  • Academio builds a team of 30+ IB & IGCSE Educators; Clocks 20% student growth Month-on-Month

Academio builds a team of 30+ IB & IGCSE Educators; Clocks 20% student growth Month-on-Month

With this, Academio addresses a critical shortage of qualified IB and Cambridge IGCSE curriculum specialists in India. Nitasha Sagar Kukar, Founder & CEO, Academio

New Delhi [India], April 08: Academio, an online tutoring platform specialising in the IB and Cambridge IGCSE curricula, has recorded up to 20% month-on-month growth in student enrolments over the course of its first year of operations. Founded in February 2025 and operating on a one-on-one tutoring model, the platform has built an expert team of 30+ specialist educators that have even IB and Cambridge examiners with an average teaching experience of over 10 years.

IB and Cambridge IGCSE schools in India have grown by over 40% in just five years. Yet qualified academic support for students in these programmes remains critically scarce. Students have largely depended on coaching designed for domestic boards, which fails to address the conceptual rigour, assessment philosophy, and examination technique that IB and Cambridge IGCSE demand — leaving a structural gap that continues to grow alongside the curricula’s own expansion.

Academio was founded by Nitasha Sagar Kukar, an engineer with an MBA from IIM Bangalore and a career spanning Procter & Gamble and Accenture, who encountered this gap firsthand as a parent navigating the IB system for her own child. “The IB and Cambridge IGCSE curricula demand a fundamentally different kind of teaching,” said Kukar. “These programmes reward conceptual depth and analytical thinking. One of our defining choices has been to build our educator network without geographical constraints, bringing the best of global IB and Cambridge expertise directly to students in India, including educators with international teaching experience from beyond India’s borders. Our network exists because we refused to compromise on that standard.”

95% of Academio’s 32 active tutors were brought on through academic referrals, not open applications, each holding a minimum of 3 years of dedicated experience in the specific curriculum they teach. The network includes practising IB and Cambridge examiners, giving students direct access to educators who assess the very papers they sit.

The platform’s results are a testament to this. 95% of students have improved by at least one grade and 90% have exceeded their predicted grades in board examinations relative to mocks or end-of-year assessments.

Having established its presence in the Delhi NCR market through its Gurugram centre, operational since April 2025, Academio is now looking at expanding its footprint to Bengaluru and Pune.

    About Academio

Academio (academio.co.in) is an online academic support platform specialising in the International Baccalaureate (IB) and Cambridge IGCSE curricula. Founded in February 2025 and headquartered in Gurugram, Academio provides one-on-one tutoring and academic mentoring for students from middle school through high school. Its network of 32 specialist educators — including IB and Cambridge examiners — is sourced primarily through academic referrals, with each tutor holding a minimum of three years of dedicated experience in their specific curriculum.

  • How Dnyaneshwar Wagh Is Transforming Teachers into Rs. 10–28 LPA Principals in Just 90 Days with Wagh Sir Edu Pro

How Dnyaneshwar Wagh Is Transforming Teachers into Rs. 10–28 LPA Principals in Just 90 Days with Wagh Sir Edu Pro

New Delhi [India], April 08: For decades, a deeply rooted belief has shaped the career journey of educators across India—that becoming a school principal requires 10 to 15 years of teaching experience. This traditional mindset has often delayed the growth of capable and ambitious teachers, keeping them stuck in the same roles despite having the potential to lead.

Challenging this long-standing perception is Dnyaneshwar Wagh, a CBSE Principal and the founder of Wagh Sir Edu Pro. With over 20 years of research into the education ecosystem, Wagh has introduced a structured and results-driven approach that is redefining how teachers grow in their careers.

At the core of his philosophy lies a powerful idea: career growth is not about time—it’s about having the right system.

A Breakthrough Backed by 20 Years of Research

Over the past two decades, Dnyaneshwar Wagh has closely analyzed the challenges faced by educators. His research focused on a critical question—why do many teachers remain stuck for years despite having degrees, experience, and dedication?

When Wagh began his own journey as a Post Graduate Teacher (PGT), he chose not to follow the traditional path. Instead, he applied his research-backed strategies. The result was extraordinary—he became a school principal within just one year, a milestone that typically takes over a decade.

