Surat (Gujarat) [India], February 15: Della Leaders Club (DLC) is the world’s first business platform dedicated to assisting leaders in transitioning from a “life of success” to a “life of significance.” On February 10, Jimmy Mistry, a serial entrepreneur, launched the DLC Surat chapter for entrepreneurs, professionals, and young leaders, who want to grow, connect, transform, and lead from the front to create future-fit organizations to solve complex problems.

Jimmy Mistry, a serial entrepreneur, designer, hotelier, adventurer, and real estate developer, founded DLC, which is co-headquartered in New York and was launched at the hands of Union Cabinet Minister Nitin Gadkari.  It provides a 360-degree support system to the world’s most influential leaders. Through DLC, its members get access to personalized forums and peer-to-peer learning through its proprietary knowledge platform, as well as exclusive invites to DLC events, access to exclusive brand collaborations, and the opportunity to associate with member-curated programs that aim to make meaningful social impact.

Within 24 months of its inception, DLC has gathered and signed on some of the most prominent men and women from seven countries and fifteen cities. One such individual is Bryan “El Gallo” Duran, born in Matanzas, Cuba and raised in Miami Dade County.

When we hear about fighters, especially in a professional scenario, our first thought is usually along the lines of the mental and physical toll this type of profession might take. Bryan “El Gallo” Duran admits that indeed this is the case, and it has taken a lot of time, effort and sheer determination to be able to stand where he is today. Apart from this, Bryan Duran also had to give up his music career, which he had been pursuing for over 11 years, to make time for fighting. “I always had it in me. I just never had the opportunity, and I had a hard life, so it made me more of a beast for this sport, so it’s the perfect place for me. While knowing I’m facing people with 15-plus years of experience. I still stood tall and in less than a year, I was already 3-0 with 3KO’s on my way to my 4th. And this is just the beginning. It takes a lot of hard work and dedication but mostly discipline. It’s you against the world, no other way around it.”, Bryan Duran reveals, speaking about his experiences along the way.

Indeed, Bryan Duran has a true talent for the sport, since he holds the record for the second-fastest knockout in the history of bare-knuckle fighting. Even though this is quite a significant feat, the pro considers this to be just the beginning. In the future, we can hope to see Bryan “El Gallo” Duran grow into his expectations as a billion-dollar brand, living in an expensive house perched atop a hill. • A new Feat – another 100,000 graduates from Zion Christian Mission Center

A new Feat – another 100,000 graduates from Zion Christian Mission Center

    Read Time:4 Minute, 18 Second

November 25: The Zion Christian Mission Center, a Bible education institution of the Shincheonji Church of Jesus, held the class 113 completion ceremony of the Zion Christian Mission Center at Daegu Stadium on the 20th of November. A total of 106,186 people will graduate on this day, with more than 500 former and current pastors, making it the world’s largest theological education institution.

For safety reasons, the number of people participating in the completion ceremony in Korea was limited to 80,000. About 300,000 people in total (Online or offline) participated in the completion ceremony on YouTube live broadcasts which were available in nine languages.

The completion ceremony was prepared thoroughly to prevent safety issues, as it has been an immense concern recently. Shincheonji Church of Jesus said, “For preparing this event, safety is the first, second and third.” they also added, “We will create a cooperative network with local governments to check disinfection, safety, traffic and order, and operate a control room for monitoring the event with police, fire departments, Daegu-si, and Suseong-gu Office safety officials.”

In addition, “the church itself allocated a total of 14,000 safety personnel to maintain order inside and outside the venue, and made participants enter and leave the event venue every four hours to prevent overcrowding.” he said. “About 180 medical staff and four ambulances are also on standby in case of an accident. ” Emergency rescue training was conducted for all safety personnel, and all graduates also completed watching emergency rescue videos. “We emphasize that this completion ceremony was especially safety-oriented,” he explained.

The event consists of the opening ceremony of Part 1 and the completion ceremony of Part 2. The first part started with praise services, congratulatory speeches, congratulatory messages, and representative prayers, and finally followed by a commemorative speech by Chairman Man-Hee Lee. The second part will include a congratulatory performance, a congratulatory speech by Tan Young-jin – the head of the Zion Christian Mission Center, a certificate of completion, a tassel turning, an award ceremony, testimony from graduates, and a special performance.

Among the class of 113 graduates, a total of 522 pastors, including 37 in Korea and 485 overseas, completed the program, and as a result, the proportion of pastors has increased significantly compared to other years. It is mainly due to the creation of an online class environment due to COVID-19. As a favourable online environment where students can take classes without distractions was created, the number of pastors and seminaries increased rapidly. The two representatives of the graduates who announced their acceptance speech on this day were also pastors.

The fact that pastors who joined the introductory and intermediate courses, including Revelation (Advanced), were able to participate in education online without being aware of other people during the COVID-19 pandemic is the reason for the increase in the number of pastors.

