  • Kuldeep Gurjar – Maestro Entrepreneur who is The Iron Pillar of Youth Congress In Haryana

Kuldeep Gurjar – Maestro Entrepreneur who is The Iron Pillar of Youth Congress In Haryana

January 29: “The key to successful leadership is Influence and not authority”. Kuldeep Gurjar, the senior regional leader of congress from Haryana State Legislative Assembly strongly believes in the ideology of influence before authority. Along with Politics, Kuldeep has also started various businesses, so as to provide financial support to the poor section of the society. This Maestro Entrepreneur and Politician is a living example of an ideal citizen of the country.  He has been very actively participating in the Politics since a decade now, and even though he was formerly the State Vice President OBC Department for Haryana Congress and presently the State Secretary of Youth Congress Haryana, he is very down to earth and humble.

He has entered into politics without any support purely on the basis of his own determination and sacrifice. “He is a very influential person amongst the youth of Haryana and he has earned this by working for the youth day and night. Even if people call him at midnight for any kind of help, he eagerly helps them selflessly.” Says one of his co-workers. At a young, age Kuldeep was driven towards making a change in the society. He as a child has been a very radical student. He could never see injustice in the form of his eyes and this is the reason he actively criticised the school and college administration for their mistakes. “When you fight and achieve your rights the value of those rights automatically increases.” This way when Kuldeep fought for his democratic rights he started valuing them more and more. “India is the most democratic country in the world, and if a person is subjected to injustice, be willing to take a firm stance to get justice. You can be 100% sure he will get the Justice sooner or later,” says Kuldeep Gurjar. After student life he started working for the betterment of youth specially from rural areas. Even before joining the Congress party he had already done a lot of ground work as a social activist. Once he joined Congress he got the resources to to things at a better level and this made him the most popular youth icon of Haryana as he actually used his power and position for the betterment of the youth.

At present, this avid entrepreneur and Politician Kuldeep Gurjar, is the Spokesperson of Haryana Congress Party and is constantly working for the Congress party and conducting seminars online and offline so as to enlighten the people about the policies the government has made for them. “Making policies is one thing and executing the policies is another thing. The present BJP government is very good at announcing new policies but it is equally bad when it comes to implementation. If you go to any slum and ask the people about their rights and benefits. I can bet that nobody would answer. When giving benefits to the needy is in question, the present BJP govt fails miserably. The execution system is in the hands of ‘Dalals’ and they take money from the poors to give to them what is actually made for poors free of cost. We at Congress are working constantly to let the poor people get the most out of the existing policies.” Kuldeep Gurjar tells us.

Kuldeep Gurjar has been an integral part of Haryana Congress and by looking at such able leadership, we are sure he is going to take the party to a different scale.

Statue Grooming by Wild Stone: Great Men Deserve To Look Great

New Delhi [India], January 28: Brands have to work hard to catch the attention of their consumers. But this task gets even more challenging if you are a men’s grooming brand. In India, the men’s grooming category is dominated by international brands that sign up popular male celebrities as their ambassadors, making it difficult for relatively new Indian brands like Wild Stone to enter and break the clutter.

Wild Stone, a homegrown Indian brand, is making a splash in this sea of sameness through its out of box thinking.

India loves its national heroes, and their statues can be found all around us. But despite best efforts, these statues are often neglected and not well-maintained. So, Instead of joining the popular male celebrity bandwagon, Wild Stone came up with the idea of Statue Grooming. And, in collaboration with local municipal authorities, has decided to give the statues of some of these epic personalities the cleaning and grooming they deserve. After all, Great Men Deserve to Look Great.

Armed with a van full of cleaning equipment and a crew of statue cleaning experts, Wild Stone has been going around Agra, grooming the statues of India’s most incredible men. The idea has caught people’s imagination and encouraged by the tremendous response, Wild Stone is planning to take this initiative to other cities soon.

  • Alakh Alok Srivastava – Entrepreneur and Lawyer behind the PIL that led to Capital Punishment for rape against minor Under POCSO

Alakh Alok Srivastava – Entrepreneur and Lawyer behind the PIL that led to Capital Punishment for rape against minor Under POCSO

January 22: Gold medalist from Campus Law Centre, Delhi University, Advocate Alakh Alok Srivastava has always been into the spotlight since he started his litigation. This ace entrepreneur is also a First Generation Lawyer and works as Advocate-On-Record, Supreme Court of India.

It is interesting to know for a fact that he was not initially into litigation. He got selected into Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited as a law officer soon after his graduation in 2012 and started working there as a law officer.

Advocate Srivastava told us that it was a chance encounter with former Chief Justice of India SH Kapadia that led him to quit a well-paying law officer’s job in the government sector and join litigation.

He recalls- “Justice Kapadia had come to the Indian Law Institute convocation in 2012. I was the topper that year. While giving me the gold medal and certificate, he told me that young people like me should fight for the marginalized sections of the society,”

Advocate Srivastava quit his job as a law officer in Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited soon after. In 2014, he started his own practice. As he started the litigation he chose to do more and more pro bono cases concerning the society. Not soon after his name got synonymous with social cause public interest litigations (PILs). He reached great heights in his litigation but did not forget his roots and the cause why he came into litigation.

The most important PIL of his life has been the one through which capital punishments were amended to be granted as a punishment for rape against minors. As a result of his PIL in 2017, the cabinet ministers amended various provisions of POCSO and included capital punishments in the sections. Advocate Alakh Alok Srivastava had filed the PIL in his personal capacity seeking justice for an eight-month-old girl who was brutally raped by her 28-year-old cousin in Delhi.

“I read about the case in newspapers and went to see her. It was a heart-wrenching experience. Her parents are daily wagers and could not afford her treatment. I decided then that I will move to the Supreme Court seeking justice for her. The only punishment for a crime of such depravity can be death,” shares Advocate Alakh Alok Srivastava.

Following his PIL that the SC set up a medical board to examine the girl and directed the concerned authorities to ensure proper treatment. The girl survived due to his intervention and her family can’t thank him enough.

Even today Advocate Alakh Alot Srivastava is always keen to take up cases concerning social strata to the Supreme Court of India. He takes up these case PRO BONO (free of cost). Recently put up PILs concerning migrant workers and their right which also gained appraisals from around the legal fraternity. He is always ready to take up cases of brutality against women, especially minors, and fights them with conviction. Few months back a couple had set themselves on fire at the premises of Supreme Court and even this incident was out up to the court in the form of an application by Advocate Srivastava himself.

It is a general notion that advocates are bad and stone-hearted people. This notion is broken by Advocate like Alakh Alok Shirvastava. We need more advocates like him who can work for the social upliftment of society.
