PW IOI Launches Two-Year Professional Management Program in Product Management, Business Analytics and Startup Leadership

The program is available at the Bengaluru Campus. Admissions are now open for the inaugural 2026-28 batch

Bengaluru (Karnataka) [India], June 06: PhysicsWallah Institute of Innovation (PW IOI) has launched a two-year full-time Professional Management Program (PMP) at its Bengaluru campus. The program offers two specialisations: Product Management & Business Analytics (PBA) and Startup & Business Leadership (SBL), designed for students building careers in product management, analytics, and entrepreneurship. Upon completion, students will receive a degree conferred by Medhavi Skills University.

The curriculum opens with a common first semester, covering business economics, financial literacy, marketing, general management, and communication. From Semester 2, students diverge into their chosen tracks. PBA students study product management, business intelligence tools (SQL, Power BI, Tableau), UI/UX, digital marketing, and MVP development. SBL students focus on venture building, opportunity identification, venture finance, unit economics, design thinking, and intellectual property.

AI tools are embedded across all four semesters, from Excel automation and data storytelling in Semester 1 to no-code platforms including Claude Code, n8n, Emergent, and Lovable in Semester 2. The tools are treated as an everyday working skill rather than a standalone subject. Practical applications run through both tracks. PBA students’ complete simulation-based industry projects and a Business Intelligence capstone. SBL students follow a structured, milestone-driven venture-building journey: 200+ customer interviews, MVP development, go-to-market execution, and a live pitch before 50+ investors in Semester 3, where top teams may receive real term sheet interest. In the final semester, PBA students move into placements and internships; SBL students choose between incorporating their own startup, with access to seed capital, government grants, or investor support via PW School of Startups (PW SoS) or interning within the startup ecosystem.

The program is open to graduates of any discipline who have scored at least 50% in 10th, 12th and Undergraduation. Candidates are evaluated on a 100-point admissions scorecard: entrance or professional score, personal interview, work experience, academic record, and diversity. Accepted entrance examinations include CAT, XAT, SNAP, NMAT, CMAT, MAT, KMAT, Karnataka PGCET, CA Foundation/Inter, and UPSC CSE. Shortlisted candidates will appear for a 30-minute personal interview conducted by PW IOI leaders and faculty. The application process begins with a registration fee.

Program fees start at ₹10,00,000 for the 2026–28 batch, payable across four semesters. A scholarship pool of up to ₹3 crore is available for meritorious students, with hostel accommodation available separately as well. The students will be mentored by faculty who bring real-world expertise and professional experience to the classrooms.

On the launch, Gopal Sharma, Chief Operating Officer, PhysicsWallah (PW) said, “We built this program around a simple belief, that the best way to learn anything is to practice it. By the time our students reach Semester 3, they’re not writing case studies about startups; they’re pitching live to investors for real term sheets. They aren’t just learning about data tools; they’re using them to solve real-world industry problems.  At PW IOI, our vision has always been to prepare students for the industry and help them gain real- world skills through specialised programs, live industry exposure, and practice-led learning.

PW IOI’s Professional Management Program is part of a broader push to make higher education practice-oriented and outcome-driven. Alongside the PMP, the institute offers a four-year undergraduate program in Computer Science and AI in partnership with Medhavi Skills University, with campuses in Bengaluru, Noida, Lucknow, and Pune.

  • RISE Institute Announces 15+ IIT Selections; Six Girls from J&K Feature in 2026 Success List

RISE Institute Announces 15+ IIT Selections; Six Girls from J&K Feature in 2026 Success List

Qualified students at RISE campus in Srinagar, Jammu and Kashmir

Srinagar (Jammu & Kashmir) [India], June 02: RISE Institute, Srinagar’s leading coaching centre for JEE and NEET preparation, has announced 15+ IIT selections in JEE Advanced 2026, adding another milestone to its unbroken legacy as the only institute in Kashmir to have sent students to the IITs every single year since its founding in 2012.

The standout story of this year’s result is the selection of six girls from Jammu & Kashmir — Soliha, Hyfa, Nuha, and Ayesha from Kashmir, and Isma and Parveen from Kargil, Ladakh. Last year, three girls qualifying for IIT from Kashmir was an achievement so rare it made national headlines, drew a congratulatory tweet from the Chief Minister of Jammu & Kashmir, and was covered by The Hindu and The Indian Express. This year, RISE has doubled that number.

