Mumbai (Maharashtra) [India], January 18: The announcement of the first-of-its-kind singing reality show, conceptualised by 7 Sargam Digital Media Private Limited, founded by Amarnath Prajapati, starring the who’s who of Bollywood’s fine playback singers to revive old songs from the 1990s and provide viewers with a sense of nostalgia, has sparked excitement in the Indian television industry.

The singing reality programme to revive old songs will be starring Udit Narayan, Sonu Nigam, Mika Singh, Abhijit Bhattacharya, Kumar Sanu, Shaan, Daler Mehandi, and others among Bollywood’s finest playback singers.

According to the company, the talks with Colors TV and Star Bharat for the singing reality show are on the final stage, and the shooting will take place in Mumbai.

“The singing reality show to revive old Hindi songs of the 90s’ will soon hit the television screen. This is going to be the first time in the history of the television that the well-known Bollywood playback singers are participating in the reality show,” said Amarnath Prajapati.

The company manages the social media and digital marketing of over 700 top-rated celebrities from the Bollywood and Bhojpuri film industries. It is also managing over 1,200 YouTube channels on YouTube MCN and has completed over 250 projects for over 105 top brands across many digital platforms.

Mumbai (Maharashtra) [India], January 18: Ajay Kumar Jha, a prominent businessman in the pharmaceutical sector in India and abroad, was inspired to make a film depicting the pain and struggle of the youngsters and the world beyond government jobs after becoming deeply disturbed by the plight of thousands of young people, particularly in states like Bihar and Uttar Pradesh, who spend their most productive years preparing for exams that may lead to government jobs.

The film ‘Sarkari Naukri’, produced under the banner of Ajay Jha Guddu Productions, talks about the craze of getting a government job among the youngsters in India, especially in the states like  Bihar and Uttar Pradesh. Most of the youngsters can go to any extent in securing government jobs. The film showcases the plight of the youngsters, their struggles, and the world beyond government jobs.

The journey of the film began with the recording of its first song sung by playback singer Sadhana Sargam. During the recording of the song, singer and composer Uday Narayan and lyricist Rajesh Narayan Jha were also present.

Ajay Kumar Jha said, “I come from a small village in Mithila in Bihar. When I was young, I went through the similar pressure of securing a government job. My two brothers were successful in getting government jobs, but I decided to take a road less travelled and carved a niche for myself in the field of pharma in India and abroad. Today, I am earning more than the salaries of both my brothers put together.”

January 17: The next edition of the prestigious Dadasaheb Phalke International Film Festival (DPIFF) Awards will once again be associated with Madhya Pradesh Tourism. The final date of the eminent event was announced at the glittering Press Conference in Mumbai on January 15. Shri Sheo Shekhar Shukla, Principal Secretary, Tourism &  Managing Director, Madhya Pradesh Tourism Board, marked his presence virtually and gave a head-start to the show.

Abhishek Mishra, CEO of DPIFF, made the official announcement and said, “Dadasaheb Phalke International Film Festival Awards 2022 will be held on February 20 and streamed live on ZEE5 from 7 PM onwards. The occasion will celebrate the grandeur of Indian Cinema and commemorate 75 years of Independence (Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav). The award ceremony has set the benchmark by honouring three broad segments of the Indian Entertainment Industries under one roof.”

Miss Universe Judge Urvashi Rautela, Subhash Ghai, Annu Kapoor, Pragya Kapoor, Anil Mishra from Ministry of I&B, Col. Tushar Joshi and Mayor of BMC- Smt. The evening was full of nostalgia as Urvashi recalled her acting debut, and Mayor of Mumbai shared her journey so far in BMC, which is India’s richest municipal corporation. Anil Mishra from the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting highlighted the Certification process and added, “Currently, films are certified into three categories — ‘U’ for unrestricted, public exhibition; ‘U/A’ that requires parental guidance for children under 12; and ‘A’ for adult films. I urge the filmmakers to physically mark their presence at the office of CBFC during the certification process to obtain the desired certification as the representative i.e. the spot boy or any other crew is not the authorized signatory to proclaim justification on the cuts of the film”.

Relive the gruelling experience of immigrants with “Meet Mr Chang”

Mumbai (Maharashtra) [India], January 17: Revolving around the plights of immigrants in other nations, the film revolves around Mr Lean Chang who is the main protagonist of the film, “Meet Mr. Chang”. He is a middle-aged Chinese immigrant who has been living in India. The film focuses on his sufferings through racism in his home and workplace.