Heo Jung-Wook, who shared the testimony as a representative of a Korean graduate at the completion ceremony, is a current pastor who has been a pastor for a decade. After 20 years of ministry, he said, “I only learned traditional theology in seminary, but I didn’t know much about Revelation. Avoiding difficult words, I taught only easy words to convey to the saints. I repent that I was a sinner who added and subtracted from the word of God,” he said. “I put down all my possessions and came forward to the truth.” I learned true theology that leads me to heaven, not to a study given by mankind. “I thank God for giving me a chance to live,” he said.

    D. Jackson, a representative of overseas graduates, is also an Indian pastor who changed the name of his seminary to Hepto Zion Christian Mission Center after signing an MOU. After receiving an online Bible class at the Shincheonji Church in October of last year. Currently, 294 members of the church, including the pastor in charge of the two churches, have completed the entire course of the Zion Christian Mission Center and are listed under the class of 113 graduates.

Meanwhile, the Shincheonji Church of Jesus focused on contributing to the revitalization of the local economy and coexisting with the residents by holding the first large-scale face-to-face event in Daegu since the COVID-19 pandemic. All possible consumption activities, such as transportation, accommodation, and meals for 100,000 people, were made in the region to help residents.

In addition, after the Itaewon disaster, it was not confirmed whether SCJ could do the event or not, but rather than abandoning the win-win opportunity, in consideration of the contracts with local companies, they decided to do the event while focusing on safety as much as possible to the extent of their experience in hosting large-scale domestic and foreign events.

UNITED SIKHS Director Amritpal Singh Bhatia (right) during the emergency relief efforts after the destructive Camp Fire in California in 2018

Mohali/Santa Clara, California, October 28: United Sikhs Director based out of California, Amritpal Singh Bhatia, has passed away at the age of 70. Fondly known as ‘Bhatia Uncle’ by young volunteers and admirers whom he inspired with his compassion over the years, he was always eager to offer help and worked tirelessly. A staunch believer in the principles of Sikhism, he always served and helped those in need earnestly.

Always passionate about social welfare and humanitarian aid, he spearheaded several important humanitarian and advocacy projects for United Sikhs in different parts of the globe since his association with the organization for nearly two decades.

He traversed distances from California to Louisiana to Pakistan to Nepal to reach out to those impacted by disasters or a need for advocacy. Whether it was those ravaged by an earthquake, those impacted by fire, those swept by a hurricane, those hit by a tornado, or those overcome with persecution, ‘Bhatia Uncle’ was the rock that many were able to lean on.

He became the first Asian to win the ‘Hometown Hero Award’ in 2005 from the city of Fremont in California, in recognition of humanitarian aid he led for United Sikhs after the destruction caused by Hurricane Katrina. The same year, the indefatigable warrior also led the way to provide emergency relief aid in Pakistan in towns like Garhi Habib Ullah, which no organization reached after a devastating earthquake shook the country.

    S. Amritpal Singh Bhatia (top right) leading the UNITED SIKHS humanitarian aid efforts after the devastating earthquake in Pakistan in 2005.

Extremely concerned about the condition of the historic Gurdwara Sahib associated with Sri Guru Nanak Sahib in Baghdad, which had suffered collapse during a US bombing, he went and stayed there in 2020 to clean and paint the Gurdwara site and got a fence erected. He appealed to Sikhs around the world to start making a pilgrimage to the historic site and make efforts to get the Gurdwara Sahib restored.

Speaking about him, Gurvinder Singh, United Sikhs International Aid Director, said, “He touched thousands of lives and helped rebuild and provide scores of families with a sense of solace. He recognized that he was blessed to have the ability to serve, and he moved to put that in action.”

“He was always eager to serve and was deeply entrenched in the values of the Sikh faith; he had a sense of positivity and Chardi Kala (high spirits). He was a one-man-army and didn’t know what fear was – facing daunting situations and disasters with a smile and calm mind,” Sarandeep Singh, United Sikhs Director, said.

His legacy, commitment, and spirit will continue to guide United Sikhs. May the Almighty provide solace and comfort to all who knew him.

Through ‘Red Connect’, the official blood donation smartphone application of the Korean Red Cross, all the volunteers completed the application for blood donation in 24 hours from 8:00 am on October 1st to 8:00 am on October 2nd. This is about seven times the previous world record of 10,217 (8 hours) held by India.

Mr. Junsu Hong, the head of WE ARE ONE, said, “It was possible not only because of the volunteers, but also the Korean Red Cross officials working at the forefront to solve the blood shortage, and the IT company that developed an efficient blood donation application system. In that sense it has great significance. I believe COVID-19 can be defeated when we are all one,” he said.

Since its launch on July 30 this year, WE ARE ONE has been conducting the ‘70,000 blood donation’ campaign since August 27. As of the 11th, a total of 43,811 people completed the blood donation, and it is planned to complete the blood donation of 70,000 people by November.
