New Delhi (India), June 6: Actor Producer Faisal Khan and Rahul Khan have collaborated on a crucial film called Beti Hindustan Ki. The duo launched the trailer for the film, which has received a fantastic response from the audience. The film stars Faisal along with Aaqib Bilal, Manoj Bakshi, and Bobby Kumar. The shooting happened during the pandemic in Delhi, Mathura, Agra, Lucknow, Ghaziabad, Hapur and many more.

Beti Hindustan Ki is about women’s power. The makers revealed that it is a story of a small girl abandoned by her parents. The girl is adopted by Kinnars. When the girl grows up, she becomes an IPS officer. The film highlights women’s empowerment and respects the kinnar community deserves.

Faisal and Rahul also want to show how people become unhappy when a girl is born, even in today’s time. They want to show the reality where people still abandon their child if it’s a girl.

In Beti Hindustan Ki, actor Faisal Khan from the USA will also play a cop named Inspector Chulbul Pandey. Khan is also the executive producer of the film. About the film, Faisal says, “I am very happy to see the response for the trailer, especially on Instagram. We made this film to send an important message. I hope people take the message and get inspired to not differentiate between any gender.”

Rahul Khan, the film director, has worked very hard to make sure the film happens. Rahul is known for directing music videos and short movies. About Beti Hindustan Ki, Rahul says, “It has been an honour to work on such a significant issue we know happens in the society. It’s a first step towards changing the way people look at others. I am happy that people have loved the trailer.”

Actor Amaan F. Khan on his new music video, Darmiyaan

June 6: Actor Amaan F. Khan struck a chord with the audience in his debut music video Darmiyaan, which released last week. On being asked about the song, Amaan said “Darmiyaan tells a story of love and heartbreak. The song will definitely capture listeners’ hearts.”

Hailing from Delhi, the actor made his debut with a cameo role in Sudhir Mishra’s film Inkaar, starring Arjun Rampal and Chitrangada Singh in leading roles. Next, he was seen alongside Tanuj Virvani in Joe Rajan’s film Luv U Soniyo.

But it was National Award-winning director Ananth Mahadevan’s film Rough Book that really put Amaan F. Khan on the map. Affectionately known as “Google baba” in the movie, Amaan played the main protagonist and received exceptional reviews for his acting skills, with some calling him “a talent to watch”. The film starred other renowned actors, including Tannishtha Chatterjee, Ram Kapoor, Suhasini Mulay, and Kaizaad Kotwaal, and went on to win several international awards.

Amaan F. Khan states, “I really enjoy the process of acting. It’s a fantastic craft that I hold high regard for. When I play a scene, I like to get into the skin of the character. In my perspective, our role as artists is to serve the plot, the director, and most importantly the audience.”

As destiny played its part, Darmiyaan’s producer Akash Gupta and Amaan met because of Rough Book. Akash Gupta stated, “I met Amaan bhai after his film Rough Book released on Amazon Prime and had been determined to do a project with him since then. An actor should be likable in my opinion. Amaan is attractive, talented, and competent, and he is also a producer’s actor”.

In a complete turnaround, Amaan was last seen in an action-thriller web series ‘Bullets’ on MX Player alongside Sunny Leone and Karishma Tanna. Released last year, the six-episode series toplined his act as a Haryanvi cop. Amaan modestly adds “I was born in Delhi, and we shifted to Gurgaon in my early teens, which is where I actually grew up. Being raised in Gurgaon means having to hear and talk a lot in Haryanvi. So, playing the part of the cop with a Haryanvi dialect in Bullets was easy”.

Furthermore, the actor is currently in talks for two more web shows and is looking forward to additional opportunities to showcase his craft. The path to success is often challenging and has its ups and downs. To this, Amaan candidly says, “If you pray for rain, you gotta deal with the mud too”.

Darmiyaan, featuring Amaan F. Khan in a leading role, is out now. New Delhi (India), June 4: Nirmal Pathak Ki Ghar Wapsi, headlined by Vaibhav Tatwawadi, found its shining moment at the recently concluded Dallas South Asian Film Festival. The film went on to win two awards, which included the Best Actor gong for Vaibhav. Streaming on Sony Liv, the movie stars Alka Amin, Vineet Kumar, Pankaj Jha, Akash Makhija, Kumar Saurabh, Garima Srivastav and Ishita Ganguly, amongst others.

For Vaibhav, the series tells the story of a man’s journey to find his roots. The actor flawlessly plays the role of Nirmal, a man who returns to his village after many years in Delhi and London to realise that he needs to shake things up. Battling opposition from all quarters, it’s about his win to fight patriarchal thinking.

He tells us, “It’s the job of artists to tell meaningful stories and chase parts that are well fleshed out. I found that perfect confluence in this movie. Sony Liv as a platform is backing storytellers to create content that isn’t limited fearlessly. The win is humbling and overwhelming for me. I wasn’t expecting it at all. His dubbed flicks sparked a YouTube frenzy. This massive movie marks Ram Pothineni’s 20th film, and he recently wrapped up shooting for ‘The Warriorr.’

Talking about the collaboration, Srinivasaa Chhitturi said, “we are delighted to present the film, helmed by Boyapati Sreenu. It’s a pleasure to work with our hero Ram Pothineni again so soon after ‘The Warriorr.’ It is a prestigious film coming from our banner. We are producing this film with high technical standards and a bigger budget. We intend to release the film worldwide in Telugu, Tamil, Hindi, Kannada, and Malayalam.”

Boyapati Sreenu has come up with a superb story loaded with mass elements that have thrilled both the producer and the actor. More details about the film, including its heroine and other cast and crew members, will be made shortly.

The event on this scale has not happened for more than two years due to covid restrictions. It is the first time such an event is happening in Mumbai after a long period, Punish said. Informing about various other events, he said that he was in touch with other artists as well to ensure that the entire calendar is full of such amazing events.
