Kota, Rajasthan [India]: It looked like a placid track right from the beginning. Clearly, a lot depened on the toss. Narendra Sing Tomar, Kota Chambal Tigers skipper did not hesitate even once and decided to bat first on a track which looked like a batsmen heaven.

Kota openers provided a stupendous start of 77 runs to their team. This assisted the middle order to go and express themselves freely. Kota Chambal Tigers scored a colossal score of 196 for 5 in their stipulated 20 overs. Shahbaz khan in particular was in a murderous mood and scored 63 off 28 deliveries. The onslaught was laced with four boundaries and five towering sixes. He was ably supported by skipper Narendra Singh Tomar & Shiva Chauhan scaring 55 & 44 respectively.

The pursuit of winning the finals didn’t go well for Jaisalmer Jaguars as their batsmen failed to convert the small starts into big ones. They eventually surrendered for a mere 119 in 17 overs. Shubham was the top scorer for Jaisalmer Jaguars with 26 runs. For Kota Chambal Tigers Rajat Chaudhary, Shahbaz Khan & Deepak Dangi claimed two wickets each.

Kota Chamabal Tigers stamped their authority over the coveted trophy for the second time.

The grand final was supervised by Mr. Mohd. Rafi & Mr. Anuj Rathore.

During today’s finals, the stage was graced by the presence of bollywood icon Mr. Suniel Shetty & Mr. Sohail Khan. Other reputed guests were singer Ali Kuli Mirza, Mr. Jitu Verma (Jojo), Mrs. India World Kirti Mishra Narang & Yogi Dr. Dushyant Vyas.

Chairman – Rajwada Cricket League

Kota, Rajasthan [India] : The much awaited sixth edition of Rajwada Cricket League (R.C.L) is all set to commence on March 7th 2021. The action will last for seven days as the finals is listed to be played on March 13th 2021 at the renowned J.K. Pavilion International Cricket stadium, Nayapura, Kota, quoted Mr. Amin Pathan – Chairman (R.C.L.).

The league would witness the presence of several International cricketers and glamorous Bollywood personalities.

Six teams to compete for the glory

As per Mr. Amin Pathan, a total of six teams will compete to claim their authority over the prestigious cup & they have been segregated in two groups of three teams each. Group A would comprise Kota Chambal Tigers, Jodhpur Jodhana Royals, Jaipur Pinkcity & Udaipur Mewar Royals, Ajmer Meru Warriors, Jaisalmer Jaguars will complete group B. The twenty over format league will be played in accordance to all the I.C.C. guidelines & a total of two games will be played for the first six days of the league as a complete day will be dedicated to the grand finals. The time slots for the first & second games will be 9.00 AM – 12.30 PM & 1.00 PM – 4.30 PM respectively. As like former years, the fans are going to witness enthralling & fiercely fought games of cricket this year as well.

Presence of international cricketers & Bollywood stars

The season six of R.C.L. will be beautified by the presence of Bollywood star Suniel Shetty, Sohail Khan, Ali Kuli Mirza (singer), Shahzad Khan, Sargam, Kainaat Arora, Jo Jo. Other guest will be Faisal Sheikh (Faisu), Faiz Baloch, Rashid Khan, Zubin Shah, Amir Arab & Azhar Khan.

From the cricketing front, Kota is all set to welcome cricketing legend Mohammad Azharuddin, Mohammad Kaif, Pragyan Ojha, Pankaj Singh, Munaf Patel, Praveen Kumar as their presence on the field will boost up the participating cricketers.

Apart from this, ministers, member of parliament and member of legislative assemblies from state & central government will also grace the occasion.

J.K. Pavilion stadium all set to host R.C.L.

In order to make this a successful event, the City Development trust & other departments are leaving no stone unturned. The coordination between different departments is what will make this edition one of the grandest. Cosmetic tasks as in whitewash, grass cutting & ground levelling are in full swing. Two large LED screens will be installed which will allow the fans to catch all the on field action more defined manner. The center and practice pitches are being curated by an international curator.

