At London airport, GuruJi was received by the Sangat with love

Odessa [Ukraine] April 2: The tragedy of the war in Ukraine has made it necessary to evacuate the Sainchian/religious scriptures and Gutke/sacred prayer tablets from the port city of Odessa in Ukraine. This virtuous seva was critical as the residents of Odessa had been preparing to defend the city from an imminent attack after the siege of Mariupol nearby. This seva was made successful by the joint efforts of Sikh Defense Network-UK, Sikh Dharma International and the UNITED SIKHS. The Holy Scriptures are being respectfully brought into the United Kingdom, where they will be received by the Sangat and then taken to the National Sikh Museum in Derby, UK.

Simran Singh from Sikh Dharma International travelled from London to Iasi in Romania, from where he took a car to drive into the Moldovan capital Chisinau. The outskirts of the city were met by the members of the Ukrainian People’s Self Defense Organization.  The general advice given was to not travel due to the city being prepared for the assault. The entire sequence of the journey was an experience of grace and filled with Chardhi Kala and joyful anticipation of the darshan of the scriptures.

The scriptures and tablets were then collected from Odessa Gurdwara Sahib, following all the protocols and with utmost care. The scriptures will be taken for safekeeping by the National Sikh Museum in Derby.

“We are overjoyed that Guru Ji provided the blessing of retrieving the Sanchia at such a difficult time,” said Simran Singh, Global Affairs Advisor of Sikh Dharma International. “Coordinating on the ground with United Sikhs and the UK Sikh Defense Network in this mission was a game-changer and it is together that the panth is the strongest. Now, our focus must remain on the humanitarian crisis in Ukraine, where millions of people are in extreme duress, where food is in short supply, and where countless refugees are hiding or worse. United Sikhs is currently running convoys into Ukraine to evacuate Sikh and Hindu students, is feeding thousands of refugees on the entire sangat’s behalf at their langar hall, and is available to any person needing help. We are extremely grateful for their tireless work.”

Pritpal Singh Bhullar, Vice Chairman, UK Sikh Defense Network said,  “When we started planning this mission with Simran Singh, it was important that he had real-time knowledge of movements and travel routes to ensure his and scriptures’ safe return. The area is under military siege, with civilians evacuated, and we had to efficiently navigate military blockades, armoured vehicle columns, and pending bombardments. We are particularly grateful to the Ukrainian People’s Self Defense Organization from Lviv for coordinating Ukrainian vehicles and non-military drivers at personal risk and during their own tremendous needs. We are overjoyed that with Guru Ji’s blessing, this mission was a success.”

UNITED SIKHS has been involved in serving the emergency needs of refugees escaping the destruction of their country.  This includes distributing warm meals to eat, tea/coffee, goodwill supplies, a warm and secure shelter in a bitterly cold climate and conducting rescue operations along the Ukraine/Poland border for close to a month.

Gurpal Singh, UNITED SIKHS Head of Security Operations said, “Thanks to Vaaheguroo that Guru Saheb’s most sacred Senchiaa and Gutkas have made their way out. The collective approach of Sikh brothers and sisters in this operation with the Polish NGOs, Ukrainian Civil Authorities and their NGOs is a sign of a collective human spirit to save humanity-in war or peace. We recognize Simran Singh and the Sikh Dharma International Sangat in their collective effort to join forces and work as a truly global Team. Their humanitarian supply, evacuation, and food delivery seva for the Ukrainian people are deeply inspirational as well. This Mission is a tribute to universal protection of places of worship globally and we are thankful to the Sikh National Heritage Museum in Derby, UK where they will be placed.”

Dr Biswaroop Roy Chowdhury,  the inventor of the GRAD system, told media persons at Chandigarh Press Club, here that, “GRAD includes two hours of hot water immersion therapy, head down tilt therapy and disciplined and intelligent people(DIP) diet. These elements form the nucleus of the GRAD system.”

Research Team Member from Shridhar University Dr. Anu Bhardwaj (B.A.M.S) said, “As many as 100 dialysis patients undergoing treatment under the GRAD system from 22 States across India, were observed for an average of 100 days.”

Registrar of Shridhar University Dr. Om Prakash Gupta said,” Among the patients, who adopted the GRAD System fully, 75% could free them of dialysis and the rest of the 25 percent also could free themselves partially from dialysis.”

