  • Bhageria Industries Limited commences commercial production of New Product “Plasticizers and Ethoxylates”

Bhageria Industries Limited commences commercial production of New Product “Plasticizers and Ethoxylates”

Mumbai (Maharashtra) [India], October 9: Bhageria Industries Limited,  a specialty chemicals manufacturer, has today announced the launch of a new Plasticizers & Ethoxylates product line in a regulatory disclosure under SEBI’s Regulation 30, on October 8, 2025.

The launch was enabled by the Consent to Operate granted by the Maharashtra Pollution Control Board (MPCB) on October 7, 2025.

The newly launched plasticizers are engineered to enhance polymer properties — notably flexibility and durability in PVC — which are critical for applications in cables, flooring, footwear, and automotive components. The company aims to serve both domestic and international markets, leveraging increasing demand in polymer-based value chains.

Earlier, Bhageria Industries Limited revealed plans to expand its H-Acid production capacity from 400 metric tonnes per month (MT/M) to 500 MT/M at the same Tarapur facility. This 100 MT/M capacity addition is expected to be completed within six months, with an estimated investment of ₹5 crore, funded via internal accruals. Given that current capacity utilization stands at roughly 95%, the expansion is projected to add approximately ₹50–55 crore to annual revenue, helping the company meet growing demand in the dyes and pigments sector.

“The launch of Plasticizers & Ethoxylates and the planned H-Acid capacity enhancement represent our commitment to deepening product capability and capturing new growth avenues, said Suresh Bhageria, Chairman of Bhageria Industries Limited. These initiatives are designed to reinforce our position in specialty chemicals and deliver value to stakeholders through sustainable expansion.”

Together, the new product line and capacity expansion underscore Bhageria’s strategic focus on portfolio diversification, operational excellence, and demand-driven growth in high-potential chemical segments.

  • Manini Chadha Shines Alongside Varun Dhawan, Janhvi Kapoor in Dharma Productions’ Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari

Manini Chadha Shines Alongside Varun Dhawan, Janhvi Kapoor in Dharma Productions’ Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari

Mumbai (Maharashtra) [India], October 9: After working on a string of remarkable films and web series, the versatile and talented actor Manini Chadha is thrilled with the success of Dharma Productions’ latest hit, Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari, featuring Varun Dhawan, Janhvi Kapoor, Sanya Malhotra, and Rohit Saraf. With box office numbers steadily rising, Manini’s nuanced performance is being widely praised by audiences, drawing them straight into the emotional core of the film’s narrative.

In the film directed by Shashank Khaitan, Manini Chadha plays the pivotal character of Rakhee, who serves as an emotional anchor in the story and adds both warmth and depth to this light-hearted romantic narrative. While Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari is filled with laughter, love, and celebration, Manini’s layered portrayal brings realism to Rakhee’s journey, capturing the everyday push and pull between dreams and duties in a wealthy yet patriarchal family she marries into. Her presence beautifully complements the film’s blend of fun and emotion, ensuring that Rakhee’s story resonates with the audience.

Speaking about the film, Manini shares, “I am grateful for the opportunity to work with Dharma Productions, and especially for how effortlessly this film came to me. I got a call from Mukesh Chhabra’s office, and soon after, Shashank gave me a brief narration of the story and offered me the part. He’s not only an amazing director but also an absolutely wonderful human being. A lot of people don’t know that Shashank was really unwell during a big chunk of the shoot, yet not for a second did he let anyone feel the pain he was going through. His zen energy and cheerful attitude set the tone for all of us and made the entire experience truly special. I loved every moment I experienced and everything I learned while working on this film. With his clarity of vision, he knows exactly how to bring out the performances he wants, while also giving actors the space to bring their own perspective to the screen.”

