    December 25: Late filmmaker Sultan Ahmed’s immense contribution to the film industry can never be put into bland words. His mastery in the craft, sheer passion and dedication in filmmaking, and the resilience to take Indian cinema to the front have been commendable. Carrying his golden legacy forward is his son – Ali Akbar Sultan. Predominantly working in Sultan Productions, he is a producer, entrepreneur and sports enthusiast.

    Hunting for new content and designing creative elements that engage the audience more holistically is Ali Akbar’s prime focus now.  He has been predominantly cultivating the scope of art developing in Maharashtra and believes that art should dwell not only in studios and theatres but be intermingled in every sphere of a person’s life. Art should dwell in communities, in classrooms, in galleries, and on every street. He is thus investing to critically engage, analyze and experiment art into various spheres. With the presence of virtual and augmented reality, he feels that he can bring about and produce great work in the future.

    Thus, he is currently working on new genres and trying to intermingle art and culture through a delphic medium as well. Talking about the production house’s upcoming works, he said, “Currently, under Sultan productions, we have been acquiring a few contents for film and web series. We are in the planning stage and shall announce the subjects soon. I have learned from my father Sultan Ahmed to never compromise on the story and content while working. Thus, now I am looking up to directors and writers more than the actors.” Sources reveal that the production house also has upcoming music videos lined up other than films and web series.

    Ali Akbar Sultan Ahmed even added, “I would like to work with the artists of Sultan productions again and again. To name a few – Rekha, Mithun Chakraborty, Sanjay Dutt, and the list goes on. ” He also stated how he admires the work of these living legends and the inspiration they are to the youth of the country.

    Finally, he concluded by saying that he is way left to reach the zenith. He has started the journey, and it would take time to acquire all the elements that are required to reach the top. So he is in the process of curating and grooving great content in the near future.

  • Afghani-American actress Khatera Hakimi enthralls audiences with her riveting performance in Code Name Abdul

    Code Name Abdul, starring Tanishaa Mukherjee in the lead role in her long-awaited return to the big screen, has everyone buzzing this week with its slick action that has everyone impressed. However, the film is receiving a fantastic response from audiences thanks to its new cast members, particularly Khatera Hakimi, whose passion has led her to work in Indian films.

    Khatera Hakimi discovered her hidden talent of becoming an actress at a young age, influenced by her father’s love of Indian classical music and black and white cinema of the past. The role of a RAW agent is played by Khatera Hakimi in the film, and she has done an excellent job.

    For months, Khatera Hakimi was trained in physicality to play the role of a RAW agent. “I was trained to strengthen my core and work on my agility,” Khatera Hakimi says. It was sheer hard work and a few hours of gym time every day that propelled me to the next level of giving my all in the film and being physically prepared to perform stunts.”

    Stunt training was also important, according to the actor. “I worked with my stunt coordinator to learn how to handle the gun, shoot, punch, and kick.” Every stunt is a meticulously choreographed sequence, and not being perfect wasn’t an option. It was all very new to me, and it was also very difficult. But that’s the fun of acting. You can sink your teeth into parts of the world that are completely foreign to you. In this case, it’s critical to understand the character’s psyche.”

    Released just over ten days back by Loose Motions 99 Music, Pyar Ka Nasha has had close around 9 Lakhs views on YouTube alone.

    The song shows Susheel expressing his deep love for a girl without making Swati realise that he is actually talking about her. The young lover shares how he misses his love every moment and keeps dreaming about her. It is only when Susheel goes down on one knee and proposes to her with the words “I Love You” that Swati realises that she is the lucky girl.

    Versatile singer Yasser Desai has lent his mesmerising voice to the love song, which was penned by Late Anwar Sager. Music for the song has been composed by music director Raju Sardar, while Bigyan Rai has directed the song, which is now streaming on all major music streaming platforms such as Wynk, JioSaavn, Spotify, Resso, Amazon, and Apple Music.

    “Pyar Ka Nasha has everything. It talks about love, how it is the beginning of everything, and the happiness it leads to.   • Pritam Kagne to be seen in major roles of Subhash Ghai’s next ‘Vijeta’ and ’36 Farmhouse’

    Mumbai (Maharashtra) [India], December 11: Pritam Kagne will be seen in ‘Vijeta’, a multi starer movie produced by veteran filmmaker Subhash Ghai with Suresh Pai as a co-producer.

    In the film, she is playing the character of Sunanda Gujar, an athlete. Pritam underwent training for almost two months to get the athlete body posture. “This was a very different kind of character in my career. The movie is releasing on December 10 across Maharashtra. I am dedicating the movie to all sportspersons who have won gold, silver and bronze medals for our nation.” Interestingly Pritam will also be seen in the lead role of the Ghai’s following ’36 Farmhouse’ too.

    Pritam started her journey in the film industry with Malayalam films with a lead role in ‘Mr. Bean’ and later turned her attention to the Marathi movie industry. She won the hearts of the Marathi movie audience with her performance in movies like ‘Halal’, ‘Navara Mazha Bhovara’, ‘Mansoon Football ‘, ‘Ahilya’ and ‘Vajvuya Band Baja’.   • Muddy becomes a hit; receives a raving response from all across

    Mumbai (Maharashtra) [India], December 11: Pragabhal’s Muddy, India’s first 4X4 mud race thriller film, is now screening in theatres all across, and right after its release, it has already become a blockbuster hit. The film received a massive response on its opening day itself and since then has been receiving rave reviews from everyone, and audiences cannot stop showering praises for the film and the team.

    Expressing gratitude towards everyone for showering the film with praises, director Pragabhal says, “I thank everyone for accepting Muddy Movie. Your applause throughout the movie made the whole team happy. Thank you for accepting us, and that’s our success.”

    Film’s music director, KGF fame Ravi Basrur who has given a musical treat for his first Malayalam film, too has expressed his gratitude. He says, “Thanks to the people for your huge response. The sound was purely designed for the theatre experience, and you’ve accepted it. It means a lot.”

    A solid story base, backed with unique visuals and sound experience, Muddy, a full-time 4X4 mud race film, is produced for the first time in India and has already become a mass film. It is also the first film to be released in six languages, including English.

    The film’s choreography design was the biggest challenge for director Pragabhal as there were no other films to refer to for the Muddy race, and it took him five years of research to start the movie. The characters were given training in mud racing for two years, and national level real mud racers too were taken on board to be a part of the film.

    The technicians behind the film have all proved their skills in Indian cinema. Apart from Ravi Basrur, Bollywood cameraman K G Rathish and Rakshasan fame editor San Lokesh are a part of the team.

    Directed by Pragabhal and produced by Prema Krishnadas under his banner PK 7, Muddy stars newcomers Yuvan Krishna, Ridhaan Krishna, Anusha Sooraj and Amith Sivadas Nair. It was released in theatres on Friday, December 10, 2021.