Particularly noteworthy are the two selections from Kargil — Isma and Parveen — from a region that has historically had limited access to structured IIT coaching. For Kargil, which sits at the edge of Ladakh and has long been underserved in terms of competitive exam preparation, these selections represent more than individual achievement. They signal that the aspiration and talent to reach India’s most prestigious engineering institutions exists far beyond the metros, and that the right guidance can unlock it.

The broader significance of six girls cracking IIT from Jammu & Kashmir cannot be overstated. In a region where societal pressures, limited role models, and geographical barriers have historically made it difficult for girls to pursue competitive engineering education, this result challenges every one of those narratives. Each name on this list — Soliha, Hyfa, Nuha, Ayesha, Isma, Parveen — becomes a reference point for the next girl in Kashmir or Kargil who dares to imagine an IIT.

RISE is the only institute in Kashmir to have maintained an unbroken streak of IIT selections year after year. With over 1,000 cumulative IIT and NIT selections since its inception, the institute has quietly built a track record that few coaching centres anywhere in the country can match on a per-student basis. Its students have gone on to study at IIT Bombay, IIT Delhi, IIT Kharagpur, IIT Roorkee, AIIMS, and even internationally at Princeton University and the University of Pennsylvania.

RISE was co-founded by Mubeen Masudi, an alumnus of IIT Bombay, and Salman Shahid and Imbesat Ahmad, both alumni of IIT Kharagpur. The three founders left behind careers elsewhere to invest in the educational future of Kashmir — a decision that has since transformed the academic trajectories of hundreds of students from the Valley and beyond. Co-founder Salman Shahid, who hails from Delhi, was honoured with the prestigious Young Alumni Achiever Award by IIT Kharagpur in recognition of his contribution to education in Kashmir through RISE.

The work of RISE has not gone unnoticed. The institute has been covered by leading national and international media houses including BBC, The Hindu, and The Indian Express, reflecting the wider recognition of what is being built in the Kashmir Valley. Each year’s result has drawn fresh attention to the story of a region rewriting its own educational narrative, one IIT seat at a time.

“Kashmir has always had brilliant minds. What it needed was the right environment and the belief that these dreams were achievable. Today’s result — 15+ IITs, six girls, two from Kargil — is proof that when you invest in students with sincerity, they surpass every expectation. We are immensely proud of each one of them, and we are just getting started.” — Mubeen Masudi, Co-founder, RISE Institute (IIT Bombay)

“When Soliha, Hyfa, Nuha, Ayesha, Isma, and Parveen cracked IIT, they didn’t just secure a seat at one of the world’s most competitive institutions — they told every young girl in Kashmir and Kargil that the door is open for her too. That is what moves us the most. The numbers matter, but these six names are a movement.” — Salman Shahid, Co-founder, RISE Institute (IIT Kharagpur)

As JEE Advanced 2026 results mark another chapter in RISE’s story, the institute remains focused on what it has always believed: that every student in Kashmir, regardless of background or geography, deserves access to the kind of preparation that gives them a genuine shot at the best institutions in the world. This year’s result is evidence that the mission is working.

    About RISE Institute

RISE Institute is Srinagar’s leading coaching centre for JEE and NEET preparation, with faculty from IITs and Government Medical Colleges. Known for small batch sizes, personalised mentoring, and an unmatched track record, RISE has placed students in IIT Bombay, IIT Delhi, IIT Kharagpur, IIT Roorkee, AIIMS, Princeton University, University of Pennsylvania, and beyond. RISE is the only institute in Kashmir to have sent students to IITs every year without interruption.

  • LanguageNext Marks 15 Years of French Courses for Canadian Immigration

LanguageNext Marks 15 Years of French Courses for Canadian Immigration

From a single Noida classroom to thousands of alumni now living and working in Canada, the language institute celebrates 15 years of preparing Indian candidates for TEF Canada and TCF Canada.

Noida (Uttar Pradesh) [India], May 30: LanguageNext, the Noida-based French and Spanish language institute, recently marked its 15th year of teaching Indian candidates for the French exams required by Canadian immigration. What began 15 years ago as a small classroom in Sector 18, Noida, has grown into one of India’s most established centers for preparing for TEF Canada and TCF Canada courses, with thousands of alumni who have settled, studied, or built careers in Canada.