This success eventually evolved into what is now known as the 90 Days Success Framework, a structured roadmap designed to fast-track teachers into leadership roles.

From Personal Success to Nationwide Impact

What started as a personal breakthrough has now become a nationwide movement. Through Wagh Sir Edu Pro, hundreds of educators have transformed their careers using this framework.

According to the organization, the system has already:

    • Helped over 1,000 teachers significantly increase their salaries
    • Guided more than 100 educators to secure school principal positions
    • Created a clear and actionable pathway for leadership roles in CBSE schools

Unlike traditional career progression methods, which rely heavily on tenure and internal promotions, this framework emphasizes strategic positioning, skill development, and focused execution.

Wagh Sir Edu Pro’s Transformation Stories

The real impact of Dnyaneshwar Wagh’s system can be seen through the inspiring success stories of educators who transformed their careers in record time:

Ms. Neha Prajapati – Tired of slow growth and limited salary, she became a Principal in just 42 days with a ₹10 LPA package.

Rajeshwari Singh – Despite having degrees and experience, she lacked direction. Stuck at ₹28K/month, she rose to ₹80K/month as a Principal after learning leadership and CBSE systems.

Madhuri Singh – Facing long working hours, low pay, and no work-life balance, she became a Principal within 27 days with a ₹9 LPA package, gaining stability and respect.

Prajakta Joshi – Seeing others stuck at ₹30–40K for years pushed her to act. Needing ₹65K+ for her family, she became a Principal in 57 days.

Vikram Gupta – After 15 years of false promises and no growth, he broke the cycle and achieved a Principal position with the right system.

Priyanka Singh – Struggling to move beyond teaching, she achieved her breakthrough and became a Principal in 90 days.

Divya Sharma – With a desire for faster growth but no clear roadmap, she secured a Principal position in just 40 days.

Nasrin Begum – Stuck as a coordinator with limited authority, she stepped into a Principal role within 29 days at Pratibha International School.

Rajani Korade – A pre-primary teacher with low income and high responsibilities, she upgraded to Vice Principal with a ₹9 LPA package at Global International School.

Riya Sharma – An assistant teacher with minimal recognition, she transformed into a Principal at Sanskar International School.

Sunil Patil – After waiting years with no clarity on promotion, he became a Principal in 87 days at Raisoni English Medium School.

These transformations highlight a major shift—career growth is no longer dependent on years of service, but on strategy and execution.

    Recognition in National Media

The growing success of this model has attracted widespread attention. The transformation stories linked to Dnyaneshwar Wagh’s framework have been featured on platforms like ABP News, showcasing how teachers across India are accelerating their careers.

This recognition reflects the rising demand for structured and practical career growth systems in the education sector.

The 90 Days Success Framework Explained

The framework is built on three core pillars:

    1. Positioning

Teachers are trained to present themselves as leadership-ready professionals through strong CVs, personal branding, and clarity in career goals.

    2. Preparation

This stage focuses on equipping educators with essential knowledge such as CBSE bye-laws, leadership skills, and school management systems.

    3. Placement

Candidates receive guidance on interviews, salary negotiation, and job placement strategies to secure leadership roles within a defined timeline.

This structured approach removes uncertainty and replaces long waiting periods with focused and measurable progress.

Meeting the Needs of a Growing Education Sector

India’s education sector is expanding rapidly, creating a strong demand for capable school leaders. However, many teachers still face stagnant salaries, limited growth opportunities, and lack of proper guidance.

Dnyaneshwar Wagh’s 90 Days Success Framework addresses this gap by providing a practical and scalable solution tailored to modern educators.

    A New Perspective for Teachers

For teachers earning between ₹25,000 and ₹40,000 per month and waiting years for promotions, this approach offers a new direction. It encourages educators to move beyond traditional limitations and take control of their career growth.

The message is simple yet powerful—with the right strategy, tools, and mentorship, leadership roles can be achieved much faster than ever before.

    Conclusion

As the education landscape evolves, innovative approaches like the one introduced by Dnyaneshwar Wagh are redefining career growth for teachers across India. By combining research, structure, and execution, the 90 Days Success Framework is emerging as a powerful alternative to traditional career paths.

For educators aspiring to step into leadership roles, this is not just an opportunity—it is a complete shift in how success is defined in the teaching profession.

