By sharing our datasets, we’re not just fostering innovation but enabling India to lead in building AI solutions for diverse and nuanced applications,” Mr. Vempati explained.

    In his remarks, Vempati reflected on the unique advantage emerging economies like India possess—the absence of legacy systems, which allows them to adopt advanced technologies with agility. He stressed that with the right investments in AI and initiatives like Data Daan, India could position itself as a global leader in AI innovation.

    At GPAI 2024, Mr. Vempati who is also on the advisory board of the Center of Policy Research and Governance credited CPRG for its continuous contribution and support to the Data Daan Initiative in collaboration with AI4India . Founded in 2016, CPRG is an independent Delhi-based think tank dedicated to advancing people-centric policymaking and addressing challenges in the economy, workforce, and education through research on emerging technologies.

    Ahmedabad (Gujarat) [India], December 9: Serving Indian farmers since 2005, Dhanlaxmi Crop Science is a technology-driven seed company engaged in the development, production, processing, and supply of hybrid and open-pollinated seeds for a wide range of field crops and vegetables. These seeds ensure better quality and higher yields suited to diverse agro-climatic conditions. The company is poised for its Initial Public Offering (IPO), with plans to raise ₹23.80 crores through the issuance of 43.28 lakh new shares.

    For its SME Initial Public Offering (IPO), Dhanlaxmi Crop Science Limited has established a price band of ₹52 to ₹55 per share. The company’s shares will open for subscription on December 9, 2024, and close on December 11, 2024. These shares will be listed on the NSE SME platform, with a projected listing date of Monday, December 16, 2024.

    Finshore Management Services Limited is the book-running lead manager for the Dhanlaxmi Crop Science IPO, while Bigshare Services Pvt Ltd is the registrar for the issue.

    The proceeds from the issue will be utilized to meet working capital requirements and for general corporate purposes. The shares for the Dhanlaxmi Crop Science IPO are expected to be allotted on Thursday, December 12, 2024, and credited to the demat accounts of the allottees on Friday, December 13, 2024. The IPO allocation comprises 50% of the net issue for Qualified Institutional Buyers (QIBs), 35% for retail investors, and 15% for the Non-Institutional Investor (NII) segment.

    Retail investors need to contribute a minimum of ₹1,10,000, as the minimum lot size for an application is 2,000 shares. For HNIs, the minimum bidding size is two lots, or 4,000 shares, requiring a total investment of ₹2,20,000 at the upper price band.

    Dhanlaxmi Crop Science Ltd reported revenue of ₹11,996.26 lakhs for HY1 FY25, with a net profit of ₹820.81 lakhs. The company boasts a Return on Capital Employed (ROCE) of 39.07%, a Return on Equity (ROE) of 33.82%, and a Debt-to-Equity ratio of 0.06.

    The company integrates traditional breeding techniques with biotechnological tools to produce hybrid and open-pollinated varieties of field crops and vegetable seeds. These seeds offer higher yields, improved quality, and greater tolerance to pests and diseases compared to naturally occurring varieties.

    As of March 31, 2024, the company’s product portfolio includes over 24 seed varieties for various field crops and vegetables. It operates through a network of 1,185 authorized dealers across four states and has access to farmland in four states through contractual agreements with more than 45 seed growers and organizers.

    Sonu Sharma to Address SSD Knowledge Series 4.0 in Surat

    Surat (Gujarat) [India], December 09: In celebration of the construction of the Sacho Satram Tirath Dham in Nagpur, the Sindhi community will host the SSD Knowledge Series 4.0 at the Sanjeev Kumar Auditorium in Pal, Surat, on December 15th.

    The event, scheduled to commence at 3:30 pm, will feature renowned motivational speaker and corporate trainer Sonu Sharma as the keynote speaker. Padma Shri Mathurbhai Savani will grace the event as the chief guest and share his insights on the significance of the Tirath Dham.

    Sharing details about the event, Mukesh Khemchand Kewlani, a prominent leader of the Sindhi community and a long-time Surat resident, said, “Our society and especially the youth are increasingly drawn toward Western culture, often neglecting their own traditions and religious roots. It is our duty to do something meaningful for the future generations. Guided by the vision of our Guruji, Sai sadhram Sahib, the Sacho Satram Tirath Dham is being developed across 100 acres in Nagpur. Along with a Hindi Sanatani temple, the project will include Ayurvedic hospitals, educational institutions and cow shelters under the management of the Sacho Satram Tirath Dham Trust.”

    He said the Sacho Satram Tirath Dham Trust is organising various events to promote awareness of this monumental religious initiative. HE emphasised the significance of engaging youngsters in such efforts, particularly as many tend to distance themselves from religious gatherings.

    “The SSD Knowledge Series 4.0 aims to bring together the youth and educate them about our traditions and the impactful work being carried out by the Trust,” he said, adding that motivational speaker Sonu Sharma will provide guidance to the audience, in particular the young participants, while Padma Shri Mathurbhai Savani will offer his perspective on the importance of the Tirath Dham and its broader objectives.

    Ahmedabad (Gujarat) [India], December 9: Serving Indian farmers since 2005, Dhanlaxmi Crop Science is a technology-driven seed company engaged in the development, production, processing, and supply of hybrid and open-pollinated seeds for a wide range of field crops and vegetables. These seeds ensure better quality and higher yields suited to diverse agro-climatic conditions. The company is poised for its Initial Public Offering (IPO), with plans to raise ₹23.80 crores through the issuance of 43.28 lakh new shares.

    For its SME Initial Public Offering (IPO), Dhanlaxmi Crop Science Limited has established a price band of ₹52 to ₹55 per share. The company’s shares will open for subscription on December 9, 2024, and close on December 11, 2024. These shares will be listed on the NSE SME platform, with a projected listing date of Monday, December 16, 2024.

    Finshore Management Services Limited is the book-running lead manager for the Dhanlaxmi Crop Science IPO, while Bigshare Services Pvt Ltd is the registrar for the issue.

    The proceeds from the issue will be utilized to meet working capital requirements and for general corporate purposes. The shares for the Dhanlaxmi Crop Science IPO are expected to be allotted on Thursday, December 12, 2024, and credited to the demat accounts of the allottees on Friday, December 13, 2024. The IPO allocation comprises 50% of the net issue for Qualified Institutional Buyers (QIBs), 35% for retail investors, and 15% for the Non-Institutional Investor (NII) segment.

    Retail investors need to contribute a minimum of ₹1,10,000, as the minimum lot size for an application is 2,000 shares. For HNIs, the minimum bidding size is two lots, or 4,000 shares, requiring a total investment of ₹2,20,000 at the upper price band.

    Dhanlaxmi Crop Science Ltd reported revenue of ₹11,996.26 lakhs for HY1 FY25, with a net profit of ₹820.81 lakhs. The company boasts a Return on Capital Employed (ROCE) of 39.07%, a Return on Equity (ROE) of 33.82%, and a Debt-to-Equity ratio of 0.06.

    The company integrates traditional breeding techniques with biotechnological tools to produce hybrid and open-pollinated varieties of field crops and vegetable seeds. These seeds offer higher yields, improved quality, and greater tolerance to pests and diseases compared to naturally occurring varieties.

    As of March 31, 2024, the company’s product portfolio includes over 24 seed varieties for various field crops and vegetables. It operates through a network of 1,185 authorized dealers across four states and has access to farmland in four states through contractual agreements with more than 45 seed growers and organizers.