Mr Chang had to go through a lot to overcome the stereotypes and racism that he had to face while he was enduring the pandemic stuck in Bombay, India. Cut off from his family and loved ones, Chang was abused by nearly every Indian he came in touch with, all of whom met him with an absolutely horrified look. The coronavirus being of Chinese origin has propelled many Indians to show disdain to any Chinese citizen they encountered in their country. From discrimination at the market to missing out on his daily food supply, Mr Chang had to endure hell during the pandemic, and the film narrates his sufferings.

ChienHo Liao Alfred is playing Mr. Chang character in this film. He worked before as the main villain in the hit Hindi action film, Paltan. The prominent actor has also appeared in a number of advertisements and daily soap too for which he has received multiple accolades.

The film will span over the duration of around 40-45 mins. The film is targeted to be sent the International Film festival. Viewers can also catch the film on OTT platforms after it has been released. The film is scheduled to be released in February 2022.

Racism and racial inequity continue to pervade our civilizations’ daily lives. To combat this worldwide scourge and promote racial justice, several specific processes and tools have been formed at the international, regional, and state levels.

Although the scopes of these processes and tools varied, they all have a distinct focus on racial concerns. Why is such a high level of specialisation required? How does the approach differ depending on the mission, forum, and emphasis of each organisation (for example, international vs individual-led approaches)? What are the benefits of these initiatives in terms of development? What milestones have been reached on the road to eradicating racism? These are some of the key answers that should seek the solution to end racism and racial profiling.

This film is aimed at the individuals who have never been subjected to racial profiling or who do not know someone who has, it may appear to be a minor nuisance. January 17: Delhi-based, 27-year old multi-talented entertainer, Naved Khan, is soon going to leave his mark on the audience’s mind through his remarkable dance performance at the famous television reality show, The Dance Icon. The show is going to air live on TV very soon.

“I have never learned dancing from any certified dance academy. Watching my favourite movies and television shows inspired me to self-learn dancing. While my family members and best friend Mukul supported me a lot, my father has been my biggest pillar of strength always.”

Naved shares that he takes immense dance inspiration from a celebrity, Sapna Chaudhary. He has met her two to three times until now. He finds her to be the gem of a person. She motivated him a lot to keep his passion for dancing alive.

Apart from the dancing industry, the acting industry also interests Naved Khan a lot. He has always aspired to be an actor and a dancer. He is also a singer and a writer by hobby. He felt that he was only meant for the acting career from his childhood days. He always felt like the camera surrounded him.

January 11: Vishal Gaikwad, the writer-director of the path-breaking film Runh that garnered the attention of the audience and critics, is now making another film based on the amazing real-life experiences of an Indian American boy. While speaking to the media, he said that the film is about the platonic relationship of a father and the son that goes beyond every existence. He also said that the youth is the biggest driving force in the country and in the world that has the potential to shape society, and his film will attract the youth to real values. That are minimalism, honesty, non-violence, which will eventually push the youth away from the evils like drugs, pornography and violence. APIK promises to give a never before hero who is stylish, charming, an adventurer who drives sports cars, still a saint seeking the truth. A major portion of the film will be shot in the USA and in the mighty Himalayas.

Javed Ali recorded a song for the film recently. Javed Ali said, “I was briefed about the subject of the film, and I strongly feel that the producer Prafulla Kharkar and director Vishal Gaikwad are making a meaningful film that is a pure entertainer with a social message and the song I sang is a very soothing and emotional song about the relationship between parents and the child.”

The music of the film is made by Nikhil Khoparde. A music composer, producer and arranger who has worked on many hit songs like Sheila ki Jawani, Aal izz well, Ooh lala ooh lala, Radha teri Chunri to name a few. He is also the composer for multiple broad way musical successes around the world like Jaan-e-jigar, balle balle, zangoora. Nikhil Khoparde said Javed Ali was his first choice for the song. He also said that it gives immense satisfaction to work with a director with vision. With APIK Nikhil Khoparde promises to bring a new sound of music.

The film is being produced under the banner AAKF, by Prafulla Kharkar and Shivani Kharkar. The film is written and directed by Vishal Gaikwad. With Nikhil Khoparde as the music director, the film also has surprise international collaborations. The film will be shot in India and US.  The names of the main cast have not been announced yet.

Mumbai (Maharashtra) [India], January 11: Phas Gaye Yaaro, directed by debutant director Yusuf Surti is a Horror Comedy film. The film’s speciality is that it’s a multi starrer film and has actors from different language film industries.

The film stars well known Hyderabadi Comedy actor Mast Ali who is popularly known as Saleem Pheku, and Aziz Naser in the lead role. This is also their comeback film after a gap of many years.