  • Nitte University strengthens Management Education with industry-integrated MBA programs across its campuses

Nitte University strengthens Management Education with industry-integrated MBA programs across its campuses

Nitte University strengthens management education with industry-integrated MBA programs across campuses.

Mangaluru,(Karnataka) [India], April 08: Nitte University has announced admissions for its MBA programs offered through its constituent institutions, Justice K S Hegde Institute of Management and Nitte Meenakshi Institute of Technology. Nitte’s MBA program brings together academic depth, industry engagement & practical learning and reflects a clear shift in how management education is being approached today. Employers are not just looking for degrees. They are looking for readiness.

Who is it for? Graduates from any discipline who aspire to build careers in business and management.
What is being offered? A two-year MBA program with a strong focus on applied learning and industry alignment.

When can students apply? Admissions are open for the upcoming academic intake.

Why does it matter? Because industries today demand professionals who can think, adapt and contribute from day one.

How does it work? Through a blend of classroom learning, industry exposure, practical projects and skill development initiatives.

The program is built on a structured academic foundation. Students are introduced to core management domains such as finance, marketing, human resources and operations. But the learning does not remain compartmentalized. Concepts are connected. Discussions often move beyond theory into application. Students are encouraged to question assumptions and understand the broader impact of business decisions.

A defining strength of the program lies in its industry integration. Through collaborations and academic partnerships, students gain access to practical insights that go beyond textbooks. Memorandums of Understanding with industry bodies and organizations enable exposure to real-time business environments. These partnerships support internships, live projects and collaborative learning opportunities.

Specialized labs and learning spaces add another dimension. These are not just physical facilities. They are environments where students test ideas, work on simulations and engage in experiential activities. Whether it is analyzing market data or understanding operational challenges, students learn by doing. That makes a difference over time.

The faculty bring both academic strength and industry exposure. Some have worked closely with corporate teams. Others bring research-driven perspectives. This mix creates a learning space where theory meets practice naturally. Conversations are often layered. A simple case study can lead to multiple viewpoints. That depth prepares students for common challenges.

The program places strong emphasis on continuous industry interaction and simulation-based experiential learning. Students engage in structured simulations that mirror real business situations, helping them test decisions and understand outcomes in a practical setting. Learning is further supported through advanced facilities such as the Bloomberg Lab, where students gain exposure to real-time financial data and analytics. In addition, the curriculum includes embedded training in in-demand tools like Tableau, Power BI, SPSS and Orange, enabling students to build relevant technical skills alongside management knowledge. The program also offers international immersion opportunities through university-certified global learning experiences, giving students exposure to different markets, business practices and cultures. Together, these elements create a learning environment that is both applied and globally aware.

Equally important is the focus on skill development. Communication, teamwork, analytical thinking and leadership are embedded into the learning process. Students participate in presentations, group discussion and collaborative assignments. Over time, they develop the confidence to express ideas clearly and work effectively in teams.

The diversity of the student community adds to the experience. Learners from different academic and cultural backgrounds come together. This creates a dynamic classroom environment. Discussions are richer. Perspectives vary. Students learn to appreciate different viewpoints, which is essential in any professional setting.

The outcomes of the program are clearly defined. Graduates are expected to develop strong problem-solving abilities. They learn to analyze situations, make informed decisions and adapt to changing business conditions. Students also gain clarity on their career paths through internships and project work. By the time they graduate, they are better prepared to take on roles across industries and functions.

Placement support plays a key role in this journey. Dedicated teams guide students through the recruitment process. From resume building to interview preparation, structured support is provided at every stage. Industry connections further help in opening up opportunities across sectors.

As industries continue to evolve, the need for adaptable professionals remains strong. Programs that combine academic learning with real exposure are becoming increasingly relevant. Nitte University’s MBA offering reflects this direction.

Admissions are now open. Interested candidates can explore the program and begin their application process. Applicants can apply for the MBA program through NUCAT, with registrations for NUCAT Test 2 closing on 16 April 2026. For those looking to build a meaningful career in management, this could be the right place to start.

So make sure to register at apply.nitte.edu.inbefore the deadline.

