New Delhi (India), February 10: MX Player’s popular web series Raktanchal 2 is soon going to release on 11th February 2021 in the MX player OTT platform and the trailer of the series got in 1st February 2022.  According to the Season 2 trailer, it promises to be turned into a political scenario this time, the earlier season revolved around the vengeance and gangs war. MX Player captioned it, “Iss Baar Ranneti Nahi, Rajneeti Banayega Purvanchal Ko Raktanchal.”

Raktanchal Season 1 was the biggest hit in MX player which got released in 28th May 2020 with the actors like Soundarya Sharma, Kranti Prakash Jha, Nikitin Dheer etc. acted in this web series. Raktanchal Season 1 and season 2 both is created by Shashank Rai and Produced by Pradeep Gupta, Shashank Rai and Mahima Gupta under the banner of Mahima Productions Ltd. and Pinaka Studios Pvt. Ltd.

With relations to the web series, Mr Pradeep Gupta, Founder and Producer, Mahima Productions Ltd. says, “We are really happy to see Raktanchal 2 going to air soon at MX Player platform. We all put our best efforts to create this show despite being into COVID situation and I hope our audience will like the show.” And Mr Shashank Rai, Founder and Producer, Pinaka Studios Pvt. Ltd. says, “Its very rare to see Raktanchal 2 like show available in the OTT platform these days which is a mix of political-crime-drama and we are hoping for the best to the series.”

Raktanchal season 1 plot was set in the 1980s of Purvanchal and was inspired by the true events. It was the story of Waseem Khan (played by Nikitin Dheer) who ruled the tender mafia in Uttar Pradesh, who was also involved in the smuggling of arms and ammunition. The story revolved around Vijay Singh (played by Kranti Prakash Jha) and Waseem Khan, who were constantly at loggerheads and leading to a series of bloodbaths. Khan was challenged by the antihero Vijay Singh, who held high morals and wanted to become a civil servant until Khan’s gang murdered his father Virendra Singh (played by Gyan Prakash). While Vijay was determined to take revenge of his father’s murder, which was killed by Waseem’s company, while Waseem was determined to hold on to his power come what may.

In Raktanchal season 2, people are aspiring to see actors like Soundarya Sharma, Ashish Vidyarthi, Mahi Gill, Karan Patel, Kranti Prakash Jha, Mukesh Bhatt, Vikram Kochhar and Nikitin Dheer etc. MX Player is the OTT platform in the country known for series like Aashram, Raktanchal, Bhaukaal, Matsya Kaand, EkThi Begum etc.

Mumbai (Maharashtra) [India], February 9: The Trailer of Producer Vibha Dutta Khosla’s Punjabi film “Mera Vyah Kara Do” has been launched by ZEE5 on YouTube channel today, with the release date of the film on 18th February 2022 which will have a premiere on OTT platform of ZEE5.

The film narrates the story of a Punjabi village girl who edits her matrimonial profile with her bold pics and description, the bad girl image works in her favor but also creates chaos in her life. A fun family entertainer treated musically, it was shot in Haryana & Chandigarh. The producers have avoided theatrical release as most of the Punjabi films recently released were running to empty halls, thus OTT was the only option to reach a larger audience all over the world.

The film is made under the banner of Maxor Movies [Mumbai] and has story screenplay and Direction by Sunill Khosla.

Mumbai (Maharashtra) [India], February 8:  After creating a stir with her sexy looks and heartthrobbing performance in Ullu app’s successful web series ‘Charamsukh’, actor and model Jinnie Jazz will be seen in multiple web series on various OTT platforms and has signed quite of few movies as well.

Jinnie is currently working for a web series named ‘Jaan Bhujhkar’ which will stream on Voovi App. She will also feature in another web series ‘To Be Or Not To Be’. Interestingly, she is also going to star on Amazon Prime movie ‘Women Behind The Bars’.

“I am looking forward to all of my upcoming web series and OTT films where I am playing exciting roles,” Jinnie says. I’m looking forward to making my film debut in the south. Belgaum (Karnataka) [India], February 08: Manik Wings Music, named after Khanapur popular Manik Cloth Stores has become the first independent music label company in Belgaum district in Karnataka.

Manik Wings Music, founded by Kamal Gulab Jain in memory of his grandfather, who founded Khanapur popular ‘Manik Cloth Stores’ on July 29 2020, has already released four songs and than the other three projects are underway in three languages: Hindi, Marathi, and Punjabi.

Kamal Gulab Jain has demonstrated that success does not only imply financial wealth, but also how rich you are in your heart. This is what inspired Jain to carry on his family’s legacy by working hard to make his mark in the world of music.

“I founded the music label in honour of my late grandfather MANGILALJI JAIN and great-grandfather SAMARATHMALJI JAIN,” said Kamal Gulab Jain, founder of Manik Wings Music. In 1963, my great-grandfather relocated from Rajasthan to Khanapur in Belgaum to start a clothing business. Manik Cloth Stores was the name of our stores. Kamal Gulab Jain is an independent producer, Singer, Actor, entrepreneur and brand ambassador for PKG Lifestyle and Magazine. He put up his first savings of Rs 46,000 in producing his first music album at the young age of 16. He produced another album titled ‘Maa’ and it gave him his first payment from YouTube. Meet Ipsita Bhattacharya who is gaining popularity with her performances as a talented actress and running for the top choice of many directors to cast her in their next ventures.

February 1: It is rightly said that a creative mind can never be on a break no matter the circumstances because creativity is never at rest. Given the challenges being confronted by everyone in the past year, we were left with no choice but to move on together as a community. This is what makes us who we are, turning hurdles into opportunities. And the mantra, “if you conceive it, you can achieve it”, holds much power and truth for anyone who works dedicatedly and passionately.

