New Delhi (India), December 1: Delhi and California based researcher, ideator and entrepreneur Yashraj Bhardwaj, CO-Founder of Petonic Infotech, Ensure Equity, Zenith Vipers, etc. has been appointed as a member of the committee to finalise the National Innovation Startup Policy for Schools by the Ministry of Education. The 15-member committee set up by the Ministry of Education includes other notable dignitaries, including Shri Manoj Ahuja, Chairman, CBSE, Shri Abhay Jere, Chief Innovation Officer, Ministry of Education, Dr Chintan Viashnav, MD Niti Ayog and stalwarts of the Education sector.

The committee has been set up on the lines of the National Innovation Start-up Policy framework for faculty and students of higher education released by the Innovation Cell, Ministry of Education in 2019. The policy framework, adopted by more than 800 Higher Education Institutions, outlines the revenue sharing model, equity sharing requirements and IP sharing models between students, faculty and institutions. It spells out guidelines for the faculty regarding time commitment and positions they can hold in startups.

The committee constituted to finalise the National Innovative Start-up Policy for Schools has been entrusted the responsibility to release a similar framework for schools that will encourage school students, teachers and management to support each other in promoting innovations and startup activities within their campuses.

Yashraj, with an age of 22 years, is among the youngest member appointed to the committee with wide-ranging credentials. Shri Bhardwaj has undertaken more than 30 research projects, filed 18 patent applications and launched various innovative and breakthrough products in India and abroad along with his twin brother Yuvraj Bhardwaj who is also 22 years old. Gi Group India Continues its “Conversations on Sustainable work”

New Delhi (India), December 01: This is a time when women around the world are breaking all barriers, and yet according to a World Economic Forum report [World Economic Forum’s Gender Gap Report], women’s progress in economic participation and opportunity has declined, forcing gender parity to a low 57.8%, a fact further exacerbated by a devastating pandemic.

In India, gender parity at the workplace is still quite a bit out of our reach. As per the ‘DivHERsity Benchmarking Report 2019’, which studied gender parity in the Indian workplace across 300+ companies, only a quarter of India’s workforce is female. This was corroborated not too long back by the ‘India Skills Report 2018’ that puts the economic participation of women in the workforce at 23% in 2018, a concerning fall from 32% in 2016.

In a recent development, Gi Group India organized a virtual event on “Building Gender Parity at Indian Enterprises”, which is the second webinar in the series of “Conversations on Sustainable Work”.

December 01: The COVID-19 pandemic has had a significant impact on Bollywood, as it did on other film industries worldwide.  As cinemas and movie theatres remained closed for a long period and film releases were indefinitely delayed, the Indian box office dropped by billions of dollars.  Many blockbusters initially due to be released since mid-March 2020 were postponed or canceled, with film productions also halted. The people who work as junior artists or behind the scenes in the film and TV industry were affected the worst by all this. During these difficult times, a major union of Indian film and television industry workers, Dhadak All Film Kamgar Sangathana, under the great leadership of prominent labour leader Abhijeet Rane, strongly supported the people working in the field of films, TV serials and web series in various departments.

Abhijeet Rane has been honored by Times Applaud, a leading publisher of press releases, for being a Covid-19 warrior. He has indeed been noble in providing much-needed support to the poor workers of the film and TV industry since the pandemic started.

The lockdown was suddenly declared on TV when it started, and everything, including trains, was paused for a long period of time.  As the pause button was pressed on trains, workers who had come from villages got stuck in Mumbai, and they could not go to their native places. During the lockdown, more than 20,000 migrant workers and needy individuals were coordinated with government agencies and relocated to their native places with the support of the union, which is led by Abhijeet Rane.

