Dubai (UAE), November 29: Sanav Ramsankar, a 8-year-old, from Tamil Nadu, India and a blessed resident of Dubai, United Arab Emirates, created a World Record on 23^rd November 2021 by reciting salient details of 186 Rivers from around the world covering the continents, length in kilometres, outflow/destination and countries each river flows through.

This record was administered through a virtual live event on 23^rd November 2021 at 4:30 pm GST (6:00 pm IST) and was streamed live on Facebook and YouTube. During the event, Sanav recited the details of all the 186 world rivers in 15 mins 53 seconds and became the first in the world to create the “World Record” in this newly created category.

Sanav is deeply interested in learning about geography and general landmarks in particular. To expand his knowledge, he has been avidly collecting and learning information through various sources from the Internet. Sanav also can recount the capitals and currencies of 196 countries. Noticing his talent and capabilities, his parents engaged Mr. Sushant Mysorekar (Founder of Brain Rhyme Pvt. Ltd., Singapore and an Internationally certified Intelligence Coach) to coach Sanav, and thus the journey towards this world record started.

It started about two months back under the mentorship of Mr. Sushant Mysorekar. Since then, Sanav has been training in memorizing the details through a combination of cognitive mindset and several creative learning and memory tools and techniques.

A Grade Three student from GEMS The Millennium School (Indian CBSE Curriculum), Dubai, Sanav has put in around 60 hours of work to memorize the world river systems and its details.

Sanav shares the credit of his maiden world record achievement with his mentor and his parents. He says, ‘They have encouraged and worked hard to balance my day-to-day activities and priorities! They helped me practice effectively over the entire period.’

Sanav believes in “Work hard; have fun; learn from mistakes; make history!” and during the event, he conveyed a wonderful message – “Hard work never fails.”

Sanav loves his family comprising of his father, Ramsankar Rajendra Raja, from Tamil Nadu, India, a banking technology professional; his mother Aswini, a homemaker and his ever-playful younger brother, 3-year-old Sajiv.

Interestingly, Sanav also loves to play chess and soccer. He has earned medals and certifications from various internal tournaments in Dubai. His aim is to achieve international norms in chess. In addition, Sanav is a Brown Belt holder in Karate and is working towards receiving Black Belt at the earliest. He has also recently opened his own YouTube channel.

New Delhi [India], November 27: India’s hemp and cannabis sector are all prepared to hit the next wave of food and beverage products with the Food Safety and Security Authority of India (FSSAI) setting the regulation for allowing hemp to be used as a food source.

FSSAI issued a notification on November 15, 2021, stating ‘the hemp seed, hemp seed oil, and hemp seed flour shall be sold as food or used as an ingredient in a food for sale, subject to conforming standards.

Welcoming the FSSAI regulations on hemp as a food source, Founder of Ananta Hemp Works based in Delhi NCR, Abhinav Bhaskar, said, “With extended support from the government, we are expecting the industry to flourish and capture a major chunk of the market in coming times, Not just in sectors limited to medicine, nutritional and personal care but textile, agriculture and others as well. Hemp and marijuana come from the Cannabis family of plants. Both contain tetrahydrocannabinol (THC) and cannabidiol (CBD) with a host of other compounds. CBD is an oil extracted from the leaves that act as a painkiller, muscle relaxant, and mood enhancer. Since in India, it is only allowed to grow hemp which contains 0.3% THC, consuming the same will not get you high.

 November 27: Under the leadership of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, India’s distinct identity has emerged in the world; Gati Shakti will promote self-reliant India. Zonal conference for the Western zone was held at Mahatma Mandir, Gandhinagar, under PM Gati Shakti.

The PM Gati Shakti has been launched by the Central Government under the leadership of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi to provide a National Master Plan for Multi-Modal Connectivity across the country. A zonal conference for Western Region was held today at Mahatma Mandir at Gandhinagar by the Ministry of Ports, Shipping and Waterways, Government of India under PM Gati Shakti.

The zonal conference was organized under the aegis of Deendayal Port Trust, Kandla, was inaugurated by Gujarat chief minister Shri Bhupendra Patel and Union Minister for Ports, Shipping and Waterways, Shri Sarbananda Sonowal.

Thane (Maharashtra) [India], November 25: Till a few years ago, shiv sena did not have a group of educated young activists. In recent times, the face of Shiv Sena has started changing. The reason for that is huge and important. The educated team of young leaders like Cabinet Minister Aditya Thackeray of mahavikas coalition government, Shiv Sena MP Dr. Srikant Shinde, YuvaSena’s Varun Sardesai, YuvaSena secretary Purvesh Sarnaik and many educated youths are now joining shiv sena. Therefore, the help offered in the leadership of this highly educated youth has helped the citizens during the Corona crisis. And it has also started creating the future leadership of Shiv Sena. One of such young activists is Ad. Radhika Abhijit Shedge from Thane. She is a lawyer by profession.