The milestone arrives at a time when French-language proficiency has become a defining advantage for Indian applicants under Canada’s Express Entry system. Category-based draws introduced by Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) to support francophone communities outside Quebec have made strong French scores one of the fastest routes to permanent residency, often with lower Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) cut-offs than general rounds.

How French for Canada has changed in 15 years

When LanguageNext opened its doors, French for Canadian immigration was barely on the radar in India. Most candidates pursued English-only routes through the Federal Skilled Worker program, and TCF Canada and TEF Canada preparation classes were hard to find outside a handful of Delhi NCR institutes.

The conversation shifted across the next decade. Canada launched Express Entry in 2015, with a CRS that rewarded bilingual ability. In 2023, IRCC began holding category-based draws specifically for French-speaking candidates, often with CRS thresholds significantly lower than those in general rounds. For Indian applicants who could clear TEF or TCF at B1 or B2, the math changed almost overnight.

The LanguageNext teaching model evolved alongside these policy shifts. Curriculum updates, examiner-aligned rubrics, and dedicated mock test cycles were introduced each time the exams themselves were revised. Trainers tracked IRCC policy year by year and adjusted study plans so that a candidate enrolling today prepares for the version of the exam and the version of the immigration system they will actually face.

    The numbers behind 15 years

LanguageNext has trained thousands of candidates across DELF, TEF Canada, and TCF Canada since opening. Alumni include teachers in Montreal, IT professionals in Toronto, healthcare workers in Ottawa, and graduate students at universities in Quebec and New Brunswick. Many alumni have returned years later to refer family members or to enroll their own children in school-level French.

The Noida center has hosted hundreds of full TEF and TCF batches since opening, with cohorts ranging from college students preparing for post-graduation pathways to mid-career professionals building toward Express Entry. A growing share of our existing students work in francophone provinces, where strong French ability has opened doors that English alone could not.

“Fifteen years ago, when I taught my first TEF Canada batch in Noida, most Indian candidates thought of French as a difficult third option. Today, it is often the deciding factor in their immigration story. I have watched students walk in nervous about basic conjugations and leave eighteen months later with B2 results, Express Entry invitations, and plane tickets to Montreal. That is what the last 15 years have been about. Not just teaching a language, but opening a door that stays open for life.”

Vikash Gupta, Founder and Lead Trainer, LanguageNext

    What 15 years have built

The anniversary marks more than a date on a calendar. Over the years, LanguageNext has built a French teaching method tested against actual exam outcomes, with feedback loops from alumni who report back after their TEF and TCF results, and again after their landing in Canada. That practical feedback has shaped four core elements of the program:

    1. Speaking practice that mirrors the real oral exam, where most Indian candidates lose the most points.
    2. Writing drills calibrated against examiner notes, with line-by-line feedback within 48 hours.
    3. A timeline-driven study path that maps from A1 to B2 across 10 to 14 months for most learners.
    4. Mock test cycles modeled on the latest exam patterns, including the updated TEF/TCF Canada format.

    What comes next for LanguageNext

To mark the milestone, LanguageNext is rolling out a set of initiatives across the coming year. These include expanded live online TEF Canada and TCF Canada batches for candidates outside Delhi NCR and India, a 15th-anniversary scholarship for selected school students preparing for DELF, and a new workshop series on Canadian immigration pathways open to LanguageNext students and existing candidates.

Each initiative will be announced on the LanguageNext website throughout the year. Prospective candidates and current students can subscribe to updates through the institute’s newsletter.

    How to enroll

You can find course details, batch schedules, fees, trainer profiles, and the latest TEF Canada and TCF Canada dates at LanguageNext. Candidates can book a free counseling call by phone or WhatsApp via the website. Immigration consultancies, universities, and corporate teams can contact the LanguageNext team to request tailored preparation plans.

    About LanguageNext

Founded by Vikash Gupta, a linguist with more than a decade and a half of experience, the institute coaches children, school- and college-going candidates, and working professionals for DELF (A1-B2), TEF Canada, and TCF Canada. • Trustees Jairaj Thacker and Sujay Jairaj, Principal Sonali Gandhi, JNS Mumbai Blend Excellence with Holistic Learning – World News Network

Trustees Jairaj Thacker and Sujay Jairaj, Principal Sonali Gandhi, JNS Mumbai Blend Excellence with Holistic Learning – World News Network

Mumbai (Maharashtra) [India], May 28: Jamnabai Narsee School celebrates outstanding board results and continues to champion holistic education, emotional well-being, future-ready learning, and strong parent-school partnerships.