New Delhi (India), November 30: Sibling duo Virat Kiran (7) and Chanvitha Sundari (2) set a new UNICO world record by expressing themselves through painting on a 1300 sq ft area in just 3 hours! The painting was abstract expressionism focusing on GLOBAL ENVIRONMENTAL-CRISIS  through ‘Art and Importance of Art Therapy in Everyday Life.’ This feat was achieved at the Trio World Academy, Bangalore, on 27th November 2021.

The 1300sq ft area was covered with almost 100 different concepts such as climate change, water pollution, deforestation, the importance of afforestation, agriculture, farming, and creative fantasy concepts like Virat’s theory surrounding aliens Chanvitha’s concepts of animals all over the world and more. This piece of art is now the largest abstract painting in the world, created by the youngest sibling duo.

The painting wasn’t a new vocation for Virat as he had picked the paintbrushes when he was just 6 months of age, while Chanvitha began her artistic journey at just 3 months. The 7-year-old has always loved exploring various concepts and ideas since he was 6 months old. He tends to visualize the art he wishes to create and does not stop until it’s completed. He likes to imagine how the future would be, be it concepts like flying cars creating air traffic in the future or how all our lakes would dry up in the future because of how we keep polluting it, and these ideas would then come to life on his canvas. In the case of the younger sibling, she is more fascinated with animals, the milky way, and creative ideas like diamond rainfall.

Virat’s first painting was on his balcony walls with his fingers when he noticed the wall painted by his mother, Divya Rajasekaran. He used some of the leftover paints and decided to use a corner of the balcony where he would create his world through art. Watching this, his parents decided to introduce him to painting and drawing and different tools like paints, brushes, pencils, acrylics, poster colors, and more, from which he was more inclined towards acrylics. “Currently, I have used other tools like spatulas, scrapers, and combs for my paintings,” says Virat, who is a student of the Trio World Academy. Divya adds that her daughter Chanvitha picked up the paintbrush when she was just 3 months old, probably noticing her brother engrossed in paints. She further said that Virat wanted his sister to paint as well. In fact, he wants everyone in the world to paint.

Noticing how these abstract child artists dived into creating art at such a young age without any scuffles, something prevalent among siblings, Divya realized that what her children created were unique, leading her to approach Unico World Records.

But this isn’t the first time the prodigy siblings have become popular for their art. “They have clients around the world who want to have a Virat & Chanvitha’s art hanging on their walls. Besides that, they also assist in our architectural projects,” said Divya, an architect. Virat also shares his design inputs and ideas for Design Houzz, owned by his parents. And he joins for every site visit with his mother sharing his design inputs. Divya believes her children received exposure to the world of art truly because of their passion and interest in art, while her mother was also a traditional artist.

Virat and Chanvitha have held many exhibitions to showcase their art and have also sold many of them. Virat’s first exhibition was held even before he turned 1 year old. Chanvitha’s first exhibition was at 3 months along with her brother Virat’s works at Arts Village, St. Mark’s Road.

Parents of the duo, Mr. Rajasekaran & Divya Rajasekaran, are incredibly proud of their children and continue to encourage them in their artistic endeavors. “When you notice your kids show interest in an activity, be it art, music, writing, reading or anything, we must always continue to encourage them and let them grow into their interests,” adds Rajasekaran.

Virat now dreams of opening his art venture to encourage painting among everyone while also spreading happiness through his work. Chanvitha is set to start her education within a year. They continue to create works of abstract art and explore the world of painting.

November 29: Viral Desai, a well-known businessman of Surat and popularly known as the Greenman has undertaken the mission to transform Udvada railway station into Green Udvada on the theme of climate action and ecosystem restoration. Under this mission, he has completed the first phase of work through his NGO Hearts at Work Foundation. His environmental work was inaugurated by GM Alok Kansal of Western Railways as well as high priest of Parsis Dastur Khurshed Dastoor.

