    New Delhi (India), March 29: India is inching toward becoming a fully Electric Vehicle (EV) nation by 2030 with optimistic sales figures and the unveiling of a host of new models by automobile manufacturers.

    According to a recent report by research firm JMK Research and Analytics, the consolidated sales of EVs in the country clocked 50,000 units in December last year, registering a 240 per cent Year Over Year (YoY) growth compared to December 2020.

    With the Omicron lead wave subsiding coupled with declining technology costs, EV shipment figures in India are expected to continue to reach new heights in the coming months. The segment’s growth will also be fueled by the emergence of new disruptive business models aimed toward the common objective of driving EV adoption in the country.

    While initiatives such as the Faster Adoption and Manufacturing of Electric Vehicles (FAME) Phase II scheme, which boasts a budget of Rs 10,000 crore to offer subsidies to EV buyers across different segments, are in place, the need of the hour is to provide hasslefree, customised financing options to consumers.

    According to a recent report by the country’s apex public policy think tank, NITI Ayog, financial institutions would have to lend an estimated Rs 40,000 crores by 2025 and Rs 3.7 lakh crores by 2030 to drive the adoption of EVs among the masses.

    Banks and NBFCs are also reluctant to finance EVs owing to associated business models and asset risks and the nascency of the EV sector. Also, in some cases, where financing is available, a significant chunk of EV buyers do not align with the loan terms (high-interest rates, lower tenures) compared to ICE vehicles.

    Born in a reputed Punjabi Brahmin family in the Chhattisgarh state, Apurav Degan’s passions and interests were considered far from normal in his family. While his grandfather, Late Dr. JK Degan was a well-known homeopath physician in the state. His mother, father, and elder sister are also dedicated specialists in the medical field.

    Apurav Degan’s father, Dr. Rajesh Degan is an acclaimed and well-versed ear, nose, throat, and other diseases specialist doctor in the state of Chhattisgarh. His mother, Dr. Sangeeta Degan is a specialist doctor for anesthesia. Both his parents are also senior officers at a high post in the Government of Chhattisgarh. Colors have the power to evoke emotional responses in people. Not only this, colors convey the essence of a certain product or a brand. The importance of color can be deduced from the fact that even without a single word, colors convey messages of freshness, youth, peace, anger and other advantageous factors.

    Brand needs to break through the competitive market to gain consideration and more importantly – customers. Recognition of a brand highly depends upon the color associated with a specific brand. Product color or product packaging can ignite the interest of customers.     An England-based publication house releases Pranay Patil’s debut novel ‘Burgundy Winters in Europe’ – Primex News Network

    New Delhi (India), March 29: Pranay Vivek Patil has launched his debut novel ‘Burgundy Winters: in Europe’. The novel, released by an England-based publishing house, Crystal Peake, presents a perspective of an American rockstar dealing with the consequences of his partying lifestyle after his bandmate overdosed in his arms.

    For Patil, it is a hobby that allows him the chance to explore his boundaries. “Writing is an experience for me of demystifying things and renewing reality through the medium of a story. “I feel whole and revitalised every time I finish a novel,” he says. “Writing is an integral aspect of my identity because it enables me to break free from the constraints of social norms.”

    He said it took him nearly a year to write the book “Burgundy Winters: in Europe,” When his work hit the market, he felt that familiar feeling of restoration he had come to expect after long hours of pecking away at the keyboard.

    “Burgundy Winters: in Europe” tells the narrative of Jace Tanner, an American rock star who must deal with the consequences of his partying lifestyle when his bandmate Aiden overdosed in his arms. As he tries to cope with the horrors of losing someone so close to him, Jace finds himself spiralling into a dismal and overpowering hole. He soon discovers that there is a new girl in his life who may be able to help him pull himself out of this newly formed pit of despair. They start dating, but their relationship quickly takes a spooky turn.

    “As I completed the story and people loved the book, I believe it has given me a new perspective and so many things to cherish in life,” says Patil.

    After its debut in the United Kingdom in early March, the book earned quick acclaim with excellent reviews from major reviewers. It’s been an eye-opening experience for the first-time author, who hopes to utilise his expertise to aid others considering publishing their work.

    One of the essential pieces of advice Patil gives aspiring writers is to be wary of publishers who see first-time authors as a gold mine. He also cautioned that some self-publishing organisations overcharge first-time authors and that it is all too easy to fall prey to a scam when dealing with self-publishing.

    “Aspiring authors should be cautious and thoroughly verify everything before agreeing to anything,” he advises. “Kevin and Nikki are amazing people who were helpful throughout the process. “They pick a few books and devote their entire heart and soul to them until they are a success,” he explains. “I do not doubt that they are in it for the long haul with each author, not for the quick buck.” This incident has forever altered my perception of the publishing industry.”

    Patil attributes his writing ability well to his lifelong habit of reading literary periodicals, especially his favourites, Writer’s Digest and Publishers Weekly. But, as he develops the tale, he claims that being able to feel a broad range of emotions is the real key to creating something brilliant.

    Patil was immersed in the culture of Germany, where he was residing at the time he wrote the narrative, to find much of the emotion that runs through it, which helped him appreciate those characteristics of Europe. As he considered the readers who might one day connect with the protagonist’s perspective and the tones of the female characters in the book, he said he took extra attention to crafting the protagonist’s perspective and the tones of the female characters in the book.

    March 29: Recognizing the contribution of farmers towards strengthening the entire ecosystem of organic farming, Organic India Private Limited (“Organic India”), in association with the prestigious Dadasaheb Phalke International Film Festival felicitated the top 5 organic farmers with Dharti Mitr Awards while celebrating the grandeur of Indian Cinema and commemorating 75 years of Independence (Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav).

    The Dharti Mitr awards instituted by ORGANIC INDIA in the year 2017 to honor and recognize the efforts of organic farmers across the country, not just in growing crops without chemical inputs but also in balancing the ecosystem and creating innovative self-sustaining models. The Dharti Mitr awards also provides a platform for organic farmers across the country to share their innovation and cross populate their learnings. The winner of the first Dharti Mitr award 2017 Mr. Bharat Bhushan Tyagi, was bestowed with the Padma Shri, the fourth highest civilian award in India in 2019.

    The winners of the Dharti Mitr awards 2021, felicitated by Bollywood actress Lara Dutta and Col. Tushar Joshi during the Dada Saheb Phalke International Film Festival, were Nathani Upendrbhai Dayabhai from Gujarat who won the first prize of INR 5 Lakhs, Malleshappa Gulappa Bisirotti from Karnataka who won the second prize of INR 3 Lakhs, the third prize of INR. 1 Lakhs each went to Devaraddi Agasanakoppa from Karnataka, Rawal Chand and Urmila Ur Rubi Pareek from Rajasthan.
