Mumbai (Maharashtra) [India], September 20: The trailer of “Dilli Kaand”, a characteristic movie based mainly on several sexual assault incidents in Delhi, was launched recently in Mumbai. Writer/director & producer is Kritik Kumar, and the Film Music is released by – Zee Music Company. The film trailer got appreciated, making a mark and “Kaisa Ye Dard Tera” Sad song released today sung by Harshit Saxena, composed by Shashank Ranjan and choreograph by Kritik Kumar.

The movie is set to come out in theatres on 24th September 2021. Director Kritik Kumar, actors Kaashvi Kanchan, Preetika Chauhan and Shaahbaz Baweja were present at the launch.

Speaking to the media, the movie’s director & producer, Kritik Kumar, clarified — “However, the movie appeared to be based on a certain case, it is not. The movie ‘Dilli Kaand’ is actually based on all of the incidents of sexual assault cases within the nation.

“So far, the investigation of cases of sexual violence has been shown in many films. Whereas, our film dwells on the severity of both physical and mental trauma of the victim and her closeby.”

“Also, a girl’s suffering, the much pain she has to endure, what happens to her family, all these things are depicted in the film.”

“Through this film, we have questioned the willingness of the common public to raise their voice against persecution, sexual assault, or molestation of a woman. People don’t come forward to help.”

Produced under the banner of Fashion Parade Films, the movie has been co-produced by 21st Century Arts. A south actress Kaashvi Kanchan has portrayed the role of a victim of the said incident.

In the movie, Shaahbaz Baweja plays the difficult role of the culprit. Virender Saxena plays the part of the victim’s father alongside TV actress Preetika Chauhan, who plays the role of a journalist.

September 20: Season two of the India Fashion Awards is all set and will happen on 25th September in the Andaz, New Delhi.

The supreme jury panel for the same has been revealed, and it will be pretty interesting to see them curating and dedicating awards to industry members who displayed creativity and innovation in the year 2020-2021

Mumbai (Maharashtra) [India], September 18: Sasmira’s Institute of Design and Textile (SIDT) in its continuous endeavor to promote design literate human resource pool in today’s competitive market organized Enchanté 2021 on 17-Sept in Mumbai. 

The central theme of the Fashion Collection 2021 was ‘Art Decoded’. In this annual festival, students were given the opportunity to showcase their designs and collections. Dr. Shivram Garje from Mumbai University, Shri Maganlal H. Doshi, President, SASMIRA; Shri. Mihir Mehta, VP, SASMIRA; Dr. U. K. Gangopadhyay, Executive Director, SASMIRA; Dr. Kamal Tandon, Director – Education, SASMIRA were the Guest of Honors. 

 

Special Guests were Ammit Dolaawat, Indian actor; Rituraj Mohanty, Bollywood Playback Singer and Winner of reality singing show ‘India’s Raw Star’; Kunal Pandit, Singer, Songwriter, Music Producer, and performer. Rituraj and Kunal sang some Bollywood songs to encourage the participating students and filled the atmosphere with joy and happiness.

Eminent Jury Members present at the event were Manali Jagtap (Award-winning fashion designer and political artist); Reshma Bombaywalla (Former Indian model, Jewellery designer); Asif Merchant (Founder & MD of India’s Leading Women’s Fashion footwear brand ‘CATWALK WORLDWIDE’); Lokesh Kerkar (One of the frontrunners in the Indian visual artist industry).

 

There were 18 Fashion Show Sequences which was directed by Shie Lobo and his fantastic team to choreograph the sequences with panache and grandeur. Uma, Shreya, Shailaja won the title ‘The Most Commercially Viable Collection’ for presenting indo western collection portraying the face of today’s urban women; Meenakshi, Shilpa won the title ‘The Best Surface Ornamentation’ for presenting street style and avant-garde collection using origami art; Prithi, Darshana, Rutuja won the title ‘The Best Ramp Appeal’ they presented party wear collection by using Klimits geometric and ornamental patterns and Gaurav, Imran, Riddhi won the title ‘The Best Collection Fashion’ for presenting uber-cool streetwear collection inspired by the works of famous American painter Jackson Pollock and his signature Drip Technique.

 

 

Shri. Mihir Mehta, VP, SASMIRA was of the view that, “In India, the fashion industry is at an infant stage. There are a lot of opportunities when we compare it with other countries. What’s essential is dedication and vision to analyze the opportunity. Our students are very focused and hardworking and our faculties are trying to train them not only in garments and fashion but also about textile, fabrics, yarns and other important aspects”

Krishnendu Datta, Dean SIDT said, “The students and faculties of SIDT have worked extremely hard, despite the trying times of pandemic, to put an excellent fashion collection to showcase their design creativity. Due to COVID, entry was restricted to a limited audience on-ground but more than 1400 people participated online; which consisted of council members, industry executives, partners, and parents. September 17: Parveen Kumar’s journey began, like most other people, in the realm of dreams. Growing up in the heat of Delhi summers, playing cricket and hitting sixes, he dreamt of making it big in the world. But like the rest of us, he was not quite sure how to go about achieving it.

Egged on by his father’s persistence and encouragement, Parveen chose a career that was markedly different from that of his civil servant family members. It was a stray advertisement in a newspaper that sparked his interest and journey into the world of modelling.

The first song, the title itself, is about the refreshing excitement of encountering someone special who took her breath away.

Mumbai (Maharashtra) [India], 15th Sep 2021: A journey from the vegetable seller to Bollywood singer Arun Kumar Nikam’s song “Dil Se Hain Salaam” was launched by Bhajan Samrat Anup Jalota. The song is a tribute to India’s very own hero Sonu Sood. Comedian Sunil Pal, Producer Subhash Dawar, Ashok Hadiya and other music celebrities were present for the song launch and gave a thumbs up for the song.

Arun Kumar Nikam has given the lyrics to this song. He is the singer and video director of the song, while music has been composed by Gaurav Kumar. When asked about his journey, he stated, “The idea for the song came to me instantly when I was waiting for a chance to meet Sonu Sood during the coronavirus outbreak.” After the recording of the song, Nikam met Sonu Sood and received a green signal from him.

Anup Jalota Ji stated, “Arun is a natural talent. It is one of the best tributes to Sonu Sood for his incredible works to society. I must say Arun’s dedication & hard work reflects in the song, and I wish one day he will do playback singing for films as well.”
Under the banner of Shree Subh Labh Film Production House, the song is produced by Dr. Sanjay Patel, Ashok Hadiya and Subhash Dawar, with Jay Tilekar and Khyati Bhatt as line procedures. September 14: In the sea of R&B artists, Aritra Das, better known as Aritra, attains a unique taste to his music that is infused with a mixture of various genres such as Hip hop, Blues-rock, Jazz and electronica. Originally from Ahmedabad, this young R&B artist is famous for his versatility and is full of skills; it may come as a surprise that Aritra’s music does not follow any particular genre, his vocals focus more on his emotions that inspires him to present the best in him.

Distorted thoughts are a real-life narration of events as experienced by the singer himself. It’s a self-description of a girl trying to escape her Karma for all the wrongdoings she did but unfortunately failed at it. As written from a negative perspective, it speaks about the struggles and practices the character goes through and meets her unfortunate end, serving justice.
