  • New web series Zindagi Reset discusses our dependence on technology, makers adopt a no phone policy on set to bring out raw performances from actors – Primex News Network

New web series Zindagi Reset discusses our dependence on technology, makers adopt a no phone policy on set to bring out raw performances from actors – Primex News Network

April 11: Of the new batch of wonderful stories coming out of the OTT space, the new one to look out for is the series Zindagi Reset, Ace Multimedia. Whipped up by producers Punit Wadhwa and Manish Jhunjhunwala and directed by Adi Irani and Shiva Rindani, the series is an astute take on how technology consumes our lives.

This ten part series hinges on its high concept idea and stars a solid fresh cast featuring Raju Kher, Ashwin Kaushal, Amit Pachori, Akshat Irani, Arhaan Patel, Kamya Pandey, Shilpa Gandhi, Jyotsna Indore, Nidhi Mahawan, Nitin Nachnani, Harshita Kashyap, Samiksha Bhatnagar, Tanisha Paul & Pavneet Bagga. Besides the exhaustive process of casting fresh faces, the series had a cumbersome shooting process, which included a strict no phone policy on set. The actors had to delve into the deeper places of their mind and the makers decided that to be able to tap into dependence on technology in a raw fashion, there should be no cell phones on set.

The series that can be described as a technology based drama has a simple takeaway – don’t let your smartphone be smarter than you. Following the story of 3 people whose lives are turned upside down because of a series of events revolving around technology, the narrative focuses on Zeeshaan – a handsome young college boy next door who is a charming Casanova. After a twist and turn of events he realizes his faulty approach to life. His friend Aditya is the dreamer. But his story tells us what are the repercussions of letting your dreams and aspirations completely take over you. The third protagonist, Yash, is a strong and zealous individual who knows what he wants. He is a businessman who does everything with dedication but doesn’t compromise on ethics.

The makers tell us that for them the story was crucial. “Set in India in this day and age, we felt it is important to depict the dependency on technology and phones correctly. In workshops, we told the cast of the no phone policy. There was hesitation but never reluctance. I feel it really helped make the film more potent,” says Mr. Wadhwa.

Mr Jhunjhunwala says the rule was applied to anyone on set and not just the actors. “Movies and content are a collaborative process. So this exercise was for anyone on set, including the directors and us. The cast understood why it was important to do this. It really enhanced the performances and we were able to tell our story from a more honest space.”

  • Cloudphysician’s Smart-ICU Solution provides access to India’s best intensivists to hospitals across India using technology – Primex News Network

Cloudphysician’s Smart-ICU Solution provides access to India’s best intensivists to hospitals across India using technology – Primex News Network

(L to R) Dr. Dileep Raman, Co-founder & Chief of Healthcare, Cloudphysician, Dr. Arindam Kar, Organizing Secretary, CRITICARE, Dr. Dhruv Joshi, Co-founder & CEO, Cloudphysician

April 9: Cloudphysician, a new age technology enabled healthcare delivery company has developed and deployed a Smart-ICU platform to manage ICU patients in hospitals across India. Highly trained Cloudphysician intensivists 24×7 manage ICU patients of these hospitals from a care center headquartered in Bangalore. The healthcare-as-a-service platform was started by Dr. Dhruv Joshi and Dr. Dileep Raman, both critical care doctors and pulmonologists who were working at the Cleveland Clinic, Ohio, USA, before returning to India to set up the company.

Speaking at the 28th Annual Conference of the Indian Society of Critical Care Medicine, CRITICARE 2022held at the Mahatma Mandir Convention Centre in Ahmedabad, Dr. Dileep Raman, Co-founder and Chief of Healthcare, Cloudphysician, said, “India can be a prime case for the world to demonstrate how healthcare can be elevated using technology. India’s widespread terrain makes it imperative that we find technology solutions to help the most critical patients in ICUs recover with better care wherever they may be located. Cloudphysician has managed the ICUs at over 70 hospitals across India and has served over 35,000 critically ill patients across India with a marked improvement in outcomes and a reduction in mortality rates and greater compliance with standard of care protocols.”

Quote from Dr. Arindam Kar, Organizing Secretary, CRITICARE, “In India, critical care resources have been estimated at only 2.3 beds per 1 lakh people. For context, Germany and Canada have 29.2 and 12.9 beds per 1 lakh population. There is a huge unmet need of ICU and ICU doctors. Technology can be a critical enabler – one that can help us bridge this gap. Every hospital, no matter where, will have to incorporate technology to remain relevant. I have seen first-hand the solution that Cloudphysician has developed and it is truly revolutionary. It allows a hospital to provide high quality care to its patients and the necessary support to its staff irrespective of the location. Even large hospitals can streamline and standardize their critical care and bring in efficiency and accountability by using Cloudphysician’s state-of-the-art RADAR platform. There are 2500 plus attendees and from over 150 cities and 20 countries around the world attending this conference. We are doing 15 workshops in 25 different learning formats. The COVID pandemic has allowed the traditional thinking take a quantum leap in terms of the way patients can be handled by at least 10 years”.

