Homeopathic Medicine is helpful in reducing the problems of Sickle Cell Patients – Dr Ak Dwivedi

Online Seminar at Atal Bihari Vajpayee University Bhopal

Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh) [India], October 11: Undergoing the Azaadika Amrit Mahotsav, an online seminar was organized by Atal Bihari Vajpayee Hindi University, Bhopal. The topic of the seminar was causes, symptoms and treatment of Sickle Cell disease. Prof. Dr Ak Dwivedi, a member of CCRH, Ministry of AYUSH, Government of India, and Homoeopathic Physician attended the seminar as the chief guest. Who gave his views on the topic of the seminar and gave guidance for the prevention of Sickle Cell disease by stating the fatal consequences of Sickle Cell. He said that homeopathic medicine is helpful in reducing the problems of Sickle Cell patients.

The seminar was presided over by the Hon’ble Vice Chancellor of Hindi University, Prof. Khem Singh Dehria. Director of the seminar Yashwant Singh Patel, Registrar of the University, Convenor, Head of the Department of Faculty of Social Sciences, Prof. Rajeev Verma, co-convener was Dr. Anita Choubey, in-charge of Hindi department and Dr. Kamalini Pashine, in-charge of language and translation department. Dr. Siddharth Shukla and Savita Bagde were in charge of the program.

Addressing the program, Prof. Dr Ak Dwivedi said that Sickle Cell Anemia is a genetic disorder of the blood caused due to abnormal hemoglobin. Sickle Cell Anemia is a genetic disorder. It is also a hereditary disorder. Sickle Cell anemia is a type of blood disorder in which Red Blood Cells turns into a C-shaped, sickle-shaped or crescent-shaped form. This reduces the ability of movement and to carry oxygen throughout the body and the amount of blood flow in the small vessels of our body. On the other hand, Sickle Cell is mainly of two types. In which one is Sickle Cell carrier (sickle trait) and the other is sickle holder (Sickle Cell Anemia). On the other hand, if we talk about this, then the life span of Sickle Cell red blood cells is only 10-20 days and the bone marrow would be not able to convert them fast enough, due to which the normal number of red blood cells in the body and amount of hemoglobin decreases.

If we talk about the symptoms of Sickle Cell disease, it usually appears around 6 to 8 months of age. And these vary from person to person and can change over the time. He said that in those districts where there are Sickle Cell Anemia patients are outnumbered, blood tests should be mandatory for everyone before marriage so that this disease can be prevented from progressing in future.

Its main symptoms include fatigue, weakness, irritability, anemia, urgency, bed-wetting, jaundice, swelling and pain in hands and feet, infection, chest pain, Lower- back pain, back pain, leg or arm pain etc. Apart from this, the problem of AVN (Avascular necrosis) is also seen in Sickle Cell Anemia patient, homeopathic medicine is very effective, even in those patients. The patient can suffer lot of problems in cold weather. Therefore, its effect can be reduced with the right information and wearing the right clothes. One should keep himself warm in cold weather and at night. For this, the patient should completely abandon AC and cooler, as well as not to swim in cold water. Apart from this,in the patient of Sickle Cell Anemia, there could be lack of oxygen saturation.

He said that patients should avoid taking too much of iron. If there is a deficiency of hemoglobin in Sickle Cell patient, then some home remedies can be suggested to increase Hemoglobin. Hemoglobin can be increased by consuming pomegranate, beet root, fenugreek, tomatoes, legumes, dates, nuts, all cereals, milk-curd and cheese and gourd soup, banana, meat, fish, eggs. Based on his experience, Dr Ak Dwivedi said that with homeopathic medicine, Sickle Cell patients can be saved from getting sick again and again and their immunity can also be increased.

Shri Sunil Patwari takes over as new Chairman of TEXPROCIL

Shri Sunil Patwari, newly elected Chairman of TEXPROCIL, addressing the AGM

Says textile industry must take forward actions for achieving higher exports in FY 2023

Mumbai (Maharashtra) [India], October 11: At the Annual General Meeting of The Cotton Textiles Export Promotion Council (TEXPROCIL) held on 30th September 2022, Shri Sunil Patwari, took charge as its new Chairman. The earlier Chairman, Shri Manoj Kumar Patodia handed over the charge to him at the AGM event held in Mumbai.

Shri Patwari is a Chartered Accountant, and an alumnus of The Indian Institute of Management (IIM) – Ahmedabad. With over 3 decades of professional experience, Shri Sunil Patwari spearheads business activities as the Managing Director of Nagreeka Exports Ltd. He was the Vice Chairman of the leading body of Indian cotton textile exporters before taking charge as Chairman, TEXPROCIL.

Assuming charge of the Council Shri Patwari said, the last year was full of challenges as well as opportunities for the Indian textile and clothing industry. Exports of Cotton textiles (including Cotton) under the Council’s purview grew by 54% while overall Textile & Clothing exports from India grew by 40% in the financial year 2021-2022.

The major achievements in textile exports have been possible on account of the progressive reforms undertaken by the Government led by the Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi and the entrepreneurial zeal of the Indian textile exporters.

Despite several disruptions in the global supply chain and the lack of demand, our exporters demonstrated resilience by maintaining a positive growth trajectory.

However, the all-round performance in the exports of Cotton textiles seen last year, has become difficult to sustain during the current year. The sector is still recovering from the pandemic-induced slump of the last year, and has got stuck with supply-side disruptions.

“To achieve incremental growth during the current financial year, the country should focus on improving value realization rather than volume growth”, said Shri Patwari.

“Also, for our textile products to become more accepted internationally, we need to strongly focus on efforts to promote Indian textiles by taking suitable measures to ensure sustainability and other social compliances,” he added.