R.C.L. emerging as the future of cricket

Mr. Pathan emphasized that previous editions of R.C.L. not only benefitted cricket in Rajasthan but also helped create cricketers for India. The likes of Khaleel Ahmed, Deepak Chahar, Kamlesh Nagarkoti, Rahul Chahar, Salman Khan, Nathu Singh, Mahipal Lomror all have showcased their talent in the previous editions.

Huge fan base expected to watch the cricketing action

If the trend from the past seasons is to be taken into consideration, we are expecting a huge turn around during the matches quoted Mr. Pathan. The approximate seating capacity is 20,000 and we are expecting the stadium to be full, however, during these unprecedented times of Covid – 19 we are determined to follow all the administrative and medical guidelines.

The young brigade from schools, colleges and coaching institutes are expected to occupy the major seating capacity. Considering the success of previous seasons, a lot of institutions from Kota are coming forward to become a part of this event.

Rajasthani cultural shows

In order to promote Rajasthani culture, we have made arrangements to organize traditional Rajasthani dance, Sahariya dance & folk art. This will be a good exhibition and source of entertainment for all players, spectators and the invited guests.

Players selected post proper trials

Mr. Pathan confirmed that proper cricket trials were conducted in order to pick the best & deserving players. A total of 180 cricketers took part in the trial. The players were being selected keeping in mind the main expertise associated with the game of cricket i.e. bowling, batting & wicket Keeping.

Initially, the trials were conducted for the players from outside Kota & later local guys showcased their area of expertise.

Jaipur, Rajasthan [India] : Mukesh Gora was born in Jaipur (Rajasthan), India and has represented India as an MMA fighter worldwide. He specializes in Wushu and Kickboxing and has won gold, silver and bronze medals over the years.

Professional MMA fighter and Jaipur lad, Mukesh Choudhary (Gora), is set to create history with his acumen for contact sports. Currently ranked 9^th among South Asian Pro Welterweights, Mukesh is soon going to be counted among the top level of MMA fighters, because he never stops practicing. So far, he has won Gold, Silver and Bronze medals in various competitions in Wushu and Kickboxing.

This talented young man has had 7 wins in various championships and contests. The events where Mukesh has made a name for himself include – Asia Cup Championship, South Asian Games, World Championship, Asian Championship, Super Fight League and Matrix Fight Night. Mukesh was inducted into fitness and sports from a young age and he used to practice for hours every day because he wanted to make a career for himself out of sports. His family and friends have supported him through his long journey to sports stardom and now, Mukesh is ready to take the next jump, into the international arena of MMA.

A little bit about Wushu and Kickboxing.

It’s a Chinese hard and soft and complete martial art and a contact sport. In other words, Wushu is the correct term for kung-fu because they are essentially the same.

“Wushu” is the Chinese term for martial arts. In contemporary times, Wushu has become an international sport through the International Wushu Federation (IWUF), which every two years among other competitions.

As the name suggests, it involves both kicking and boxing! It is one of the most common and popular sports among MMA players. Kickboxing is a stand-up combat sport based on kicking and punching, historically developed from karate mixed with boxing.

Kickboxing is practised for self-defence, general fitness or as it generally the case contact sport!

Mixed Martial arts is a well known, yet dangerous sport. And in India, it’s gained popularity over the years.

Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh [India] : Abhay Singh, who is the owner and founder of Abhay Raj International has bought a team named Arrah Avengers in BCL T20 league. The Bihar Premier League (BCL) is a very professional League for T20 Cricket Tournament organized in Bihar. BPL works with the format of a franchise-system based on the American way of hiring players and transfers. The Franchises put for auction, in which the higher won the rights of the team and became the owner, that represents each city (District or zone). It has started in Bihar to encourage the young talents to contribute their part in the field of cricket.

Hence we all know that there are many hidden talents in the nook and corner of Bihar, and to nourish as well as flourish such talents, BCL is playing a key role. Being a former cricket player Abhay Singh has been working for this for the last 5 years and he continues to work for the young cricketers and talents of Bihar. He believes that from the initiative taken by BCL, there will be enormous development and changes in Bihar.

Apart from this, he is also running his own company “Abhay Raj International (ARI-MED)” which deals with the production of sanitisers and face-mask. This is one of his contributions to the development of Bihar.