The GRAD system can be recommended as an effective method to reverse CKD among mild, moderate, and severe patients and can be seen as an effective alternative to dialysis and kidney transplant, said experts present at the press conference.

Ayurveda and yoga Guru – Acharya Manish, who is also Chairman, HIIMS Hospital, Dera Bassi, while introducing successfully treated patients of CKD, shared the vision of the GRAD system. “It is affordable and can be done at the convenience of patients in rural settings as well. The GRAD system can be seen as the beginning of the end of transplant,” he said.

Acharya Manish said that the GRAD system comes as a big hope for CKD patients as about 70 crore people across the globe are suffering from CKD and about one third of them live in India or China. Till now there is no cure and the only treatment available is dialysis and transplant, which is out of the reach of the majority of the patients.

DrAnu Bhardwaj of Shridhar University explained the Ayurvedic perspective of GRAD system while other research team members including Dr Amar Singh Azad, MD, Paediatrics Community Medicine and Dr Awadhesh Pandey, MD, Radiology, explained the allopathic relevance of the reversal of CKD and the scope of this new finding.

Profuse menstrual bleeding may cause anaemia, if ignored may lead to aplastic anaemia – Dr AK Dwivedi – Primex News Network

Dr. AK Dwivedi at Devi Ahilya Vishwavidhyalaya’s National Yoga Convention

Devi Ahilya Vishwavidhyalaya’s National Yoga Convention focuses on ‘anaemia’ as a major concern among Indian women

Indore (Madhya Pradesh) [India], April 1: The Devi Ahilya Vishwavidyalaya, the State University of Madhya Pradesh, organised a two-day National Yoga convention with the primary goal of discussing the issues that a developing country faces in combating anaemia and potential answers to those challenges.

The National Yoga convention, held at Devi Ahilya Vishwavidhyalaya’s sprawling auditorium, was inaugurated by the Vice-Chancellor of the university, Prof. Renu Jain, in the presence of Rector of the University, Prof. Ashok Sharma, and Registrar, Dr. Anil Kumar Sharma.

Dr. AK Dwivedi, a senior Homeopathic physician of Advance Homeo Health Centre and Homeopathic Medical Research Private Limited, addressed a large crowd at the National Yoga Convention with a PowerPoint presentation that detailed the incidence of various types of anaemia in India.

According to Dr. Dwivedi, Iron Deficiency Anemia is caused by when your body doesn’t have enough iron to produce haemoglobin. While Aplastic Anemia is caused by the bone marrow’s failure to produce new blood cells,  Sickle cell anaemia is caused by a change in the gene when red blood cells’ shape changes from round or oval to sickle. A lack of folate and vitamin B-12, in addition to iron, causes Vitamin Deficiency Anemia. Thalassemia is caused by a disruption in the DNA of haemoglobin. Hemolytic anaemia is a disorder in which red blood cells are destroyed faster than they can be made.

Dr. Dwivedi recommended those in attendance at the convention to consult their doctors as soon as possible if they had severe menstrual bleeding, bleeding piles, bleeding from the nose and mouth, or blood in the urine. Furthermore, adults over the age of 45 should avoid using painkillers on their own if they are experiencing weakness, exhaustion, or a high fever. Patients in this situation must undergo CBC testing in a laboratory and take medications suggested by specialists.

Dr. Dwivedi also informed that he has been treating patients suffering from  Aplastic anaemia with Homeopathy medicines for the last 22 years through his rich experience in the field of homoeopathy.  Scores of his patients who have recovered from aplastic anaemia are living a completely normal life after recovery without the need for blood transfusion or taking any medications. As per Dr. AK Dwivedi,  homoeopathy medicines may help stop profuse menstrual bleeding or bleeding piles in a very shorter duration.

Dr. S S Sharma, the program coordinator, gave a welcome speech. Deputy coordinator of the convention, Dr. Anurag Sharma, faculty member Dr. Sarita Dhanuka, Nikki Tiwari, Bipin Sharma, Yoga Acharya, Vishal Sharma, Nita Malaviya, Uma Pathak, Shital Pathak, Ms. Pooja Panwar, etc., remained present on this occasion.
