Mumbai (Maharashtra) [India], November 8: Nobel Peace, a film that recently bagged the best film award at the 10th Dada Saheb Phalke Film Festival 2020 and the best screenplay award at the Indian Cine Film Festival 2020, is now streaming on Jio Cinema.

Bollywood actor Mayur Mehta, who got fame through Zee TV Serial “Aur Pyar Ho Gya”, has played the lead role in the film. He said, “I played a very interesting character of Asif Alam in the film, where initially the character’s mind was focused on his religion. The character depicts the mental block of a person where even a help, support, or suggestion from someone seemed like they are trying to brainwash you.”

Mehta added, “It was a challenge for me to play this character. But I realized that humanity is above all and how small things or videos made by his friend brought smiles and changes in the lives of others. The videos were not related to a particular religion, and that there was a message which this film tried to put across. This world will be a better place if we consider humanity as our religion and let the Love & Peace prevail!”

The film Nobel Peace revolves around how the lead character gets influenced by certain things and chooses the wrong path. A professor’s teachings play an important role in Asif Alam’s life and direct him to seek the right direction. It is an undying quest for truth. It also stars Mudasir Zafar, Aarti Sharma, and others.

Nobel Peace has been directed and written by Astik Dalai, presented by O.P Rai’s Kala Niketan Entertainment. The film is now streaming on Jio Cinema.

Mayur Mehta finished the shooting of web series based on cybercrime, where he played a pivotal character based on the real-life of Professor Triveni Singh, who is the first cyber cop of India.

November 01: All over the years, barring the pandemic period, movies with different genres have been releasing every week. Now, as the pandemic is getting converted into mild endemic, the filmmakers are getting busy releasing their films. Again in recent years, movies have been made mixing genres to offer two-fold entertainment to the audiences. A new movie ‘All Is Wrong’ is a romantic thriller with added suspense. These multiple genre films are written and directed by Datta Mirkute and produced by -Datta Mirkute & Savita Anil mohite under the banner Datta Mirkute Films & Sam Films Entertainment.

Datta Mirkute, who earlier directed a Marathi film ‘Prem Sankat’ which was well received by the audience. Now while entering the Bollywood arena, he has written and directed ‘All Is Wrong’, which has romance and is laced with a murder mystery. The makers unveiled the poster of the movie in the presence of the cast and crew and noted dignitaries.

This romantic movie’s title ‘All is Wrong’ reminds everyone of a famous Aamir Khan dialogue from ‘3 Idiots’, ‘All Is Well’. Since this movie deals in a murder mystery and has a high thriller besides romance is aptly titled ‘All Is Wrong’, which too has melodious music in it.

‘All Is Wrong’ is being produced, directed by Datta Mirkute and has Anil Mohite, Nikhil Sonkeshariya, Muskan Lalwani, Rahul Bhise,  Sushil Chaukekar, Sodhi Sultan and Madhuri Pawar in pivotal roles.

This romantic thriller ‘All Is Wrong’, which touches the elements of betrayal and mystery, is getting ready to hit theatres all over the country very soon.

Mumbai (Maharashtra) [India], October 25:  After the reopening of cinema halls in Maharashtra on 22nd October 2021, Babloo Bachelor was the first film released. The rom-com family entertainer is cracking up the audience and the critics. The film is doing prominent business in Delhi and UP circuit along with Hindi speaking market. Babloo bachelor is a must-needed film after so long. The audiences were away from the theatres and were only clinging to the digital media for entertainment.

Babloo bachelor is a comedy genre film in which Sharman Joshi is playing the protagonist. The story of the film is based on UP, where a well-to-do family had always dreamt of their son’s wedding with great pomp and show. Babloo (Sharman Joshi) met a few girls for his wedding but didn’t get the right one. Then he met Avantika (Pooja Chopra), who was already engaged in another relationship and is not a virgin. After requesting Pooja, Babloo rejects the proposal. In one wedding, he got to meet Swati (Tejashri Pradhan), with whom he fell in love, and both agreed to the marriage. But the twist comes when on the wedding day, Tejasri ran away from the wedding and left a letter for him. She had always wanted to be an actor, and now she had got a chance of being a lead actor in a reality show in Mumbai. Sharman tries everything to reach his would-be wife. He even goes to Mumbai. There, by chance, he again bumped into Pooja Chopra, the creative head of that channel. He told her everything. She agrees to help him, and when finally Tejashri comes back, Sharman falls in love with Pooja Chopra after looking at her initiative and efforts to bring Tejashri back. It will be interesting to watch with whom Sharman, aka Babloo, will marry now?

