More than 300 alumni from the 2000–2025 batches, now holding prestigious positions across India and abroad, returned to the very campus where their dreams first took flight. The reunion turned deeply emotional when 86-year-old founder faculty member Dr. G. V. Kulkarni arrived at the venue. As soon as he entered, former students gathered around him, some reminiscing about their cherished moments, while others shared stories of his invaluable guidance. The atmosphere reflected a beautiful blend of warmth, respect, and heartfelt emotions.

Alumni revisited their old haunts—the canteen, library, and classrooms—reliving memories that seemed frozen in time. Every corner echoed with laughter, while some moments brought tears of nostalgia.

The event was graced by architect Achal Chaudhary as the chief guest, who encouraged alumni to stay connected with the institution and support emerging architects. Principal Prof. Dr. Manita Saxena expressed gratitude to all attendees and announced an innovative app, “SkillScoop,” aimed at bridging the gap between students and professionals.

The event was smoothly coordinated under the guidance of architect Neelam Kushwaha. Cultural performances, dance, and jamming sessions infused the atmosphere with energy and enthusiasm.

A key highlight of the event was the Alumni Association elections, held after nearly 15 years, with enthusiastic participation from members in selecting new leadership.

In the end, when all alumni stood together for a group photograph, it wasn’t just a picture—it was a living frame of 25 years of memories, relationships, and shared dreams.

This gathering was not merely a reunion, but an emotional celebration that reconnected hearts and opened new pathways for the future.

Teenaa Rath among National toppers with 100%;  nearly 60% of students scored above 90%

Bhubaneswar (Odisha) [India], April 18: Odisha’s Mother’s Group of Schools delivered an outstanding performance in the CBSE Class X Examination 2025–26, with Teenaa Rath of Mother’s Public School, Puri, securing a perfect 100% and emerging among the national toppers.

The institution recorded a100% pass result, with 177 out of 299 students (nearly 60%) scoring 90% and above, underscoring its consistent academic excellence across campuses.

Teenaa Rath’s achievement, placing her among the top scorers nationally, reflects exceptional dedication, discipline, and academic focus, further strengthening the institution’s legacy of producing top-ranking students.

Continuing its legacy of producing top achievers, the institution had earlier recorded outstanding milestones with Sai Uditi (State Topper, AIR 3 in 2018–19), Shreya Patnaik (National Topper with 100% in 2021–22), and Jeet Puja Panda (State Topper in 2023–24).

Among other high achievers, Akshit Samal from Unit-1 secured the second position with 99.8%. Several students also achieved an outstanding 99.4%, including Anwesha Jayasingh, Sai Ujwol Paikaray, Subham Pattanaik, Swayam Sekhar Sundaray, Piyush Samantaray, Rishit Panigrahi (all from the Unit-1 campus, Bhubaneswar), and Shreyaditi Martha from the Puri campus.

The results reflect strong performance across all campuses. Unit-1campus recorded 72% of students scoring above 90%, followed by Khandagiri (61%), Puri (45%), and Pahala (42%). The overall academic averages further reinforce consistency, with Unit-1 achieving 91.3%, Khandagiri 90%, Pahala 87.40%, and Puri 82.47%.

What distinguishes this achievement is that it was realised within a holistic learning environment that equally emphasises academics, co-curricular engagement, and skill-based education. The institution continues to foster well-rounded individuals equipped for future challenges.

The program offers a distinctive approach to design education through a choice-based, studio-led pedagogy, enabling students to shape their own academic pathways. Studios account for nearly 70 per cent of the curriculum and are conducted in small, interactive groups, ensuring immersive, practice-led learning and close mentorship.

Designed to nurture designers who are contextually aware, critically reflective, and professionally agile, the B.Des (Hons) integrates theoretical grounding with hands-on engagement. Students can pursue majors in Product Design or Communication Design, or explore a multidisciplinary pathway by not choosing any majors.

Kozhikode (Kerala) [India], April 10: Avani Institute of Design is pleased to announce admissions for its five-year undergraduate Bachelor of Architecture (B Arch) programme for the academic year 2026-27. With a total intake of 80 seats, the programme offers 40 seats under the Merit category and 40 seats under the Management/NRI category.

The B.Arch programme at Avani is designed to cultivate a comprehensive understanding of architectural concepts, planning, and design. Applicants must have successfully completed Higher Secondary (10+2) or an equivalent examination with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects, along with one of the following: Chemistry, Biology, Technical Vocational subject, Computer Science, Information Technology, Informatics Practices, Engineering Graphics, or Business Studies, securing at least 45% aggregate marks. Alternatively, candidates with a 10+3 Diploma with Mathematics as a compulsory subject and a minimum of 45% aggregate marks are also eligible.

In addition, candidates must possess a valid National Aptitude Test in Architecture (NATA) score. Students appearing for NATA in 2026 may apply provisionally, subject to meeting eligibility requirements upon declaration of results. Applicants must also have completed 17 years of age as of the last date of application submission.

Learners may choose between Global Supply Chain Management and Integrated Logistics Strategy, depending on their role and career focus. They also study sourcing decisions, supply-side vulnerabilities, competitive pressures and the regulatory realities that shape global trade and logistics ecosystems.

The global supply chain management market, estimated at USD 29.34 billion in 2025, is expected to rise to USD 72.82 billion by 2034, reflecting a CAGR of 10.40%.In India, the sector continues to gain momentum through digital adoption, infrastructure upgrades and policy-led manufacturing growth. The country’s export opportunity is expanding across sectors, with electronics exports to the United States alone projected to touch USD 80 billion by 2030. The first phase of the Master Certificate in Global Supply Chain Management consists of two eight-week core modules in supply chain management. These modules cover key areas such as Customer Service and Channels, Business Models and Sourcing, Forecasting, Advanced Planning and Scheduling, Inventory Management, Transportation and Warehousing, Supply Chain Integration and Performance Measurement, etc. After completing the foundational modules, participants progress into their chosen specialisation for a further eight weeks.

The learning experience follows an applied and interactive approach. Delivered in a 100% online format, the programme includes weekly sessions, online assessments, case-based instruction and collaborative discussions.
