  • Angelic Intelligence Creator Shekhar Natarajan Receives Standing Ovation at AI Summit in New Delhi

Angelic Intelligence Creator Shekhar Natarajan Receives Standing Ovation at AI Summit in New Delhi

New Delhi [India], February 20: The inventor of Angelic Intelligence, the next evolution of AI that teaches machines to mimic what good humans do, challenges the global AI governance establishment at Bharat Mandapam

Shekhar Natarajan, the inventor of Angelic Intelligence and Founder & CEO of Orchestro.AI, delivered a powerful address at the AI Summit on Trust, Safety, and the Future of AI Governance at Bharat Mandapam on Wednesday, captivating an audience of global policymakers, technology executives, and international media with a bold challenge to the way the world thinks about AI ethics.

Natarajan’s central thesis was striking in its clarity: the current global discourse on AI ethics and governance is fundamentally broken because it is retroactive — attempting to bolt on rules and guardrails after systems are already built. Angelic Intelligence, he argued, represents the next evolution of artificial intelligence itself, one where technology is designed from the ground up to mimic what good humans do.

“The entire world is debating how to govern AI after the fact,” Natarajan told the packed hall. “We are putting fences around a horse that has already left the barn. Angelic Intelligence is fundamentally different. It does not ask how to restrain a machine. It asks how to build a machine that is inherently good — one that mimics the best of human virtue, not the worst of human ambition.”

The summit, held at Conference Hall 1 of the iconic Bharat Mandapam in New Delhi, brought together leading voices on AI governance and ethics. But it was Natarajan’s remarks that drew the most phenomenal reception of the day. His presentation was met with sustained applause, and attendees described it as a paradigm-shifting intervention that reframed the entire conversation.

The Angelic Intelligence framework, which Natarajan has protected through a portfolio of over 70 patents, embeds human ethics directly into computational architecture rather than treating morality as an afterthought. It features 27 specialised “Digital Angels” — AI agents that embody cross-cultural virtues such as compassion, justice, and wisdom, and collaborate on ethical decision-making in real time. Unlike existing AI governance frameworks that seek to regulate machine behaviour externally, Angelic Intelligence makes virtue the native language of the machine itself.

“Ethics cannot be a patch. It cannot be a compliance checklist,” Natarajan said. “If you have to teach a machine not to be harmful, you have already built the wrong machine. Angelic Intelligence starts from a different place entirely — it starts from love.”

From Street Lights to the World Stage

Natarajan’s journey to the forefront of global AI ethics is itself a remarkable testament to human resilience. Born in South Central India, he grew up studying under street lights because his family had no electricity. His mother, whose sacrifices defined the trajectory of his life, once pawned her wedding ring for 30 rupees to pay his school fees, and stood outside a headmaster’s office every day for an entire year to secure his admission.

He arrived in America with just $34 in his pocket. What followed was a career that would reshape the logistics and supply chain landscape of some of the world’s most powerful corporations. Over 25 years of Fortune 500 leadership, Natarajan held senior positions at Walmart — where he grew the grocery delivery business from $30 million to $5 billion — as well as Disney, Coca-Cola, PepsiCo, Target, and American Eagle. He holds degrees from Georgia Tech, MIT, Harvard Business School, and IESE.

Yet it was not corporate success but a deeper calling that led Natarajan to found Orchestro.AI and develop Angelic Intelligence. “Every morning at 4 AM, I practise classical Indian painting,” he shared during the summit. “It taught me that the best solutions come not from speed, but from patience. We must build AI with love, not just with code.”

A New Voice in Global AI Governance

During the summit’s media interaction, Natarajan fielded questions from journalists on topics ranging from AI regulation in emerging markets to the practical applications of virtue-based computing for small businesses. His critique of the prevailing retroactive approach to AI governance — and his proactive alternative — generated significant discussion among delegates, many of whom acknowledged the limitations of current regulatory frameworks.

Natarajan’s appearance at Bharat Mandapam comes on the heels of growing international recognition for his work. With invitations to speak at the World Economic Forum and the Future Investment Initiative, he is rapidly emerging as one of the most distinctive and disruptive voices in the global conversation about how artificial intelligence should be built — not merely governed.

“My mother stood outside a headmaster’s office for 365 days so I could get an education,” Natarajan reflected. “That kind of love — that sacrifice — is what I want to encode into the machines we build. If AI cannot understand dignity, it has no business making decisions about human lives.”

The session concluded to a standing ovation, with multiple delegates approaching Natarajan for further discussion on potential collaborations and implementation of the Angelic Intelligence framework across sectors including healthcare, education, and public governance.

EKAM X Bright Leaf: A Community-Focused Design Milestone in Velimela

Hyderabad (Telangana) [India], February 20: In Hyderabad’s fast-evolving residential landscape, community living has increasingly become about personalization as much as possession. Marking this shift, Bright Leaf Design Studio inaugurated its exclusive model flat at EKAM in Velimela, Tellapur, on 31st January 2026 an initiative designed to bring interior expertise directly into the heart of a residential community.