Sharing her experience of working with the star-studded cast and recalling her favorite memories from the film’s sets, she adds, “Working with Varun, Janhvi, Sanya, and Rohit was an absolute blast. We all got along really well and had such a great time shooting together. Varun is so grounded and affable and such a joy to work with, while people often don’t realize how smart and funny Janhvi actually is. Sanya is just adorable and has such a good head on her shoulders, and Rohit is the sweetest, cutest, and most earnest boy. We spent almost a month shooting at Raffles in Udaipur, and that entire schedule was magical. When we weren’t shooting, we’d be eating together, working out together, or just hanging out; it was such a wholesome, family-like vibe. The Holi song ‘Panwadi’ was another highlight. By the end of it, everyone, including the crew, was actually playing Holi! It turned into a real celebration.”

Having made her Bollywood debut with Sujoy Ghosh’s Kahaani 2, Manini Chadha has also starred in web series such as Faadu(dir. Ashwiny Iyer Tiwari) and Commando (dir. Vipul A. Shah). She has also worked with celebrated filmmakers like Nitesh Tiwari, Vikramaditya Motwane, and Shoojit Sircar on numerous ad films.

As Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari continues to win hearts across the country, Manini Chadha’s poised and layered performance stands out, reaffirming her place as one of the most promising actors of her generation.

  • TEAM returns with MumbaiHacks 2025: 3,000+ innovators compete for up to ₹50 lakhs in cash and rewards at India’s premier Agentic AI hackathon

TEAM returns with MumbaiHacks 2025: 3,000+ innovators compete for up to ₹50 lakhs in cash and rewards at India’s premier Agentic AI hackathon

Mumbai (Maharashtra) [India], October 9: MumbaiHacks 2025, organized by the Tech Entrepreneurs Association of Mumbai (TEAM) and Made in Mumbai, a non-profit developers community, returns with its most ambitious edition yet, challenging India’s brightest tech minds to harness the power of Agentic AI. Scheduled for November 28-29, 2025 at NESCO Mumbai, the hackathon will offer up to ₹50 lakhs worth of prizes and rewards for teams that can build intelligent, autonomous models capable of solving real-world problems across three critical sectors, Healthtech, Fintech and Misinformation.

Following its achievement of the Guinness World Record for the Largest Gen AI Hackathon last year, MumbaiHacks 2025 will shift its focus to the next frontier of artificial intelligence: Agentic AI. Unlike Generative AI, which creates content based on prompts, or traditional AI that follows pre-programmed rules, Agentic AI represents a paradigm shift towards autonomous systems. It can perceive their environment, make decisions, take actions, and continuously learn without constant human intervention. These intelligent agents can proactively identify problems, devise strategies, and execute solutions, marking a transformative leap in how technology interacts with complex, real-world challenges.

The hackathon provides participants access to capital, mentorship, and high-impact networks, empowering tech enthusiasts, early professionals, and future founders to build, launch, and scale their innovations.  It will feature three high-impact tracks, each focused on solving critical, real-world challenges through autonomous and intelligent solutions. In the Healthtech track, participants will design predictive hospital management systems capable of responding to dynamic conditions such as festivals, pollution spikes, and epidemics. These agentic systems will analyze multiple data streams to forecast patient surges and proactively recommend optimal staffing levels, supply allocations, and public advisories—helping healthcare facilities stay prepared and resilient in times of uncertainty.

The Fintech track will challenge teams to build adaptive financial coaching agents that learn from individual user behavior, synthesize diverse financial data sources, and deliver personalized, real-time recommendations. This innovation is particularly vital for gig workers, informal sector employees, and others with irregular income patterns who often remain beyond the reach of conventional financial advisory systems.

The Misinformation track will push innovators to create AI agents capable of scanning vast content ecosystems to detect emerging misinformation trends during crises; be it pandemics, conflicts, or climate events. These systems will verify claims through cross-referencing and generate accessible, contextual explanations to help audiences navigate a flood of conflicting information with greater clarity and confidence.