The songs of the film are composed by Jeet Ganguly and lyrics by Kumaar and Rashmi Virag. The romantic songs   Kasam and Aye meri Zindagi sung by Arijit and Papon respectively are very well appreciated by the young audience on the radio and digital media. Another song Tum ho sung by Arijit and composed by Indradeep Das Gupta, is also soothing. The comedy-emotional film is for every age group. The one-liners of the film are in everyone’s mouth.

October 22: First of its kind, a film based on the life of Chandra Shekhar Azad is soon to be released. The makers of the film have released the first look of the film. Azad’s revolutionary moments are depicted on the poster. Azad is also seen twisting his moustache in his signature posture.

The film will depict Allahabad’s revolutionary moments as well as his mother’s bond with him. The mother-son bond is at the heart of the film. Veteran actress Zarina Wahab will portray the mother of Azad and Ahmad Kabir Shadan in and as Chandra Shekhar Azad.

Chandra Shekhar Azad was a leader in the revolutionary freedom movement of India; along with Bhagat Singh, he created a revolutionary organization and gave a tough challenge to the British. After the capture of Bhagat Singh and due to some traitor revolutionaries, his organization got disintegrated, and till his last breath, he continued to contribute to the freedom of the country. Azad’s life was full of mysteries, very little information is available about his personal life through his fellow revolutionaries. The film Chandra Shekhar Azad will introduce us to the noteworthy person from Azad’s life like his mother and revolutionary Durga Bhabhi, Vishwanath, as well as the personalities of Azad’s father Sitaram Tiwari and mother Jagrani Devi.

October 20: When the first Bhojpuri talkie film, “Ganga Maiyya Tohe Piyari Chadhaibo ” was launched in 1963, nobody knew that the industry would become a mammoth 2000 Cr industry. Popularly known as “Bhojiwood” has an array of A-listers like Ravi Kishan, Manoj Tiwari etc. Who took the industry popularity and reach to new levels. But somewhere, people who were connected to the roots of the Bhojpuri culture felt that the industry was not doing justice with the rich literature and culture associated with the language. One of these was Ashish P Mishra.

An artist by profession, Ashish P Mishra, was eager to show the world the true side of Bhojpuri Cinema which was yet undiscovered by many. He soon discovered that his journey wasn’t as simple as one could think of. With no godfather from the industry and no big production house backing, Ashish had to go from pillar to post to initiate his journey. A Bhojpuri film with no item numbers, no vulgarity and zero violence were something unimaginable to the makers. Even after zero support from industry stalwarts, Ashish did not lose hope and decided to produce the film on his own. He displayed his work at several art exhibitions to gather funds and thus created a banner, Bold Monk Pictures.

Now with some funds in hand, Ashish took to the streets to look for actors who would dictate the mood of the film. After several auditions, he shortlisted his cast. But the real work began here. Ashish made his crew not just practice but memorised the entire plot of the movie before they moved to the shoot location. It took almost 3 weeks of rigorous practising of dialogue delivery, acting, expressions as Ashish did not want the audiences to feel any disconnect with the Bhojpuri flavour that the movie aimed to offer.

The final shoot of the Bhojpuri romantic art feature film Bhent happened in Bangalore, Varanasi, Pune and Mumbai. People who saw the film can still believe that Ashish shot and completed this film with a small crew of fewer than ten people. “Bhent” started making waves from the day it’s trailer was released on YouTube. Several universities and organisations invited Ashish for screening of his film and to take sessions to explain the journey of his beautiful gift to Bhojpuri Art Cinema. Like Banaras Hindu university invited Ashish at Bhojpuri ShodhSansthan Varanasi, and the Delhi state government’s Maithili and Bhojpuri Academy invited Ashish P Mishra at Habitat Center Delhi.

As time passed, Ashish’s film Bhent started getting a lot of award nominations in competitions across the country and kept on winning several prestigious awards; one of them was the Best scriptwriter Award for ‘Bhent’ at Jharkhand International film festival 2018. Wherever Bhent was nominated, all others participating knew they didn’t have a chance to stand against the magical movie Bhent, which showed how impactful the art film was.

Adding to the recognition and awards, Bhent was given a parallel cinema status and premiered on ZEE entertainment’ Bhojpuri channel Zee Biskope on 26^th September 2021. With the success of his first movie, Ashish P Mishra is looking forward to creating new projects that will prove to bring back content-driven movies, a change in perspective and the lost glory of Bhojpuri cinema.

He plays the role of a tourist who becomes mesmerised by a beautiful woman he keeps noticing around an eerie fort, but she mysteriously keeps disappearing! The song is directed by Richard de Varda (RDV), He Said, “Being able to bring Zakham to life through the lens was a great experience, and the video location adds such a regal yet haunting edge to the song.”