Viral Desai and his Hearts at Work Foundation has completed the first phase at Udvada station by planting more than two and a half thousand trees. They have constructed long parapet walls of more than five hundred meters for plantation. The ‘Hut of Gratitude’ was also launched to thank the Parsis for their contribution in the progress and upliftment of the country. Known as the ‘ Proud Pillars of Parsi Community,’ important stories about the life and biography of Dr. Homi Bhabha, Jamshetji Tata, Dadabhai Naoroji are covered in this section.

The Udvada railway station master’s office has also been designed on the theme of ‘Alright Green Zone’, with the exterior of the office focusing on climate action as well as ecosystem restoration. Udvada has become the first railway station in the country to give a green signal to climate action and eco-restoration from the country’s first green alright zone of the railways.

In this regard, Viral Desai said, “Udvada station will become a model station in the future. This station will be surely be acknowledged in the international arena as the first station based on the theme of climate action and ecosystem restoration. It will not only host more than ten thousand trees and plants but also become the first station of Indian railways where a Miyawaki forest of more than six thousand trees as well as there will be a museum in honour of Field Marshal Sam Manekshaw. Ecosystem restoration work will be carried out at the station by combining the Indian Army, the environment and the Parsis, which will fulfil Prime Minister Modi’s plans for climate action.

It may be mentioned that the United Nations Environment will also be informed about the projects of the Udvada station, and the model of this station will be presented at that forum.

Impressed by the work of the first phase of Udvada station as well as his green vision for the future, Viral Desai was officially accorded a special honour by the GM of Western Railways. He was awarded a certificate of commendation and a medal by the Indian railways. November 29: Paws learning and Research Council India recently organized Ultrasonography and echocardiography hands-on Workshop on 15^th November 2021 for Young Veterinary doctors that continued for 3 days until 17^th November 2021. The initiative was aimed to promote the usage of new techniques on the recent development in Veterinary science. The workshop was marked by the participation of young veterinary doctors from all across the globe. There was an air of enthusiasm and excitement amongst all.

The director of PLRC Dr. R T Sharma, and Dr. Ajay Sood, together with renowned speakers from the nation, had graced everyone with their presence. During the workshop, world-renowned speakers all across the globe shared their knowledge and procedure on USG in demands and discussed whole abdomen USG and echocardiography. The workshop was successfully carried out with 40 delegates along with PLRC team. The delegates from India and abroad and their enthusiastic participants ensured that the program was a resounding success.

‘It has been an absolutely amazing and enlightening workshop that was presented in a clear and engaging way with wonderful technique, and we have learned a lot’, says one of the delegates.

Indeed, it is the first time in India where a workshop was organized with 10 ultrasound machines that was absolutely priceless. It turned out to be a wonderful experience for all as they got to attend such a wonderful practical workshop on USG in India and are looking forward to many more advanced courses in the same field.

Team PLRC feels immensely grateful to the media and NGO WBS for the cooperation whose contribution was much appreciated as they were the pillars which stood strong with them during the entire process and made things happen successfully with fruitful outcome. PLRC is widely known to work for the upliftment of the Vet profession, and the vet doctors who work in the field of canine and feline practise of dogs and cats with the mission of upgrading the knowledge and skill of the vet doctors through the organization of CE  programs and hands-on workshop.

In the words of PLRC director Dr R T  Sharma and Dr Ajay Sood, “Our motive behind organizing such advance workshops is to aware our Young vets of the country about the latest developments of recent technology that aims to work on veterinary science in India. The advanced courses abroad cost you dollars to pursue, and not every Indian can afford them. So we took the initiative to plan such workshops in India at a very nominal range together with a good platform. We are planning another workshop very soon where we look forward to the participation of the young vets to come and join such courses and do wonders in their field.”

PLRC is going to organize its annual program “IndianVETexpo-2022” at New Delhi on 6^th-7^th-8^th February 2022 in  PUSA  Institute on the subject of Orthopedic and Neurology to rectify any bone n nerve-related issue in Pets with the adoption of the newest technology in India so that the pets in India are treated in the same way with advanced technology just the way it is treated worldwide.