MumbaiHacks 2025 exemplifies the city’s rapid transformation into India’s most dynamic startup ecosystem. With over 3,000 participants expected and backing from 85+ unicorns and soonicorns through TEAM, the event positions Mumbai as the next major tech and startup powerhouse. The city’s entrepreneurial momentum is backed by impressive fundamentals: 67% of Mumbai’s unicorns are profitable, (the highest in India) and AI-driven enterprises are projected to contribute 15% of the city’s GDP growth by 2035. With 250+ AI startups incubated at IIT-Bombay and top engineering institutions producing 35,000+ engineers annually, Mumbai is nurturing the next generation of AI innovators.

Naiyya Saggi, Governing Council Member, TEAM spokesperson shared, “Agentic AI is the technological intersection where innovation meets autonomy. Beyond standard content generation, we’re building next-gen systems that think, adapt, and act independently to solve critical problems. MumbaiHacks 2025 will challenge and inspire participants to move beyond passive AI tools and create intelligent agents that can transform healthcare delivery, financial inclusion, and information integrity. This is a direct glimpse into the future of AI, replete with its possibilities, and Mumbai is leading the charge.”

Open to participants over 18, the competition will follow a rigorous two-round format. Round 1, the online shortlisting phase running until October 17th, invites teams to submit their proposed solutions. Expert mentors will evaluate submissions based on innovation potential, pain points addressed, target audience, and go-to-market strategy. During Round 2 on November 28-29, shortlisted teams will bring their solutions to life, with the top teams from each track pitching to a panel of judges for their share of the ₹50 lakh prize pool.

The panel of judges for MumbaiHacks 2025 includes PritiRathi Gupta, Founder, LXME (Fintech Track); Siddharth Shah, Co-Founder, PharmEasy (Healthtech Track); Arjun Vaidya, CEO, Dr. Vaidya’s (Healthtech Track); Ashok Hariharan, CEO, IDfy (Misinformation Track) and Deepit Purkayastha, Co-Founder & CEO, Inshorts (Misinformation Track).

  • India Pride IMLI – The Archer Who Aims for Glory

India Pride IMLI – The Archer Who Aims for Glory

New Delhi [India], October 8: When passion meets precision, miracles happen. India Pride IMLI – The Archer isn’t just a movie, it’s a bullseye aimed straight at India’s conscience. Written, directed, and produced by Swatantra (Savi) Goel, this film fires a powerful arrow through themes of grit, gender, and opportunity.

A Tribal Girl with a Bow, and a Dream

Releasing October 17, 2025, across India, India Pride IMLI – The Archer is not your routine sports drama. It’s a salute to raw talent, the kind you can’t manufacture in elite academies.

At its core is IMLI, played by Prasanna Bist, an Adivasi girl whose natural archery talent could give seasoned athletes a run for their medals. She’s never trained, never seen a sports camp, yet her aim is sharper than most who do.

Enter a government sports officer, who spots her talent by sheer accident while passing through her village. In that one scene, destiny flips. He convinces her reluctant parents to let Imli train at his academy, marking the start of her journey from anonymity to national recognition.

India Pride IMLI – The Archer: A Tribal Girl’s Journey to National Glory - PNN

    The Rise of a Champion

Under the guidance of her selfless coach, Mr Iyer (Vikram Kochhar), Imli evolves from an untrained prodigy into a National Archery Champion. However, this isn’t a typical overnight success montage. The film, like life, makes her earn every inch of progress. Sweat, discipline, rejection, repeat.

Director Savi Goel doesn’t romanticise the struggle. He respects it. The storytelling is emotional, yes, but never manipulative. Every victory feels deserved, every setback punches harder because it’s real.

In a world where social media “success” is often just one viral clip away, India Pride IMLI reminds us that authentic achievement is built on hard work, not hashtags.

Savi Goel: Banker Turned Dream Builder

Let’s talk about the man behind the lens. Swatantra (Savi) Goel, once a senior officer at State Bank of India, traded balance sheets for storyboards. After migrating to the U.S. and experiencing success there, he returned to India in 2016 to pursue his original dream: cinema that means something.

And he’s serious about it. Eight films in eight years. Each rooted in social relevance, family values, and emotional depth, this refreshing combination stands out in a market obsessed with glossy thrillers and remakes.