  • Unwritten Skills Through Storytelling – The Human Edge AI Can’t Replicate

Unwritten Skills Through Storytelling – The Human Edge AI Can’t Replicate

New Delhi [India], April 02: The world’s higher education system is at an inflection point.  As AI rapidly masters technical and analytical skills, the real question is no longer what students know, but what makes them irreplaceable.

A recent survey by LinkedIn, conducted across its billion-plus users, makes this shift undeniable: the most valuable skills today are leadership, mentoring, communication and increasingly, storytelling. More companies are actively seeking professionals who can think clearly, influence decisively, and communicate through powerful narratives.

Yet, storytelling remains one of the most overlooked capabilities in formal education.

That is where Unwritten Skills changes the game.

Our programmes are built on a bold dual engine: Cinematic Storytelling from Global Thought Leaders, and the deliberate development of storytelling as a core skill in every participant.

Participants are not simply taught, they are immersed.

They step into high-stakes, real-world scenarios like leadership dilemmas, ethical conflicts, uncertainty, and pressure – brought to life through cinematic storytelling. At pivotal moments, everything comes down to one defining question:

What would you do and what story from your own life would guide you?

This is where learning becomes transformation.

Through our Thought Auctions, participants don’t just respond, they debate, challenge, and sharpen decisions in real time, drawing from both the stories they witness and the stories they carry. Nearly 75% of the programme is outcome-driven, building judgment, clarity, confidence and the ability to communicate with impact.

Our flagship programme, “How to Create Something from Nothing” is powered by the real-world journeys of exceptional thought leaders:

    • Pratap Mendonca, a UAE-based entrepreneur who has built ventures across technology, pharmaceuticals, and diagnostics, brings a sharp entrepreneurial lens spotting hidden opportunities and acting decisively in uncertain environments.
    • Rajeev Krishnan, former CEO of leading US and European retail multinationals and advisor to one of the world’s largest consulting firms, brings the corporate edge driving execution, scale, and stakeholder alignment within complex organisations.

Together, they reinforce a powerful truth:

Opportunity is not found. It is created.

As AI reshapes industries, the winners will not be those who simply know more, but those who can navigate ambiguity, make decisions under pressure, and influence others through powerful storytelling.

Because in the end, the ultimate edge in the AI Age belongs to those who don’t just learn from stories, but know how to build them, use them, and lead with them.

The NLD Synapse ecosystem reflected this approach by bringing together students from diverse disciplines, industry leaders, and the investor community to exchange ideas and explore real opportunities.

The event featured four core competitions, each designed to assess a key aspect of modern business.

Synthesis: The research paper presentation competition brought forward rigorous, data-backed insights on the theme “India’s Consumption Economy 2030: Scaling Growth Responsibly through Sustainability.” Participants presented outstanding research infused with data, real-world understanding, and innovative thinking. The quality of work highlighted NLDIMSR’s growing focus on building a research-driven mindset and applying theory to solve emerging industry challenges.

BrainSprint: A national-level business case study challenge that tested UG, MBA, and PGDM students’ ability to solve complex business situations. Participants tackled cases across marketing, finance, and corporate strategy, thinking on their feet under time pressure. Evaluated by academic and industry experts, BrainSprint highlighted strategic decision-making and readiness for real boardroom environments.

DecodeX: The 24-hour national-level hackathon brought together 4500+ participants from 400+ institutions across India. It became a major attraction at Synapse, bringing together top analytics talent for an intense, data-driven problem-solving experience. Participants worked on real-world business cases, applying analytical frameworks, decoding complex datasets, and delivering actionable insights within tight timelines.

With live evaluation from industry and academic experts, national-level recognition, PPIs for top teams, and immersive learning across multiple domains, DecodeX offered one of the most high-impact arenas of Synapse, blending hands-on analytics with the event’s dynamic environment.

BluePrint: The start-up pitching platform connected high-potential early-stage founders with a seasoned investor panel, emerging as a standout and one of the most anticipated platforms at Synapse.

BluePrint attracted more than 5,300 Series A start-up registrations and over 590 start-up applications, reflecting the growing credibility of the initiative. After multiple rounds of evaluation, 30 start-ups were shortlisted for a virtual round of discussions, and 11 finalists earned the opportunity to pitch live before an esteemed panel of investors.

The founders brought forward high-calibre ideas across FinTech, AI, Climate Tech, HealthTech, advanced technology, and other high-impact sectors, demonstrating strong market understanding and potential.