She was the general secretary of the committee for three consecutive years at the Government College in Mumbai. She was also vice president of the Rotoract Club of Thane Skyline. So, her public relations are good. However, in the corona crisis, her leadership qualities rose.

During the times of the first and second waves of the corona, Ad Radhika Shedge started helping people who came to her as much as she could. In the first wave, she opened the doors of the kitchen of her own hotel Sri Swami to the needy. She started distributing free meals to the needy from her hotel. From April 2020 till the end of the first lockdown, she started distributing around 2000 needy people nutritious food daily, and she distributed about 3 lac sanitiser bottles of 50 millilitres. She also distributed PPE kits to doctors and staff of Vedanta on Ghodbunder Road in Thane and Kalsekar Hospital in Mumbra.

However, when she realized that students living in chawls in Thane city, especially in Nalpada, were facing a lot of difficulties in online education, this made her upset. Then Ad. Radhika spoke to her husband and hotelier Abhijit, and then she made sure to make free internet Wi-Fi service available for almost 2000 families there. At the same time, the educational material required by the students was also given free of cost. As a result, the question of the education of students from about 2,000 families was resolved in a moment. Meanwhile, due to the heavy rains in Konkan, there was a huge loss. Ad. Radhika was very sad by all this; she felt very bad for all the residents in Konkan. Radhika Shedge discussed with colleagues and decided to provide help to the flood victims. For this, her husband Abhijit and a colleague took a truck full of essential commodities. The Shedge couple then went to a place affected by heavy rains in Konkan and started helping.

At the same time, Shiv Sena leader and Maharashtra Urban Development and Public Works Minister Eknath Shinde, Environment Minister Aditya Thackeray were also working round the clock to help the flood victims of Konkan. Ad. Radhika was watching all these big leaders working hard in such a situation. It made a huge positive impact on her, and she realized that she needed to have such a big force like this with her to work more and more for people.

After helping the flood victims of Konkan. Ad. Radhika returned to Thane. And within a few days, she joined the Shiv Sena. After entering Shiv Sena Ad. Radhika started working with new energy. For the first time in the Mumbai division, in Hiranandani meadows, a residential complex in Thane city, citizens were provided with a vaccination facility in their own housing complex. Ad. Radhika made it available in collaboration with Apollo Hospital. This was the first time that citizens had access to vaccination facilities directly to their doorsteps in this manner. Thane Municipal Corporation mayor NareshMhaske extended special support for the same. 1050 citizens were directly benefited with home delivery vaccination.

For the last few years, the children of Worli have had something extraordinary to look forward to, thanks to Basti BBQ – a unique pop-up carnival concept by youth activist Arjun Meghe to celebrate children, art, food and entertainment.

This Children’s Day, the third edition of Basti BBQ, was organized at Worli Police Camp. More than 250 children of Mumbai Police personnel were pampered with some delicious food, carnival deco, fun-filled games, live music performances and much more. The event also featured booths for popcorn, candy floss, tattoo painting, selfie points and other interactive activities.

The leading man behind this initiative, Arjun Meghe, is the President of Insaniyat Association – a registered NGO that works for the 360° welfare of Worlikars across women empowerment, sports, art, culture, healthcare and more. Along with Basti BBQ, the NGO Insaniyat is also known to host several other flagship events throughout the year. Insaniyat conducts women empowerment training regularly and concludes them with Jijau Grahak Peth – a flea market that generates independent household income for women. The Worli Health Organization (WHO) is an open medical camp that provides free doctor consultations and medicines to the underprivileged in Worli.

Events like Gun Gaurav reward meritorious board exam students with gadgets and stationery. The youth gets hooked on to their Rap Premier League and other sports leagues.

Interestingly, Arjun is also the Vice President of BJYM Mumbai and has held several prestigious posts in BJP and BJYM. His party senior leader Smt. Chitra Kishor Wagh (Vice President, BJP Maharashtra) graced the event as the Chief Guest and her share of fun with the kids.

November 22: The Talampally family from Hallikhed, Humnabad of the Bidar District of Karnataka, celebrated the wedding of Akash, son of businessman Dhanraj S Talampally and Shailashree Talampally, with Dr. Shakuntala, daughter of former Karnataka minister and sitting Congress MLA Rajashekar B Patil and Prema Patil. The wedding saw the presence of a large section of State and National Political leaders from across various parties from the State. The list included leaders like the former Chief Minister and leader of opposition in Karnataka State Assembly, Siddaramaiah, KPCC President, D K Shivakumar, and Leader of Opposition in the Rajya Sabha, Mallikarjuna Kharge, among other eminent leaders from the state and centre.

The wedding was a feast to the eyes with a lavish ceremony that was organized at Shakuntala Patil Residential School premises in Bidar. Thousands of guests blessed the couple as they step foot into their journey of life together. The grandeur and opulence of the entire event gave an experience the guests would never forget. The entire wedding ground spread over acres of land was lit up, making it nothing less than a fairy-tale royal wedding.​
