Girish has been conferred with more than 50 awards for his valuable contribution to the Entertainment industry. A young serial entrepreneur with mammoth-sized dreams, Prateek pulled up his socks at a very young age to follow his passion and check his goals.

Prateek never looked back, with over 35 stores across the country today. He aims at making this number reach 200 by the end of 2022.

    Last year, Prateek added another feather to his hat, adding Liquor Land to his fleet of businesses under Erica Ventures. A one-stop store for liquor needs, 9Liquor Land got introduced at the One Awadh Mall of Lucknow. This store held the biggest collection of liquor in the capital of Uttar Pradesh. This store was in partnership with Rannvijay. Today, Prateek has over eight stores of Liquor Land across India.  He aims to have over Liquor Land 10 stores by the end of 2021. These stores are all managed by Prateek and Rannvijay together.

    He co-owns Erica Ventures with Rannvijay Singha, the celebrity known for MTV Roadies and various films. Prateek holds the franchise master owner position, while Rannvijay is the master rights partner to the company. Being a serial entrepreneur, he never stopped or looked back and started another business under Erica Ventures – Pizza Guyz, a Poland-based concept known for its delicious and tempting offerings. Adding another eatery to his portfolio, Prateek started franchising Hudson Chopsticks with Rannvijay, having 35 outlets across the country. This eatery comes under his second company, the Big Wok Food Retail Pvt Ltd.

    Prateek believes that all the success he is achieving in his business is a joint effort for him and his partners, including Rannvijay, Dev Dhingra, Rinu Maurya, Rekha Singh and Nikhil Mukhi.

  • HSM’s ‘Psychology and Mental Health’ Internship Programme Attracted A Whopping 2200 Students From Across India

    New Delhi, (India), September 23: The country’s largest and most selective internship programme for high school students on ‘Psychology and Mental Health’ was recently concluded by High School Moms (HSM), India’s largest parent, student, and educator community.HSM collaborated with INACE (International Alliance of Counsellors and Educators) to bring this learning and research-based internship.

    HSM’s High School Student Internship attracted 2200 students from 120 schools from all over India. It was held in collaboration with Huron University in Canada and Flame University in India, with the goal of assisting students in developing research, critical thinking, case study analysis, and video presentation skills. The partner universities awarded scholarships and awards to deserving students who demonstrated desired initiatives and skills.

    Leading mental health experts from across the country and worldwide were invited to speak at the seminar. They held workshops to help students learn how to deal with difficult psychological situations. The growing reliance on social media and its impact on impressionable young minds were also discussed in-depth, as were mitigation strategies, with a focus on the nuances and benefits of group discussion. Following the presentation’s conclusion, the presenters invited their young audience to share their own thoughts and solutions for dealing with emerging issues.

    Talking about the event, Mr Abhishek Gupta, Founder and CEO of HSM and INACE, says, “I’m glad we had such a large turnout in terms of registrations.   • Revolutionising the way Indians eat: WellnessOn is ushering the healthy eating revolution in India

    Hyderabad, September 23: Santosh Manchala has been a true inspiration for many of our generation. He proved on the big stage that hard work and dedication is what matters to succeed in life. Manchala gave up his formal education after completing his SSC, and financial restraints confronted him with difficult choices to make. He started to work as a computer operator and later switched to becoming a front desk executive. Moving back to Hyderabad, this time, Santosh got a position as a technical support associate. Working for eight months, Santosh decided to complete his masters and got admitted to Swami Vivekananda PG College in Secunderabad to complete his MBA.

    He worked several part-time jobs during his MBA and later found a great opportunity with the Bank of America after completing his MBA. During his time at his new job, Manchala upskilled himself and got trained in the proficient use of Oracle applications which allowed him to make a switch to the IT industry. Moving to the IT sector, Manchala joined AppLabs. This switch proved to be critical since his next organisation, Triniti Corporation, gave him an H1B visa to the US, which allowed him to open a new chapter in his career. In September of 2017, he became a part of Weight Watchers, one of the world’s leading weight loss firms.

  • Subrat Dutta, Victor Banerjee and film – JOSEF – BORN IN GRACE

    September 23: Noted actor Subrat Dutta has bagged the BEST ACTOR AWARD at the 6th DIFF for his intense portrayal of the character of Josef in the film Josef – Born in the Grace. Uttrakhand’s Tourism Minister Satpal Maharaj has handed over the trophy to Subrat Dutta during the Closing Ceremony. Subrat Dutta, National School of Drama Graduate, has acted in Hindi films like films like TalaashTango CharlieZameenThe ShaukeensRakhcharitraBhootnath Returns and Bengali films Chaturanga, Bibar and Jor. Subrat has been awarded with the Best Actor Award before at the Osian’s-Cinefan Film Festival in Delhi for Bengali film Bibar and also in the Egypt Film Festival for the Hindi film Madholal Keep Walking.

    Santanu Ganguly said, “The film festivals should more and more focus on good content and not only glamour. Artists like Mita Vashisht, Vinay Pathak, Akhilendra Mishra and Subrat Dutta should be the stars of film festivals, not the popular actors of Hindi films. We are glad that in a small but with honest intention, we are trying to pay our humble respects to the tremendous performers of the Indian film industries.”

    The 6th DIFF honoured the veteran actor Victor Banerjee with the LIFETIME ACHIEVEMENT AWARD for his immense contribution towards Cinema. He has acted in films made by veteran Hollywood filmmakers Roman Polanski, James Ivory, Sir David Lean, Jerry London, Ronald Neame, and Indian masters like – Satyajit Ray, Mrinal Sen, Shyam Benegal, Ram Gopal Varma, Bangladeshi filmmaker Montazur Rahman Akbar. He won the National film award for Best Supporting Actor for the film Ghare Baire. He has acted in Bengali, Hindi and Assamese films besides the English films of Hollywood. In 6th

    DIFF, Victor Banerjee and Subrat Dutta acted film Josef – Born in the Grace shown as the Closing Film of the festival. Josef – Born in the Grace, directed by internationally acclaimed director Sushant Misra and produced by Ashok Mahapatra. Victor Banerjee said, “many film festivals and organising wanted to honour me with the Lifetime Achievement Award, but I refused them gently, but I am happily accepting the Lifetime Achievement Award in Dehradun because I made Mussoorie my home 20 years ago. The film is entirely based and completely shot in Uttrakhand, and the festival is Dehradun International Film Festival, so this time I have all the reason to accept the honour.” Union Minister Arjun Ram Meghwal presented the trophy to the veteran actor at the Closing Ceremony of the 6th DIFF.

    Santanu Ganguly, Festival Curator and Artistic Director of DIFF, said, “honouring the persona like Victor Banerjee is like Ganga pujan with Ganga Jal, means honouring him is in a way being honoured by the blessings of the veteran actor.”

    Noted actors Mita Vashisht, Vinay Pathak, Akhilendra Mishra, Vindu Dara Singh, Aisharya Rajnikant, veteran Hindi film producer and director K C Bokadia, former FTII Chairperson Gajendra Chauhan, Internationally acclaimed filmmaker Susant Misra, Producer Ashok Mahapatra were among the guests of the 6th edition of the Dehradun International Film Festival.