The model flat, located at Tower 4 – Flat 104, was formally inaugurated by Pavan and Arjun, the builders of Prosperiti Homes, along with their family members. The firm offers complete end-to-end and turnkey solutions, managing everything from conceptual design and budgeting to execution and final handover. Customization forms the core of its approach; each home is crafted around the client’s lifestyle, functional needs, and aesthetic preferences. Structured after-sales support further reinforces its long-term commitment to homeowners.

The studio’s growing footprint across premium communities reflects a deliberate strategy of community-based engagement. Beginning with SMR Vinay – Boulder Woods, followed by Kalyan Skyway 9, and now EKAM, the firm has consistently positioned itself within residential ecosystems to serve homeowners more closely. EKAM, developed by Prosperiti Homes, is designed as a contemporary residential community integrating sustainable planning principles with modern amenities and strong urban connectivity. Within this framework, the EKAM X Bright Leaf initiative represents a thoughtful alignment of architecture and interior vision.

The inauguration signifies more than the unveiling of a model flat. It reflects a broader commitment to making interior design accessible, customized, and community-centric ensuring that every homeowner has both inspiration and guidance close at hand.

As residential communities continue to redefine urban living, such embedded design initiatives are poised to shape the next chapter of personalization in housing.

  • India’s Clean Energy Expansion to Drive Grid Transformation and Economic Growth: Gridpro Ventures

India’s Clean Energy Expansion to Drive Grid Transformation and Economic Growth: Gridpro Ventures

Mr. Rajendra Iyer, Founder and CEO, Gridpro Ventures Pvt. Ltd

Pune (Maharashtra) [India], February 20: India’s accelerated push toward renewable energy is set to redefine the country’s power landscape, with installed renewable capacity targeted to reach nearly 530 GW by 2030 and total generation capacity projected at approximately 778 GW. This transition will see non-fossil sources contribute close to two-thirds of India’s installed power capacity, reinforcing the nation’s commitment to sustainability and climate action.

The scale of investment is unprecedented. An estimated ₹40 lakh crore (USD 450 billion) is expected to be deployed between 2022 and 2027 across generation, transmission, and energy storage infrastructure, creating significant opportunities for technology providers, MSMEs, and domestic manufacturing.

However, experts highlight that capacity addition alone will not be sufficient.

“As India rapidly integrates solar and wind into the grid, the focus must shift to reliability, flexibility, and resilience,” said Mr. Rajendra Iyer, Founder and CEO, Gridpro Ventures Pvt. Ltd. “Renewables introduce variability, which requires advanced grid solutions such as STATCOM and HVDC, along with modernization of conventional power plants to enable flexible operations.”

Energy storage is expected to emerge as a critical enabler of this transition. Battery Energy Storage Systems, pumped hydro, and emerging technologies will help manage intermittency while supporting India’s fast-growing electric vehicle ecosystem. Strategic public–private partnerships will be essential to scale storage infrastructure efficiently.

Equally important is ensuring that India’s renewable rollout is socially inclusive. Innovative land-use models, including farmer-partnership frameworks, can allow solar and wind projects to coexist with agriculture while providing sustainable income to rural communities. Workforce development and localized skill training will also be key to translating infrastructure expansion into long-term regional employment.

“India has a rare opportunity to combine global clean energy technologies with indigenous innovation,” added Iyer. “By strengthening MSME participation, investing in R&D, and building local talent pools, the country can create globally competitive capabilities while accelerating decarbonisation.”

As India moves from ambition to execution, coordinated policy implementation, grid modernization, energy storage deployment, and community-centric development will be central to unlocking the full potential of its renewable energy roadmap.

  • The Cost of a Hashtag by Archana Jain Human Stories Behind Hashtags: A Thought-Provoking New Social Commentary Book

The Cost of a Hashtag by Archana Jain Human Stories Behind Hashtags: A Thought-Provoking New Social Commentary Book

New Delhi [India], February 19: The Cost of a Hashtag by  Author Archana Jain is not a narrative about choosing sides between men and women, nor is it an argument rooted in meninism or feminism. At its heart, it is a call to return to something deeper — humanism. In a world where social media has amplified voices, accelerated reactions, and blurred the space between truth and perception, this work questions what happens when justice becomes performative and empathy becomes selective. It reminds us that beyond every trend, accusation, defence, or public debate, there is always a human life carrying consequences that do not fade when the hashtag stops trending.

Archana Jain is an author and thinker focused on social consciousness, human dignity, and balanced justice. Through her writing, she explores human behaviour, power, and the emotional impact of modern digital and societal conflicts.

    The Cost of a Hashtag

The book recognises the undeniable struggles women have faced historically and the importance of movements that created space for voices that were once silenced. At the same time, it acknowledges another uncomfortable reality — that pain, trauma, misuse of power, and emotional damage are not owned by one gender alone. When conversations become polarised, society begins to measure suffering through identity rather than truth. This is where justice risks turning into ideology instead of remaining a moral responsibility toward fairness. Humanism demands that we listen before we label, understand before we react, and seek truth before we choose sides.