Under the leadership of Trustees Shri Jairaj Thacker and Principal Sonali Gandhi, JNS, Mumbai continues to strengthen its legacy as one of India’s leading educational institutions by integrating academic excellence with holistic development, emotional well-being, innovation, and value-based learning.

Rooted in the institution’s enduring philosophy of “Excellence through Endeavour,” the school remains committed to nurturing students who are academically competent and who also demonstrate character, compassion, resilience, and ethical grounding.

Speaking about the school’s vision in today’s rapidly evolving educational landscape, Principal Sonali Gandhi said, “In a world of AI, flux, and noise, our vision is to build children who have both competence and character. We don’t chase trends — we build humans who can think clearly, act ethically, and strive consistently, no matter how the landscape shifts.”

She acknowledged that the institution’s direction is inspired by the vision of Managing Trustee Shri Jairaj Thacker, whose belief in strong values and purposeful education has shaped generations of students into compassionate, responsible individuals prepared for an ever-changing world.

As Principal, Sonali Gandhi has focused on building a culture centred around “depth over speed, respect as practice, and joy as non-negotiable.”Under her leadership, JNS has cultivated an environment where effort is honoured, curiosity is encouraged, and excellence is nurtured as a lifelong habit rather than a momentary achievement.

The school recently achieved outstanding results in the 2026 board examinations, reinforcing its reputation for academic distinction. In the ISC Class 12 examinations, JNS secured a 100% pass result, with all 261 students successfully clearing the examinations. The cohort delivered exceptional performances across all streams, with 172 students scoring above 90% and the overall aggregate standing at 88.3%.

Among the top achievers were Shruti Mehta, who secured 99.25% in Humanities; Mokshaan Amit Jain scored 99.5% in Commerce, and Annanya Mitesh Desai, who achieved a perfect 100% in Science. Ranveer Nikhil Jain and Yuveer Amit Mulchandani both scored 99.75%, while Nitaant Nirav Meswani secured 99.5%.

In the ICSE Class 10 examinations, the school once again recorded a 100% result, with all 281 students passing with distinction. The aggregate stood at an impressive 92.12%, while 205 students scored above 90%. Leading the cohort were Kyna Jay Solanki with 99.6%, Agastya Sajeel Gupta and Jayvir Tejas Goradia with 99.4% each, followed by Shreyas Agarwal with 99.2%.

While celebrating these accomplishments, the school reiterated that marks alone do not define success. Principal Sonali Gandhi emphasised that board examination results are milestones in a child’s journey rather than the destination itself.

As exam pressure increases, she highlighted the school’s proactive approach to emotional well-being and mental health. “We normalise the pressure and equip students for it,” she said. “Through in-house counsellors, mindfulness sessions, open forums with parents, and ‘no comparison’ classrooms, we ensure students feel emotionally supported during demanding academic phases.”

    Narsee School

The school also places significant emphasis on sports and physical activity as essential tools for stress management and emotional resilience. Time spent on the field, recreational engagement, and team participation are viewed as equally important in helping students maintain balance, discipline, and self-belief.

JNS has continued to strengthen its parent-school ecosystem through an active, engaged PTA culture. The institution sees the PTA as a vital link between home and school, turning “Excellence through Endeavour” into a shared community practice.

From organising Grandparents’ Day and annual fun fairs to conducting parenting workshops, career talks, health initiatives, and sporting events, the PTA plays an integral role in student development and school culture. The relationship between parents and educators at JNS has evolved from passive communication to active partnership, built on dialogue, transparency, and mutual trust.

  • IIT Mandi and Imarticus Learning Bring AI Minor Degree to Colleges Nationwide

IIT Mandi and Imarticus Learning Bring AI Minor Degree to Colleges Nationwide

Mumbai (Maharashtra) [India], May 26: Imarticus Learning, a professional education company, has announced an institutional partnership initiative to enable colleges across India to offer an IIT Mandi-designed Minor Degree in Artificial Intelligence to undergraduate students.

The curriculum covers core and advanced areas, including Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Deep Learning, Generative AI, Natural Language Processing, Computer Vision, AI Deployment, and Real-World Applications. The programme follows a structured seven-semester learning pathway that gradually builds student capability from foundational concepts to advanced AI implementation and project-based learning.