The participation of a Shark Tank India-featured start-up further added to the initiative’s visibility and entrepreneurial relevance. Beyond the pitching experience, founders were given access to a pledged fund of up to $500,000 through incubation and mentorship enabled by the network of Venture Catalysts.

Investors appreciated the level of preparedness and clarity of the ideas, reflecting NLDIMSR’s focus on building platforms that drive meaningful outcomes. Unlike a typical college pitch competition, BluePrint has evolved into a credible interface between founders and the investor community—serving as a unique bridge between academia and entrepreneurship.

Together, these competitions reflected Synapse as a platform designed to identify potential, reward depth, and create credible pathways between academic excellence and larger opportunity.

While competition formed the core of Synapse, the event was equally shaped by the energy and vibrancy of campus life. With an engaging mix of DJ performances, stand-up comedy, open mic sessions, and cross-college networking, the experience was curated to feel not only intellectually stimulating but also dynamic and memorable. This balance added depth to the event, reflecting an understanding that platforms of this scale are strengthened not only by rigour and performance but also by the sense of connection, participation, and shared experience they create.

NLD Synapse 2026 reflects the caliber, clarity, and vision with which N. L. Dalmia Institute of Management Studies and Research continues to distinguish itself. More than an annual event, it has become a powerful expression of the institute’s ability to create experiences that are relevant, immersive, and future-facing. In doing so, Synapse leaves behind not just visibility, but lasting recall—strengthening NLDIMSR’s standing as an institute that people do not simply notice, but remember and increasingly look towards for what comes next.

AIR Commons 2026 Positions Clean Air as a Shared Civic Responsibility, Calls for Ground-Up Action

Ahmedabad (Gujarat) [India], March 31: At a time when India continues to grapple with complex air pollution challenges, AIR Commons 2026 brought together voices from science, policy, industry, and civil society to reframe air quality as a shared public good requiring collective, ground-up action.

Organised by the Indian Air Quality Network (IAQN) in collaboration with i-Hub Gujarat, the convening reflects IAQN’s growing role as a national platform that bridges academia, policymakers, industry, and communities to enable more integrated, solution-driven approaches to air quality management.

    AIR Commons 2026

Held on the eve of the anniversary of the Air (Prevention and Control of Pollution) Act, 1981, the event was attended by Chief Guests Shri Kartikeya Sarabhai and Mr. Shailesh Patwari, along with experts and practitioners from across the country.

Among the key voices, Dr. Gufran Beig emphasised the importance of airshed-based air quality management supported by real-time monitoring and advanced analytical tools, highlighting the need to move beyond fragmented, city-level responses.

    AIR Commons 2026

    From Awareness to Ownership

Discussions underscored that air pollution is no longer just an environmental or regulatory issue, but a systemic challenge shaped by urbanisation, infrastructure, consumption patterns, and governance gaps.

Shri Sarabhai highlighted the role of behavioural change and environmental education, while Mr. Patwari described air pollution as a “silent killer,” calling for stronger accountability and a shift from compliance-driven systems to responsibility-led action.

    From Data to Decision

A key takeaway from the convening was the need to move beyond monitoring towards actionable intelligence and implementation.

    Experts highlighted the importance of:

    • Real-time data systems
    • Integrated decision-making frameworks
    • Airshed-level planning for long-term impact

Urban systems emerged as critical levers, with discussions focusing on transport, construction, waste, and indoor environments as priority areas for intervention.

    Bridging Science, Systems, and Society

The conversations reinforced the need for stronger alignment among science, policy, and public participation to solve air pollution.

Behavioural change, citizen engagement, and robust implementation frameworks were identified as essential to translating knowledge into measurable outcomes.

AIR Commons 2026 featured innovation showcases, startup demonstrations, and emerging research presentations, highlighting a growing ecosystem of solution-driven approaches across monitoring, analytics, and implementation.

    The Road Ahead

As India progresses toward its vision of Viksit Bharat 2047, AIR Commons 2026 reinforced a clear shift:

The challenge is no longer about lack of knowledge or technology, but about collaboration, execution, and scaling solutions. By positioning air as a commons, IAQN aims to catalyse a more inclusive and action-oriented clean air movement, bringing stakeholders together to move from intent to impact.