The digital age has given society powerful tools to expose wrongdoing, but it has also created environments where speed often replaces verification. A single post can elevate someone toward justice or push someone toward irreversible damage. The book challenges readers to question how quickly we form opinions and how easily collective outrage can silence nuance. When judgment becomes instant, both the innocent and the guilty can disappear inside noise, leaving truth lost in emotional momentum. The real cost of a hashtag is not measured in views or virality, but in broken reputations, unheard truths, and emotional scars carried long after public attention moves on.

Ultimately, this work stands on one central belief — humanity must come before gender, before ideology, and before public validation. Humanism is not about weakening justice; it is about strengthening it through fairness, accountability, and compassion. It asks society to create systems where victims feel safe to speak and where accusations are handled with responsibility and due process. Because when humanity leads, justice heals. When identity leads without balance, justice divides. And the future of any progressive society depends not on who wins gender debates, but on whether we learn to protect dignity — for everyone.

The Cost of a Hashtag by Archana Jain explores the human consequences of digital outrage and social media justice. It moves beyond debates of meninism or feminism, focusing instead on humanism — fairness, empathy, and truth. The book highlights how real lives are affected when judgment becomes instant and humanity is forgotten.

India Offers AI-Based Disaster Management Solutions to the World

New Delhi [India], February 19: Policymakers, disaster risk leaders, technologists, and global experts came together on 16 February at Bharat Mandapam, New Delhi, for a high-level dialogue on AI for Disaster Management: Anticipatory, Hyperlocal, Scalable, hosted by SEEDS (Sustainable Environment and Ecological Development Society) in collaboration with the United Nations Office for Disaster Risk Reduction (UNDRR).

The session explored how artificial intelligence can help reframe disaster management from reactive response to continuous risk governance – integrating early warning, preparedness, response, and recovery into people-centred systems that strengthen decision-making and protect lives and livelihoods.

Moderator of the panel Dr. Anshu Sharma, brought together diverse perspectives from government, global institutions, and the technology ecosystem to examine how AI can move beyond pilots and dashboards toward solutions that governments can absorb, trust, and scale, while remaining inclusive and application-based.

Drawing on state-level experience, Prof. V.K. Sharma, Vice-Chairman of the State Disaster Management Authority, Sikkim, reflected on how the state rebuilt after the 2011 earthquake by embedding disaster resilience into every reconstructed asset – from homes and hospitals to public infrastructure. He highlighted the use of technology-enabled monitoring and vulnerability assessments to ensure accountability and resilience at scale, noting that the next step lies in moving from fragmented pilots to systematic application of AI across regions facing recurrent risk, particularly in the Himalayas and South Asia.

From a global governance perspective, Dr. Sujit Kumar Mohanty, Chief of Branch for Intergovernmental, Interagency Cooperation and Partnerships at UNDRR, underscored that while AI capabilities are advancing rapidly, their real value depends on institutional readiness. He emphasised that decision-makers – from district magistrates to national authorities – require legal frameworks, policies, and institutional capacity to act on AI-based insights. Without this enabling environment, even the most sophisticated tools risk remaining unused, he cautioned.

Representing the technology ecosystem, Akshay Zadgaonkar, Director at SavyCode, spoke about India’s distinct approach to AI – focused not on competing in large language model races, but on building context-specific, resource-efficient solutions.

He highlighted the potential of edge AI and lightweight “pocket models” that can function offline and on limited compute, enabling disaster risk applications in low-connectivity settings.

Focusing on equity and inclusion, Anand Rajan, Founder of Apurva.ai, emphasised that disaster risk and climate challenges cannot be addressed through averages alone. He argued for AI architectures that recognise long-tail vulnerabilities and treat communities as co-creators of solutions rather than passive beneficiaries, ensuring that the most vulnerable remain visible in decision-making systems.

Bringing in the perspective of nature-based and environmental intelligence, Snehal Verma, Co-founder of NatureDots, spoke about the role of foundational AI models in addressing disaster and climate risks in data-scarce regions. She articulated how hyperlocal, predictive insights – particularly in water and natural resource systems – can enable early action, reduce losses, and support both disaster preparedness and sustainable development.

Across the discussion, speakers stressed on the need to balance bottom-up community realities with top-down governance systems. AI, they noted, offers a bridge between contemporary scientific knowledge and community wisdom – supporting welfare for all and enabling resilient development pathways.

Building on these perspectives, Arijit Das, Regional Director – SEEDS, demonstrated how SEEDS is integrating AI into disaster resilience systems across India. Drawing from field experience, he showed how AI is driving a shift from reactive response to anticipatory, hyperlocal, and scalable risk management. The presentation outlined how combining weather data, satellite imagery, and vulnerability indicators can predict risk at the asset and community level, allowing early action. He added that AI must move beyond simply layering technology onto existing systems to fundamentally reshaping how risk is understood and acted upon. AI-supported assessments can also deliver near real-time damage insights, leading to faster recovery and response.

The session concluded with a shared call to move beyond isolated innovations toward integrated, people-centred risk governance systems, positioning India’s experience as globally relevant in an era of escalating climate and disaster – driving solutions that are both inclusive and application-based.