    Goel’s creative manifesto is simple:

“Cinema should not just entertain, it should elevate.”

That mindset shines through India Pride IMLI. It’s entertainment with a backbone.

The Message: Talent Doesn’t Need a Pincode

The story hits a universal nerve, but its roots are proudly Indian. Imli’s transformation mirrors the dreams of thousands of girls from tribal, rural, and economically disadvantaged families; young women who often go unnoticed in the crowd, despite possessing extraordinary gifts.

The film aligns beautifully with initiatives like Khelo India, proving how the right ecosystem can change destinies. Government sports schemes, often dismissed as bureaucratic exercises, take on a human dimension here.

It’s a cinematic shoutout to rural India: you don’t need privilege to aim high, just purpose.

    Performances That Hit the Mark

    • Prasanna Bist (Imli): She doesn’t act the role, she lives it. Bist captures the innocence of a village girl and the fierce focus of an athlete with startling authenticity.
    • Vikram Kochhar (Mr Iyer): His portrayal of a selfless mentor gives the film its emotional core. Kochhar blends tough love and tenderness like a craftsman.
    • Supporting Cast: Harshad Shinde, Maan Singh Meena, Ratan Lal, Jyoti, and Pragya Mishra (a promising new talent) lend solid performances that anchor the narrative.

Add to that Dushyant Dubey’s emotionally rich music and Raaja Phadtare’s clean, vivid cinematography, and the result is a film that looks and feels premium without losing authenticity.

The Soundtrack: Three Songs, One Emotion

The movie features three songs, each positioned to amplify the emotional and motivational journey rather than serve as filler. Dushyant Dubey’s score moves between earthy tribal rhythms and uplifting orchestral notes, a blend that perfectly matches Imli’s evolution.

    It’s not a jukebox film; it’s a musical narrative.

Behind the Scenes: A Tight Crew, One Vision

Digital promotions and PR are facilitated through DigitalExpoWorld, a long-time collaborator of Goel. The synergy is evident: every element, from editing to marketing, reflects the same creative clarity.

Goel has already penned three more scripts ready for production, keeping his streak of “one meaningful movie a year” alive. He’s built a niche: cinema with conscience.

    Cinema with Social Muscle

In an era when many filmmakers chase trends, Goel chases truth. His work bridges the gap between aspiration and accessibility, between India’s metropolitan areas and its rural villages.

India Pride IMLI isn’t designed for red carpets alone. It’s meant to travel, to schools, sports academies, small-town theatres, and living rooms that need a reminder: the next champion might be drinking tap water from a mud pot today.

This film doesn’t sell poverty; it celebrates potential.

A Personal Dream, A National Message

For Goel, this isn’t just another release; it’s a statement. He calls it a film “for families and youth alike,” not because it plays it safe, but because it plays it true.

His journey from banker to filmmaker mirrors Imli’s: both traded stability for passion, both fought systems, both aimed for something bigger than comfort.

And it’s that parallel that gives India Pride IMLI its quiet power.

India’s Next Chapter: Stories That Matter

If Indian cinema is to evolve beyond box-office math, it needs stories like this, rooted in emotion, driven by honesty, and backed by craftsmanship.

The movie industry is full of franchises, sequels, and universe-building gimmicks. But Goel’s approach is refreshingly human. He’s building something else entirely: a legacy.

    Release and Expectations

Set for a nationwide release on October 17, 2025, India Pride IMLI – The Archer is already generating buzz among family audiences, educators, and sports enthusiasts. Goel is optimistic, and rightly so. With an inspiring narrative, tight storytelling, and heartfelt performances, this one has the potential to become a modern Indian classic.

It’s not just another underdog story; it’s India’s story.

    Aiming Higher

When asked what keeps him motivated after eight back-to-back films, Goel’s answer is disarmingly simple:

“Every story I tell has to make someone believe again.”

And that’s precisely what India Pride IMLI does, it makes you believe. In talent. In grit. In the idea that a tribal girl with a bow can take on the nation and win.
