 45 minutes of the high octane climax action sequence.”

First look of Adil Hussain starrer ‘Footprints On Water’ and Randeep Hooda’s ‘Rat On The Highway’ unveiled at the India Pavilion, Cannes Film Festival

New Delhi (India), May 24: UK-based film company, The Production Headquarters Ltd., unveiled the first look of its 115-minute drama, Footprints On Water, at the India Pavilion during the on-going Cannes International Film Festival. Featuring Adil Hussain, Nimisha Sajayan, Lena Kumar and British actor Antonio Akeel, the shooting of the film is complete and it is into post production. Produced by Mohaan Nadaar, with sound design by Oscar winner Resul Pookutty, Footprints on Water marks the directorial debut of Nathalia Syam.

The gritty, realistic drama charts the travails of Raghu, an illegal immigrant in the UK, after his daughter goes missing.

The Production Headquarters Ltd. has several interesting international projects at various stages of production. The three which are complete include Footprints On Water, 36 Gunn and Rat On The Highway.

The Sumit Kakkad directed 36 Gunn, with Suntosh Juvekar and Purva Pawar in the lead, is a Marathi film woven around the traditional belief that if the 36 gunn or attributes are matched, it makes for the perfect match.

Rat On the Highway, headlined by Randeep Hooda, is a 115-minute drama that revolves around an advertising professional in an amnesic daze, trying to piece together the last 48 hours in his life after a smash-up on the highway. Helmed by Vivek Chouhan, the film was shot in Scotland.

Talking about his varied slate, Mohaan Nadaar of The Production Headquarters Ltd. says, “The idea is to bring struggles to the screen in a way that it imitates life. In some cases, the issues raised may be intensely personal and local, but the treatment, the locations, the production values and the marketing will help place them on the global map.