Dr. Dhruv Joshi, Co-founder and CEO, Cloudphysician added, “An ICU has the most critical patients in any hospital at one hand, and on the other hand there is a challenge of availability of high end expertise to manage these patients 24/7 in India, as also across the globe. Patients in ICU go through different phases of illness, needing the hospital treating physicians to provide personal attention to intensely critical patients. Our remote Care Center of the Smart-ICU solution forms the support layer that the bedside needs, providing much relief to the hospital and the hospital staff. Our solution has a wide adoption because the hospitals and doctors get the support and the information they need at their fingertips in real time 24/7 and the patients have a faster recovery in ICUs managed through Cloudphysician. In a few years we believe that most hospitals across the globe will adopt Smart-ICU solutions as it saves lives, money and anxiety of clinicians and patient families.”

    About Cloudphysician:

Cloudphysician is a healthcare company that is transforming the delivery of critical care by leveraging technology. Cloudphysician uses its proprietary technology platform, RADAR, to connect Care Centers staffed with trained critical care personnel to ICUs remotely. These specialists use RADAR to monitor and manage patients 24/7, thereby improving the quality of care. RADAR digitizes and analyses patient data in real time using tools like computer vision and natural language processing and provides clinical decision support to super specialist doctors at the care center who can then assist the team at the bedside with the appropriate treatment that needs to be directed to patients at these ICUs. Inbuilt in RADAR are diagnostic tools to assist doctors and automated early warnings that alert caregivers. This allows a doctor to oversee the care of multiple patients at any given time, no matter the location – thereby addressing the quality of care, shortage of specialist doctors and improving outcomes of critically ill patients.

    About CRITICARE 2022:

This annual conference is being hosted by Indian Society of Critical Care Medicine and it will be a meeting place for researchers, professors and young doctors in Intensive Care across the globe to exchange their knowledge and to voice their innovations to the world. Topics will be revisiting the clinical practices, new technologies and drugs, as well as – and very importantly – the current initiatives to deal with new normal- the pandemic and post pandemic scenario of critical care.

Being a Pranic Healer herself, she believes in exploring her spiritual sides and tries to establish her bond with the Omnipresent through her art. If you ask her, the primary objective of her paintings, she will immediately respond by saying ‘to spread happiness around’.

It is to fulfil this objective she began her journey as the youngest trustee at hospital in Varanasi. She used to visit Kashi Vishwanath temple in Varanasi twice along with her grandfather and it was during these trips she was introduced to this side of the world. It was the suffering which she saw around in the hospital that encouraged her to continue her philanthropic work. Her grandfather has been the biggest support and influence in her life, and it was because of him she found her inclination towards philanthropy.

As a spiritual person, she believes in giving back to the society as a token of thankfulness to the almighty, for everything she has been blessed with in her life. Even when she is not in Varanasi, she actively participates in Charitable Art Exhibitions and fund raisers, to ensure happiness and positivity around her.

Spirituality is something that has always kept her inspired. Even though she claims that she is not a religious person, but spirituality is what keeps her inspired. Through her art she tries to spread positivity and joy and that is the purpose of her life and her art.

“My themes are mostly about my spiritual pursuits to connect with the Almighty who connects us all in a single thread. My artworks are all about spreading happiness and positivity. I do not believe in sticking to any religion, but my artworks are all spiritual in nature.” says, artist Swati Pasari.

Always inclined towards art since childhood, she answered her calling by choosing to be an artist rather than a businesswoman.

For her, life is an inspiration and she believes that what we receive in life as a blessing from the almighty must be shared with people around us.

She tries to do that through my art. Being a Pranic Healer, she believes in spreading positive vibes around her and tries her best to heal people around her through her art.

“For me life is an inspiration and I believe that what we receive in life as a blessing from the almighty must be shared with people around us. I try to do that through my art.”

To give back to the society positivity, happiness through her art is her only goal. Not only does she paint to heal the world, but she also tries to spend a part of my proceeds for the betterment of the society.

She plans to see herself as one of the leading women artists and most importantly she wants to be the source of joy and positivity in the world and for that, she considers her paintbrush to be her magic wand to bring about the change, she has always wanted to see in this world.
