Mumbai (Maharashtra) [India], December 13: Shantala, a dance-centric period drama based on the true events on a popular legend in Karnataka, Will be releasing on December 15th. Nihal Kodhaty, who shot to fame with Butterfly, The Story of A Beautiful Girl and Panchatantra Kathalu, pairs up opposite Ashlesha Thakur for the period drama. The latter rose to prominence with her appearance in shows like The Family Man and the spiritual drama Sarvam Shakthi Mayam.

Seshu Peddi Reddy is directing Shantala, a film backed by Irrinki Suresh under Indo American Arts under the supervision of KS Rama Rao’s Creative Commercials. Irrinki Subbalakshmi is the presenter of the film. Vishal Chandrasekhar, after tasting success with Sita Ramam last year, scores the music for the drama. Two songs from the film released to encouraging responses in the recent weeks.

Mahesh Bhatt has released a big statement regarding this movie. He states that this movie will be a game changer and people will leave OTT and move to the theatres for films like this. In the era where commercial films attract more attention, People will be inspired to make films on this kind of pattern.

The makers have confirmed that the film is releasing in theatres on December 15. The team is confident that Shantala has all the makings of a meaningful film and is optimistic about its prospects at the box office and on OTT.

While KS Rama Rao was reluctant about associating with the film, US-based producers entrusted the veteran with its execution. The makers are aware that the film is likely to get its due more on OTT than in theatres. However, they assure Shantala will be a compelling big-screen experience with a riveting premise, good music and cinematography. The director took nearly a year and a half to write the script.

In a recent interaction, Ashlesha Thakur said that the film is close to her heart, given her dancing and musical interests and she had to learn the language before shooting it. She also stated that it is always good to play real characters in reel life as they give you a life long experience. Veena Nair and Vinod Kumar are also part of the cast. Sai Madhav Burra has written the dialogues for Shantala while Sashank Upputuri is the editor. R Ramesh has handled the camera.

“Shantala” Hindi Movie Produced by Suresh Irrinki, K.S. Ramarao and Irrinki Subbalakshmi under the production banner Indo American Arts is all set to release on 15th of December, 2023. The movie features Manju Bhargavi, Nihal Kodhaty, Vinod Kumar , Rekha nirosha, Falguni, Anand Chakrapani and the family man fame Ashlesha thakur as the main characters, directed by Peddireddy Seshu Babu. Cinematography by R.Ramesh, Music by one and only Vishal Chandrashekhar. PR done by Sanjay Bhushan Patiyala. It is a multilingual film releasing in Telugu, Hindi, Kannada, Tamil, Marathi and Malayalam in nearby theatres.

The four-hour extravaganza will flag off at 4 pm with stellar and multiple opening acts, followed by specially curated dance performances by Bollywood A-listers, including Shahid Kapoor, Nora Fatehi and Malaika Arora. Sunil Grover promises a laugh riot with his multiple-characters comedy acts while singer Yo Yo Honey Singh will have feet tapping, fingers clicking and hearts tripping with many of his biggest hits.

Nora released her debut album Pepeta in 2019, has collaborated with international artists like RedOne and Rahma Raid and was a part of the 2022 FIFA World Cup’s anthem Light The Sky. 

Along with Nora, Malaika Arora, who has been performing live for several years now, will also set the stage on fire. “It’s time to celebrate Bollywood with an unforgettable show. The Metaverse already has nearly everything the real world has – gaming, retail, shopping, land, and of course MUSIC. While the technology is still in its relative infancy, there are already some established platforms that are hosting music events in the Metaverse, creating an increasingly attractive option for artists who are looking for unconventional ways to connect with their audience.

Ahmedabad (Gujarat) [India], November 27: Social media sensation Viraj Ghelani is all set to make his debut in Gujarati cinema with the Horror comedy “Jhamkudi” produced by Parthiv Gohil and Manasi Parekh under their banner “Soul Sutra Studios”.

“It will be an out and out entertainer with equal amounts of thrill to keep the audience hooked till the end”, says director Umang Vyas.

Soul Sutra Studios, after producing hit films like “Golkeri” and “Kutch Express,” is set to cast a spell on audiences once again with “Jhamkudi”. The production house has officially announced the commencement of filming on November 25th, with a slated release for 2024.

Alongside Viraj is a stellar cast featuring renowned actors Manasi Parekh, Sanjay Goradia, Ojas Rawal, Chetan Daiya, Nisarg Trivedi and others. The combination of seasoned performers promises an unforgettable cinematic experience, blending the chills of horror with the belly laughs of comedy.

Manasi Parekh is famous for her work in Hindi serials, movies and ads. And is also doing incredible work in Gujarati films. “Producing Jhamkudi is exciting as the team we are working with is dynamic. We want to make content that pushes the envelope all the time”.

Parthiv gohil has rocked audiences across the world with his dynamic stage performance and songs in Hindi and Gujarati films. He has also worked with corporates like Reliance, in music curation and production. Stepping into his role as film producer he says “Manasi and me have always wanted to keep experimenting with different genres. I am very excited as we have lots of new things we are working on”.

Teaming up with Manasi and Parthiv in Soul Sutra Studios is Mr. Dhaval Thakkar of RD Brothers.

The film is set to take audiences on a rollercoaster ride of emotions, weaving together elements of horror and comedy in a unique and entertaining narrative.