TEXPROCIL, an apex export promotion body under the aegis of Ministry of Textiles, provides invaluable assistance to Indian exporters of cotton textiles as well as supports the importers/international buyers sourcing these products from India.

Lystloc Launches A Seamless Touch-Free Facial Attendance App Lystface Powered By AI

Lystloc, the leading Field Force Management app, launches a new AI-powered facial attendance app named Lystface. Mr. Bharathkumar Annamalai, CEO of Lystloc firmly believes that technology should help people progress. Keeping that in mind, Lystface is also designed as a simple, user-friendly app like Lystloc. It will help businesses to improve their productivity and revenue.

Lystface provides employees with a safe, secure, and swift attendance experience. An android phone can be converted into a facial attendance device and it acts as an attendance system for your entire workforce.

Attendance Management Challenges Faced By Small Businesses

Small industry workers, construction laborers, and other daily wagers have limited exposure to technology. So, the employers use the age-old manual attendance methods or in some cases, they use biometrics too. But there are some limitations to these methods:

There is a higher possibility of human errors in the manual data entry methods and if the working hours of employees are recorded wrong, it reflects in salary calculations too.

Having an ineffective & outdated attendance system will be ineffective and affect the productivity required to sustain the business.

Manual methods require constant supervision as there are chances of fake or multiple entries by employees.

Post-pandemic, the practice of many people touching the same fingerprint sensor is not safe as there is a high risk of infection. Any system that needs to be shared with multiple employees should be avoided.

The biometric systems or the manual methods take much time for installation, data entry, and processing.

Lystface – Your New Safe Attendance Partner

Lystface overcomes all the challenges faced by the previous manual methods with its amazing features.

Accurate, AI-powered Attendance Capturing eliminates the chances of human error. The accurate 3D-capturing technology scans the user’s face and registers them for the first time. No fake attendance is possible as only registered users are allowed to access.

Location Based Facial Attendance and geofence features of Lystface make it easy for you to restrict attendance scanning within a particular location.

The Safe, No Touch method is the need of the hour. Lystface facial attendance method is a completely touchless process. Say bye to those unhygienic biometrics and ID cards.

Analytics & Reports are very crucial for taking important business decisions. Lystface reduces the burden of huge manual work by providing you accurate, automated analytic reports and thus valuable business insights. Attendance, Log in & Log out times, Total working hours, or any other customized format that you need can be created.

Salary Processing is easy and error-free with Lystface as the attendance and working hours are captured accurately. It saves your time and effort while processing payroll for all your employees by integrating with your existing HRMS.

Door Access Control using Lystface will support you to restrict access to important places like inventory, store rooms, etc. In such cases, only the people you authorize will be able to access those rooms by scanning their faces.

As you all know, Lystloc established itself as a leading field force management app with over 3000+ companies using it successfully for years. Now, they are launching their new product Lystface and it is going to be as amazing as Lystloc no doubt. Now, you are just one device away from a safe, touch-free attendance system. Lystface app is available in Playstore now and there are many exciting feature updates and API integrations planned in the future as well.

    Happy Lystfacing!

  • Vikas Pal and Vibhu Gupta reveal how Jamtara happened and the trend of casting talents from outside the industry

Vikas Pal and Vibhu Gupta reveal how Jamtara happened and the trend of casting talents from outside the industry

Casting for a film or a show includes a long process. While many believe it is easy to scout for the right talent, it requires a thorough process before the artist comes on board for a film, series or show. Bringing new artists to the forefront, Vikas Pal and Vibhu Gupta have given many deserving actors a platform to showcase their talent.

The duo is responsible for a stellar casting in the popular series ‘Jamtara’. Vikas and Vibhu did casting for both seasons of the show. While the first season of Jamtara was spectacular, the second season started streaming on September 23, 2022. Made predominantly by young talents, the web series gave recognition to many new-age artists. Thanks to Vikas Pal and Vibhu Gupta that they got to discover talents from backward communities of India.

The two prolific casting directors do not come from a grandeur background. Hence, they scouted for talents outside the industry and the rest is history. The series turned out to be a massive hit among the audience. Having worked for an array of advertisements, the duo has done casting for web series like ‘Yeh Meri Family’ and ‘Thinkistan’ Season 1 and 2.

Sharing how ‘Jamtara’ happened, Vibhu Gupta said, “We got introduced to producer Manish Trehan, director Soumendhra Padhi and Viacom 18 Studios in June 2018 through my friend Trishant Srivastava who knew me during the theatre days in Delhi. When we heard the script, we were sure about the colossal success. We focused only on ‘Jamtara’ for a few months, and I am glad that the director and producers showed immense faith in us.”

Furthermore, he stated that they wanted to keep the cast as raw as possible for which they auditioned a lot of candidates from Mumbai, Bihar, Jharkhand and Uttar Pradesh. Putting in their best effort, ‘Jamtara’ brought talents from outside the industry. Through their work, Vikas and Vibhu are ensuring that artists from outside the industry get an opportunity to prove their acting potential.

Vikas Pal and Vibhu Gupta’s upcoming works are lined up with major OTT giants which will be announced soon. No wonder, they have succeeded in starting a trend of bringing artists from backward classes into the limelight. Interestingly, for one of their upcoming works, they cast some actors and non-actors from Mumbai’s slum area Dharavi after conducting an extensive workshop.

Proving their credibility, the duo has made a place in the industry with their hard work. “People from backward classes and rural areas are marginalized by society. It is perhaps one of the reasons why these groups are still struggling for their rights today. We intend to bridge the gap and churn out the best talents from the country”, Vikas concluded.