The initiative lies in IIT Mandi’s academic leadership and institutional credibility. The curriculum has been designed and academically anchored by esteemed faculty from IIT Mandi, with online and IIT campus sessions delivered by IIT Mandi faculty. Students will benefit from exposure to an IIT-level academic ecosystem through immersive learning experiences and expert interactions.

A key differentiator of the initiative is that the IIT Mandi-designed AI Minor has been structured for engineering students, making advanced AI education accessible across disciplines. Integrated seamlessly within existing undergraduate programmes without disrupting core academics, the programme combines IIT-level academic rigour, industry-standard AI skills, hands-on projects, faculty interactions, and campus immersion opportunities to help students build practical, future-ready AI capabilities.

The programme is aligned with the multidisciplinary vision of NEP 2020 and structured in accordance with UGC undergraduate specialisation guidelines. The 24-credit AI Minor enables engineering students to pursue a formal specialisation in artificial intelligence alongside their primary degree without disrupting their core academic curriculum. Unlike short-term certifications or standalone training modules, the minor degree in artificial intelligence will be formally reflected on the student’s academic transcript, providing institutions and students with academically recognised credentials.

As an Institute of National Importance established under the Institutes of Technology Act of Parliament, IIT Mandi brings strong institutional standing and academic oversight to the initiative. This provides partner colleges with access to a credible, future-focused AI programme that combines academic depth, practical application, and industry relevance.

Through this partnership model, colleges can offer students access to an IIT Mandi-designed AI curriculum covering Python, SQL, data visualisation, machine learning, deep learning, computer vision, natural language processing, generative AI, LLMs, responsible AI, AI systems, and capstone-based project work.

Prof. Tushar Jain, Head CCE, IIT Mandi, added: “At IIT Mandi, we strongly believe that Artificial Intelligence is no longer a niche discipline — it is becoming a foundational capability across industries and domains. As technology continues to reshape how systems are built and decisions are made, it is critical that students are exposed to AI in a structured, rigorous, and application-oriented manner early in their academic journey.

This Minor Degree program has been designed to bring together academic depth, practical learning, and emerging areas like Generative AI, ensuring that students graduate with both strong fundamentals and the ability to build real-world AI solutions.”

The role of NSDC is central to the scale and reach of the initiative. NSDC brings institutional outreach, partner college coordination, quality assurance, and national-scale execution support, enabling the program to be delivered consistently across institutions.

Mr. Nitin Kapoor, Vice President, NSDC Academy, said: “At NSDC, we see Artificial Intelligence as a key enabler of India’s future workforce and economic growth. As AI-driven technologies continue to transform industries, there is an urgent need to develop deep technical talent that combines strong academic grounding with industry relevance.

Our collaboration with IIT Mandi on the skilling pathways in Artificial Intelligence underscores a shared commitment to nurturing future-ready professionals who are not only proficient in advanced AI technologies, but also equipped to apply them responsibly to real-world challenges across sectors.”

Speaking on the significance of the initiative, Nikhil Barshikar, Founder & CEO, Imarticus Learning, said, “Artificial intelligence is fundamentally reshaping how industries operate, how businesses make decisions, and how the future workforce will be built. As AI adoption accelerates across sectors, there is a growing need for institutions to move beyond conventional technology education and provide students with structured, application-oriented exposure to emerging technologies at the undergraduate level. Through our collaboration with IIT Mandi and NSDC, we are enabling colleges across India to offer students access to a structured, academically rigorous, and industry-aligned minor degree in artificial intelligence.”

Several institutions across India have already partnered for the initiative, including IIMT Group of Colleges, Greater Noida; Lamrin Tech University, Punjab; Lingaya’s Lalita Devi Institute of Management & Sciences, Delhi; Lingaya’s Vidyapeeth University, Faridabad; Alard University, Pune; Ajeenkya DY Patil University, Pune; Starex University, NCR; Joy University, Tamil Nadu; and LNCT University, Bhopal. The Minor Degree in Artificial Intelligence is open to partner colleges looking to integrate AI education into their undergraduate programs and build the next generation of AI-ready graduates.

The program is also aligned with the multidisciplinary direction of NEP 2020 and is designed to support colleges in strengthening their academic portfolio, improving student employability, and meeting evolving recruiter expectations.