Today, we are in conversation with one such man who did not let any stumbling block slow him down. Filmmaker par excellence, Gaurang Doshi is one such perfect example of how to turn the tide and carry on with much vigour and passion like never before. He started his journey as an ardent cinema lover and learnt the art of filmmaking from his father Mr. Vinod Doshi, who produced blockbuster films like Dil, Beta, Raja. Therefore, it wouldn’t be wrong to say that filmmaking is in his genes.

Fast forward to the new millennium, and Gaurang was churning out cult cinemas like Bawandar, Aankhen, Deewar, which have left a lasting impression on everyone’s mind. He has always been known to bring his visions and exciting new ideas to life, no matter the challenges. In our conversation with him, he candidly tells us about his current propositions and his future game plan.

Talking about his much-deserved sabbatical, he rightly points out, “Officially I was on a break but unofficially for a producer, it’s never a break because we always have things running behind the scene in order to create yet another history. Therefore all this time that I was away from the camera, I was occupied with other several activities and also creating some extraordinary content for our audience who much awaits every Friday to see what’s releasing next.” Speaking about the present scenario and everything that is happening due to Covid, he said, “looking at the current trend where cinemas have taken a back seat due to the massive covid situation globally”.

The young producer was also ecstatic about his foray into the world of OTT, saying, “OTT has become the new normal, and so here I’m stepping into something new. It’s a drastic change, but it’s never too late to start with something different yes, I decided to keep my format for a multi starrer project ongoing may it be OTT or feature films. Covid can create closure for cinema halls, but it can’t impact the love for the cinema for the producer and the people!”

When asked if he will try a different approach when it comes to a web series vis-a-vis a film, he said, “It’s just about the mental perspective, creating a web series is more of a task because you need to keep the audience entertained at each episode or else they won’t wish to continue watching.” He added that he is enjoying this new experience but also said, “cinema is a never-ending trend and will eventually rise like a phoenix overcoming all the difficulties producers like us are going through because of the covid restrictions.”

Being a man of vision who always takes the road less travelled and tries to make cinema that are larger than life and extraordinary masterpieces by envisioning an unusual role for Mr. Bachchan or telling a courageous story like Bawandar. Because according to Mr. Doshi, it’s not always about money. At the end of the day, it’s your passion that really matters.

As he plans a stupendous comeback, he excitedly tells us about the initial minor hiccups and his megaprojects, “I have cleared the air and controversies about what happened in the past when I initiated the web series project 7th sense. Phoenix is not someone who burns itself in the fire; instead, it rises from its own ashes. I would not in my wildest dream, consider having the tag of a shelved project on my name. The project was not shelved to begin with, but it was put on hold because of the massive covid situation globally. Now, as things are getting better and social distancing and masks have become the new normal, I’m ready to start the project with a larger cast and some very influential names from the industry. There are some surprises surrounding the project, but for that, you will need to wait for the official announcements, which will be coming very soon.”

Speaking about his future master plans and what’s in store for the audience, he said, “There are multiple projects in the pipeline, mainly web series starting with 7th Sense itself, which we are aiming for this year. For mainstream cinema, I’m waiting for the covid situations to settle down a little more so the theatres can start in full swing. There are some eye-popping collaborations which I will be disclosing with an official announcement sometime soon till then I would just like to say stay home, stay safe and enjoy cinema.”

Gaurang Doshi is a name to reckon with in the Indian Film Industry whose extraordinary filmmaking skill leaves the audience wanting more. Here’s hoping we see more of Doshi very soon.

The film revolves around the Love chemistry of Actor Mukesh J Bharti and Actress Richa Mukherjee. Mumbai (Maharashtra) [India], January 31: The word trailer generally gives us a sense that it will be a glimpse from a film or a web series. But a trailer of a book, one that features the authors, is quite a novel idea. Director Divyansh Pandit, the founder of the production company Wild Buffaloes Entertainment, ideated one such novel trailer for the announcement of the biography on Assistant Commissioner of GST and Mumbai Customs, Deepak Pandit, known as White Singham these days.

When the authors, Sheetal Bhan and Aamir Bengali, initiated this book, they didn’t have the slightest clue that they would be featuring in a trailer of the same. The authors were nervous as well as excited for this new experience. None of them had had an experience of acting in front of the camera before; before on talking to them, they expressed that the director was a boon when it came to helping them shrug off the nervousness.

The trailer features a character who plays young Deepak Pandit and essays his life journey that displays a dynamic array of moments. From cricket to his adventures with the underworld to his incorruptible attitude to his love story, the trailer encompasses it all.

Having been released on the YouTube channel of Wild Buffaloes Entertainment, the trailer has received quite a response over the last 2 weeks.

“Deepak Pandit’s life history has been no less than a Bollywood film”, said both the authors. When asked about one element that made Deepak Pandit an impacting personality, Aamir said, “I have been in awe with his facial communication, which can convey the most intense massage with the slightest of expression. His eyes can impart a sense of security to his loved ones, and the same eyes can tear apart someone with ill intentions.” Sheetal, on the other hand has been in love with her aunt, Arushi Pandit, who she mentioned, has been her guardian angel and post her demise, Sheetal found this book as a means to relive and tell the story of not only her spiritual and magnificent aunt but also her inspiring and combative uncle, Deepak Pandit.
The trailer of the book includes quotes in praise of Deepak Pandit, by legendary Indian cricketers, like Chetan Sharma, Praveen Amre, Maninder Singh and many more, along with a couple of senior-most officials of the CBIC, a department under the Ministry of Finance.
